26/01/2026: A disaster. I asked if there were onions and shallots in the burger on the Market menu. I specified that if so, and they couldn't be removed, I would order something else. They brought me a burger loaded with onions. I pointed it out, and they brought it back, saying, "We've changed everything." But they had simply removed the excess onions. If I had an allergy and had trusted them: I would have had angioedema. The sirloin steak: more fat than meat. Our daughter's waffle was like a biscuit; it hadn't been properly defrosted. To top it all off: no changing table in the restroom. In the end, not even a gesture of goodwill; I paid for everything, as if it were perfect.

18/01/2026: The staff were very friendly, we thoroughly enjoyed the lamb shank with its vegetables and the French toast.

16/11/2025: Friendly atmosphere. Friendly owner. Complimentary homemade appetizers. Set menu for 30 euros: starter, main course, and dessert with 5 choices, all homemade. Quick service. Highly recommended.

05/10/2025: Grandma's cooking in an authentic Valois atmosphere! Located at the crossroads of the two immense forests of Compiegne and Retz, the Auberge de la Vallée is a comforting stopover. I often walked past it until the day I finally tried it! And what a moment!! Fireplace, delicate service, tasty dishes... Everything is homemade! I enjoyed lingering, chatting with the other customers, then the owner, and finished lunch on the sunny terrace in the middle of October. An enchanting interlude!

10/10/2025: Everything was good, service was perfect. The price was reasonable. My star was less; I was disappointed that the website wasn't up to date. Neither were the prices. 🥲

08/10/2025: An incredible service, and I'm taking the time after the wedding to write a few lines because you can go there with your eyes closed. - Meeting before the wedding: clear, efficient quote, no hidden costs, in short, everything was clear. - Service provided by kind, adaptable, and friendly servers. - Food so good, filling, and plentiful. Our guests were won over by the reception and cocktail reception format. Everything was perfect. Superb team, don't change!!! 😍

30/12/2025: "Le Village" in Choisy-au-Bac... a lovely discovery, this small bistro restaurant in the heart of the village is perfect for a mother-daughter lunch... a gem for the taste buds!! The welcome is warm, friendly, and attentive, and the setting is very pleasant (small room for 30 people). A minimalist menu (changed regularly) with a choice of 2 starters, 2 main courses, and/or 2 desserts for less than €40... But the cuisine is refined and flavorful, made with fresh, local, and seasonal ingredients. Undeniably more than adequate value for money. For my part, I opted for a Toulouse sausage (designed by the chef himself... a killer flavor) with mashed potatoes and caramelized onions, finished with a warm apricot clafoutis. My eldest, meanwhile, chose cod with fregola risotto and finished with a peach gazpacho with its fruit. To accompany everything, on recommendation, we opted for a glass of "Marius" white wine. An excellent choice. In short, we enjoyed ourselves from start to finish!! And we'll each return without hesitation. I highly recommend this restaurant... however, I think it's best to make a reservation because today was a packed house 😉

18/08/2025: Very friendly welcome and attentive service. The food is simple but good quality for a very reasonable price. As a starter, a creamy poached egg followed by a melt-in-your-mouth skate wing. Chocolate cake to finish 😋

08/02/2026: A very pleasant restaurant, from the warm welcome and tasteful decor to the attentive service. From start to finish, the appetizer, main course, and dessert (cheese platter) were all impeccable. The children's menu is also excellent, featuring homemade products. Special mention for the little extra touch that made all the difference on our daughter's plate 😉 A great place to discover.
