From the very first bite, a magnificent homemade foie gras of remarkable creaminess. Each bite is a pure moment of exquisite flavors, a perfect balance of controlled intensity and delicate equilibrium. Next comes the signature dish: the famous homemade calf's head, revealing all its finesse: a melting texture, a perfectly balanced sauce, and a light, silky emulsion that transforms this traditional dish into an unexpected delight, gently awakening the palate. It's impossible to resist dessert: the famous homemade Tarte Tatin, featuring exceptionally tender caramelized apples, complemented by ice cream that elevates the entire dish. Special mention goes to the generous portions, which truly honor the diner without ever sacrificing the finesse of the execution. This is cuisine worthy of a grand restaurant, combining generosity and elegance, where each plate is an invitation to gustatory bliss. 05/04/2026: Pleasant setting but disappointing and expensive food at 90 euros per person for aperitif and set menu.... Lukewarm, tasteless scallops on a bed of caramelized onions and overly sweet pear compote. Unremarkable chocolate dessert. It's more like a jumble of ingredients than fine dining.

30/12/2025: "Le Village" in Choisy-au-Bac... a lovely discovery, this small bistro restaurant in the heart of the village is perfect for a mother-daughter lunch... a gem for the taste buds!! The welcome is warm, friendly, and attentive, and the setting is very pleasant (small room for 30 people). A minimalist menu (changed regularly) with a choice of 2 starters, 2 main courses, and/or 2 desserts for less than €40... But the cuisine is refined and flavorful, made with fresh, local, and seasonal ingredients. Undeniably more than adequate value for money. For my part, I opted for a Toulouse sausage (designed by the chef himself... a killer flavor) with mashed potatoes and caramelized onions, finished with a warm apricot clafoutis. My eldest, meanwhile, chose cod with fregola risotto and finished with a peach gazpacho with its fruit. To accompany everything, on recommendation, we opted for a glass of "Marius" white wine. An excellent choice. In short, we enjoyed ourselves from start to finish!! And we'll each return without hesitation. I highly recommend this restaurant... however, I think it's best to make a reservation because today was a packed house 😉

24/03/2026: My partner and I came to this restaurant for the first time on a Saturday evening. We received a very warm welcome, and while the menu is short, it's quite varied, which is often a sign of quality! Indeed, the dishes were delicious, homemade, and traditional! A wonderful discovery! I'm eight months pregnant, and the service and the food were very accommodating to my dietary restrictions! The only slight drawback might be the portion sizes, which were a little small considering the price. In any case, thank you for a lovely evening, and we'll definitely be back!

26/03/2026: Extremely expensive, terrible food, very low-quality and poorly prepared ingredients, the fries weren't homemade, the stir-fry was made with frozen vegetables—what a disgrace! The foie gras was grey and not fresh. Starters and main courses were served in tiny portions, while the desserts (also bad) were extra-large. And despite a bill of over €400, no compensation whatsoever. And to top it all off, we've been sick for two days. This establishment shouldn't be allowed to serve customers. Avoid at all costs. Edit after almost two weeks: Listeria food poisoning, doctor's visit, heavy course of antibiotics. This restaurant should be closed.

22/01/2026: I first encountered Le Comptoir Senlisien when I arrived in Senlis 20 years ago. The atmosphere, the quality of the service, and the drinks were everything I expect from a tea room. A cozy place, with small lamps casting a soft glow, friendly service, and exquisite, piping hot teas accompanied by delicate pastries. It was with great disappointment that I recently returned. The lighting has become dim, the tea barely lukewarm, and served without any indication of brewing time. The cake I ordered was dry, even stale. I personally found the welcome mediocre, with the unpleasant feeling that friendliness was mistaken for over-familiarity. Some may appreciate it, but I don't think I'll be going back.

24/03/2026: For an eightieth anniversary 🎂 we couldn't resist a big surprise to welcome our guests... A very cozy and stylish place not far from the Ermenonville forest (the Sea of ​​Sand). The restaurant in Ver-sur-Launette has several small seating areas, and then a large room at the back for events (baptisms, engagements, communions, etc.). The food is delicious and, above all, well prepared.
