25/06/2026: Very nice stay in Mi Hotel Tour Rose - Terracotta room and Ocre room. The hotel is perfectly situated exactly where we wanted to stay ; old town Lyon. Everything was great and accurately portrayed on internet. Service is a bit complicated to reach, but when we successfully reached them they were very nice and quick to act. As the hotel does not have any on-site employees, if we needed something, such as new towels, or if we had an issue with our room, we had to contact them by phone. As we did not have an international phone plan we had to borrow phones from restaurants to reach them. And they are not always available as the line is frequently busy. We had to call several times and on two different occasions.

29/05/2026: Always excellent, with a preference for rooms overlooking the courtyard. Unbeatable value for money. One suggestion (I know it's not your business model, but) => put a bottle of chilled water in the rooms upon arrival. See you soon!

28/09/2026: We had a wonderful time, delighted at every stage of the meal. The presentation of the dishes, the ambiance, the attentive staff, and the beautiful setting all combined to make this dinner a truly magnificent experience.

27/09/2026: Signature Menu: Very good and well presented. There were plenty of servers, including a novice sommelier who served us five glasses of wine with the menu (I think there are six in this menu). Fewer servers were present towards the end.

19/06/2026: An average experience. Ordering just a salad and dessert with a glass of wine isn't appreciated at this restaurant; they pressured us into ordering the salad as a main course. Well, no... the salad will suffice, thank you. This has been passed around the kitchen; please be discreet, gentlemen, you are talking about customers who might potentially return. The recipe for gravlax salmon is "raw salmon fillet marinated in coarse salt, sugar, herbs, and lemon," not just ordinary smoked salmon. The same goes for the cervelle de canut; that's not what was in the salad... however, for dessert, there was a real cervelle de canut, but you took revenge with the pepper. Too bad...

06/08/2026: I opted for the Very Hungry menu. We started with open-faced sandwiches accompanied by exceptional sourdough bread, which paired perfectly with the butter and jam. The veal tartare was also excellent. The only negative point was the timing of the service: we received our main courses while we were still eating the open-faced sandwiches. Personally, I think it would have been better to serve them a few minutes later. Five minutes of respite would allow us to fully enjoy the menu and appreciate these superb dishes even more.

Luis is so kind and caring, I've rarely seen anyone like him. Thank you for taking the time to reassure us and advise us!! The timing was perfect! The meal was exceptional from beginning to end. A huge thank you to our DJ, Matthieu, who masterfully led the evening! The staff is wonderful. I challenge you to find a single negative point, because I guarantee there isn't one! One thing is for sure: if we were to get married 100 times, it would be in a row!!! 🥰 A thousand thanks for transforming our wedding into a waking dream! A special thank you to Guillaume and Luis, two incredibly kind, attentive, and always caring men, as well as to all the servers who took such good care of us and our guests throughout the evening. 🥰 And what can we say about the meal… a real treat! 15/09/2026: A birthday dinner with karaoke was planned. From the very first drinks, we couldn't hear ourselves think because the owner's song was so loud. Way too loud, several people complained of ear pain, including some children who were there that evening. We informed the manager (the owner's wife), who seemed powerless to do anything and told us to tell her ourselves. Later, after informing the manager that the sound level meter in the establishment regularly registered 95, 105, and even 110 decibels in the room, he didn't seem to appreciate the comment at all and disregarded both the regulations and the hearing health of his customers. The communication was very unpleasant, and the manager showed no willingness to acknowledge the situation. I won't be returning, especially since the prices are quite high.

15/09/2026: Excellent evening! Thank you again, we'll be back again and again! All the tables took turns singing, a very friendly atmosphere. And we thoroughly enjoyed the pizzas served.

29/07/2026: A lovely dinner on the terrace: the waitress was fantastic, the food was generous, delicious, and homemade!

23/08/2026: The coffee gave us terrible stomach aches and tasted awful. After we sent the syrup back with water because it had feathers in it, they brought it back to us in a horribly disgusting glass (see photo, very, very, very dirty).

11/08/2026: Excellent food, with a constantly changing menu (one dish every week, and one dish every day). The portions are generous, made with fresh, seasonal ingredients. The dishes and ingredients are always evolving. All for under €10. The service is perfect; Edouard and Emma are kind, attentive, and take great care of their customers. The best place in Lyon for an easy, quick, and delicious lunch.
