31/03/2026: A pleasant restaurant with a warm, very local atmosphere. You feel right at home enjoying the chef's delicious dishes. A splendid rib of beef to share with the family, served with homemade fries and peppercorn and béarnaise sauces. The portions were generous, but our sweet tooth led us to order dessert, the Picardy-style rabotte. A great choice—it was delicious! The service was quick and efficient; La Fontaine St Jean is a great place, and word gets around. Reservations are recommended.

20/04/2026: I celebrated my birthday at Le Puit Chantant and I couldn't have dreamed of anything better. The new owners are lovely, very attentive, and did everything to make the evening perfect. The menu was tailored to our needs, the organization was seamless, and the atmosphere was truly fantastic with a music quiz, karaoke, and dance music—everything was perfectly balanced. We also had a wonderful meal; kudos to the chef! A warm and welcoming place, a dedicated team, and a truly positive energy. Thank you for this wonderful experience; I will definitely be back.

From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped by a warm atmosphere and incredible energy that immediately set the tone for the evening. The quality of the food is simply remarkable, with the chef's true creativity evident in every dish. A special mention goes to the salted caramel dessert taco: a true masterpiece that provided a perfect ending to the meal! A big thank you also to the owner, a man of rare elegance, who takes the time to circulate among the tables with finesse and tact to ensure everyone is having a wonderful time. And how could I not thank Raphaële, who took on the challenge of getting the whole room to sing for my birthday—a truly touching moment that will forever be etched in my memory as I turn 40! 16/04/2026: A wonderful discovery! A very good menu featuring local products. Beautiful presentation, a feast for the eyes, and the taste buds confirm it. The restaurant was very clean, both the dining room and restrooms. Parking is nearby, just across the street. I highly recommend it and we will definitely be back.

04/05/2026: We came to this restaurant as a party of five for a meal (bill of €219), and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. From the start, an infernal noise coming from a service door made the meal unpleasant. Regarding the service: - No bread during the second course; I had to get up to ask for some. - A beer ordered at the beginning of the meal was only served after we complained, and even then, in the middle of the main course. Regarding the food: - The waiter recommended the aged ribeye steak (€5 extra per person): extremely fatty, very little meat. - When we complained, the manager told us that he didn't recommend this dish, particularly because of the fat... difficult to understand when it was recommended to us at the table. - The side dishes (fries/vegetables) were far too small for any of the main courses. - A portion of fries that was more like a children's meal. We reported these problems on-site, but received no solution or compensation. Response: “I’m not in the meat business” and “there are still some adjustments to be made,” even though the restaurant has been open for several months… Very disappointing considering the price paid. We won’t be back.

Next comes the signature dish: the famous homemade calf's head, revealing all its finesse: a melting texture, a perfectly balanced sauce, and a light, silky emulsion that transforms this traditional dish into an unexpected delight, gently awakening the palate. It's impossible to resist dessert: the famous homemade Tarte Tatin, featuring exceptionally tender caramelized apples, complemented by ice cream that elevates the entire dish. Special mention goes to the generous portions, which truly honor the diner without ever sacrificing the finesse of the execution. This is cuisine worthy of a grand restaurant, combining generosity and elegance, where each plate is an invitation to gustatory bliss. Bravo to the chef and his wife: it was a rare and memorable treat!
