06/03/2026: We had lunch as a couple at Les Accordailles after visiting the Château de Compiègne. The location is very convenient, right next to the château. The service was good. The foie gras appetizer was tasty. However, we have a lot to say about the beef bourguignon: dry meat, undercooked vegetables, and an overly salty sauce. We were very hungry and finished the dish with bread, but it really wasn't good! The desserts (pistachio mousse and crème brûlée) were bland, but acceptable. We expressed our dissatisfaction with the beef bourguignon to the manager, and she simply replied, "It's a matter of taste." It fell short of our expectations, especially considering the bill, which was nearly €100 for two people, without wine, for a weekday lunch.

Friendly, smiling, and attentive staff; generous portions from appetizer to dessert; the food was delicious. The decor was magnificent; in short, everything was perfect!!! 24/03/2026: An evening at the Chalet is always eagerly anticipated and appreciated: everything is simply delicious. Unpretentious, yet flavorful. The ingredients are fresh and homemade, and the service is very friendly without being intrusive. As for the setting: the interior, with its fireplace, is just as delightful as the exterior, with its view of the castle near the lake.
