03/04/2024: That they didn’t get Michelin stars this year is a mystery. Yes, the cuisine is more than worth the detour. High level meal. Exceptional work around acidity, fresh and local products. Mastery of cooking, seasonings, textures. All this with attentive service, and in a room of an old inn which retains everything comforting while bringing a breath of freshness and modernity through the furniture, painting and decoration. The only downside is the wine list, which is a little short (yet heterogeneous, natural and classic wines); but I'm sure it will grow over the years. Go quickly; As for me, I sit there regularly.

29/03/2024: Delicate and perfectly executed cuisine from start to finish. The appetizer skillfully combines the crunch of radish with the acidity of verbena. The dish is off the beaten track with “crispy-meltful” veal – a real delight! In summary, an exceptional dining experience. THANKS !

05/04/2024: An interesting but incomplete dining experience. A pretty table awaits you on arrival. Tastefully presented in a very classic atmosphere. All in a pretty Picardy inn. I will rate this restaurant harshly but from a certain price range, you are necessarily more critical and above all more demanding. I was impressed by the execution of some dishes and disappointed by others. Which is unfortunate for this type of establishment. We had the Easter menu and there were quite a few people at the table. From the start, the nice surprises keep coming. The extraction of muché Picard is an interesting taste experience, the diaphanous frog is impressive both visually and taste-wise. The perch stained glass is a beautiful creation, my favorite dish was the morel and vin jaune soufflé. Simply magnificent ! Nice surprise on the bread which is superb visually and in taste. I'm not going to comment on the whole menu, it was long. On the other hand, I have to talk about the lamb which surprised me a lot. A lamb chop on a plate that felt very lonely. (View the photo) No toppings to accompany it? Curious about a dish... I didn't really understand the principle. And a pretty bad mark on dessert. All the other tables were treated to a sort of veil of sugar covering all their plates. For our table, this one had disappeared. So you won't see it in the photos, just like us. Disappointment ! Another problem in my opinion is the wine list. Entry level, with crazy prices for the wines offered. And then you have a gap and switch to expensive wines. Between the two? Nothing! This card lacks balance. But what bothered me the most is that the wines are essentially natural wines, I know it's fashionable but it's not necessarily to everyone's taste. Small disappointment also with the service. We were served water and wine the first time. Then we did the service ourselves. When it was time for cheese, we had to ask for bread 3 times before it arrived. Which is quite strange for this price range (again). Having worked in this type of establishment, I think that the service is not up to standard. To conclude, I would say that the experience is mixed. We would have liked a little more service and a more balanced wine list. I nevertheless recommend the experience if you are curious to discover Mr Tantôt's cuisine.

26/02/2024: The Good Idea Inn is a wonderful and peaceful setting. Impeccable service, mind-blowing culinary discoveries. The head waiter and the waiters are very discreet and attentive to our needs. An explanation of the dishes by Mickael the waiter or by Grégoire the second took us on a journey before our taste discoveries. Attached is a video of the kitchen assistant who makes a homemade honey smoothie for us. We will come back with joy and pleasure. And the little attention for our wedding anniversary was a very nice surprise.

02/04/2024: Very good food and good atmosphere when there is entertainment with singer. I recommend, among other things, Paris Brest. Price a little high but the food is worth it

21/03/2024: Excellent romantic place on the banks of the Oise - very large outdoor terrace with views. inside, we are not on top of each other and privacy is respected. Impeccable service and quality of the meal - friendliness and correctness of all the staff on the agenda!!! I highly recommend. it feels like we're on vacation....

23/03/2024: I tried the Vegetarian Burger (which is also vegan) and it was delicious and very filling! I strongly advise you to come, the service is top notch, fast, and the whole team is very nice.

23/03/2024: Quality meal, nothing to say. On the other hand, the server, poor reception, inappropriate comments (I'm trying to get fired), unprofessional cold look. Clear the table during our tasting (let's go quickly).

13/03/2024: At the top came this afternoon, welcome, atmosphere nothing to say. And dishes at the top, very good and plentiful, I recommend the ficelle picarde a real gourmet delight.

30/03/2024: Lunch on March 29, 2024, very disappointed Expensive compared to the proposed menu 37 euros for a slice of foie gras, an overcooked ficelle Picarde with salad and 2 scoops of ice cream. while on three occasions I told the waiter that the ficelle .picarde was overcooked, I was told I will talk to the chef about it,,,,no follow-up, this restaurant lacks seriousness. restaurant to avoid.

09/12/2023: But how good we are! Always well received, and that's good!! We tested the terrace this summer and we went back despite the gloomy weather and we had a great time!! This little roasted Camembert and the tarte tatin with whipped cream and toasted almonds wow! An unbeatable value for money, barely 40th between the two of us for two courses, two drinks and two desserts in addition to the welcome and the setting, don't change a thing!! It's great ! 👍

06/03/2024: A great discovery in Pont Sainte Maxence, a town that I know little about. Cozy establishment with quality cuisine, I really liked the main course and dessert formula for €27. The duck breast was well served and well cooked. The original and tasty soft peanut chocolate. I don't rule out going back if the opportunity arises again...
