08/08/2026: The restaurant is very conveniently located next to the hotel, but as for the staff's smiles, you'd have to be a real pro to get up early. It was certainly hot, they were probably exhausted, but still. A waitress dressed so carelessly doesn't look very professional. The menu is very varied, but many dishes are swimming in oil, like the deep-fried breaded fish with ultra-greasy fries that made me feel nauseous all day. It's quite noisy because it's always crowded. Special mention goes to the Béarnaise sauce, which was excellent.

07/07/2026: We went there during the heatwave, and the place wasn't air-conditioned. We were very hot. As for the food, it seemed frozen. Everything was soggy and tasteless.

In a beautiful interior setting, you'll find a warm and welcoming staff who take the time to explain the selection of pastries, viennoiseries, different breads, and menus offering a wide variety of dishes, desserts, and drinks. In second place, a bakery in Bandol. I've tasted over sixty apple turnovers across France.

20/08/2026: Excellent bakery and pastry shop, offering both takeaway and on-site dining. The cakes are delicious, the bread is flavorful and keeps for two days or even longer (especially the slices sold by weight). The flaky brioche is superb! The staff is friendly and plentiful, with five payment stations.

11/07/2026: Hello, I am contacting you because I am a regular customer, but my visit this morning left a very bad taste in my mouth. I arrived a little before opening time. The doors were already physically open, but I was refused access to the restrooms because I needed to use them urgently, on the pretext that there were 3 minutes left before the official opening time. Right after that, I returned a box full of luggage. The employee refused to refund me, claiming there was a scanning problem or that the return had already been processed. I left with only €2.10, which was far from the amount due. I usually appreciate the friendly service of your store, but this lack of flexibility and this refund issue have greatly disappointed me. How can we resolve the problem of this incorrectly scanned luggage? Thank you in advance for your reply. Sincerely, Update: The manager contacted me by email to refuse any refund for my physical till, hiding behind account statistics. She didn't even apologize for her employee's appalling behavior and, worse, condoned it. Deplorable business practices, avoid them at all costs.

26/05/2026: For our wedding on May 23rd, we chose La Boule d'Or. Before the wedding, we were able to sample the meal and received a very warm welcome and excellent guidance, which was a real plus. The day before the wedding, Nicolas, our maître d'hôtel, came to check in, which was reassuring. On the big day, Nicolas and his team were perfect. The cocktail hour was exceptional and the meal was excellent. The service was flawless, with perfect timing. We could tell we were dealing with true professionals who are experienced in large events and who take exceptional care of their guests. All our guests gave us nothing but praise for the service and the meal. I highly recommend them. We discovered La Boule d'Or at another wedding, and our initial impression was confirmed.

14/08/2026: No welcome whatsoever, a nonchalant waiter who seemed bothered by us, ignored several times during our visit, we won't be going back to this establishment. Since March, we've automatically gone to Brasserie Georges across the street. The waiters are welcoming, smiling, very professional, and the food is high quality and reasonably priced; I highly recommend it.

25/08/2026: A place worth discovering... beautiful, peaceful surroundings... lovely. The menu is simple, but everything is delicious, prepared with care, and the service is excellent... not a single flaw in either of our two dinners.

20/08/2026: A delightful surprise! I'd heard about this restaurant several times (especially for its terrace overlooking the Oise River). The service was superb, the staff lovely. We had a wonderful meal; the flank steak was excellent and melted in your mouth. Excellent value for money. I highly recommend it!

28/07/2026: We booked a table to celebrate our two-year anniversary and we weren't disappointed. A small, cozy bistro, reasonably priced for the quality of both the service and the food. Friendly, welcoming, and attentive to its customers. A place we highly recommend.

26/07/2026: Actually, it's not the food itself that's the problem, but the service. The phone was unreachable, both the landline and mobile, to check if they had any availability. So we decided to go anyway, taking a chance. We went in, there were three of us, and the man was already behind his bar, not coming to greet us. I went over to him behind the bar and asked if there was any space (I saw two small empty tables). It was 1:30 PM, and he told me there wasn't. So, unfortunately, the service didn't live up to the restaurant's reputation.
