17/04/2026: The service and food were really bad; you can tell there's tension between the servers and the kitchen. The family atmosphere is completely lacking, and their attitude leaves much to be desired.

01/04/2026: Despite the years, the quality remains consistently high. The service is impeccable, and the food is equally so. A family atmosphere, but equally suited to a romantic dinner for two. (Several dining rooms, and a terrace in the warmer months.) One of my favorite places. A haven of peace in a world that never sleeps.

17/11/2025: Excellent caterer for my 50th birthday meal. Excellent menu and very good value for money. Delicious and very tender beef. Table service was a little rushed, but that was due to the caterer's very busy schedule that day. Efficient and professional waitress.

26/04/2026: Finally, a restaurant that delighted us from the very beginning with a local beer, expertly prepared starters, flavorful regional dishes, and delicious, high-quality desserts—and I almost forgot! A personalized and memorable welcome. The best meal of our trip to Picardy.

31/03/2026: A pleasant restaurant with a warm, very local atmosphere. You feel right at home enjoying the chef's delicious dishes. A splendid rib of beef to share with the family, served with homemade fries and peppercorn and béarnaise sauces. The portions were generous, but our sweet tooth led us to order dessert, the Picardy-style rabotte. A great choice—it was delicious! The service was quick and efficient; La Fontaine St Jean is a great place, and word gets around. Reservations are recommended.

The quality of the food is simply remarkable, with the chef's true creativity evident in every dish. A special mention goes to the salted caramel dessert taco: a true masterpiece that provided a perfect ending to the meal! A big thank you also to the owner, a man of rare elegance, who takes the time to circulate among the tables with finesse and tact to ensure everyone is having a wonderful time. And how could I not thank Raphaële, who took on the challenge of getting the whole room to sing for my birthday—a truly touching moment that will forever be etched in my memory as I turn 40! 15/03/2026: Idyllic. The setting is soothing, the decor tasteful, modern, warm, and comfortable. You feel like you're in a cocoon, yet the design is understated. To top it all off, the wines, food, and breakfast are exceptional. An ideal getaway to recharge.
