22/09/2024: Arrivés à l'accueil, personne. Apres 10mn d'attente, on décide de s'avancer vers la salle où là, une personne nous emmène enfin à notre table. Un peu d'attente aussi pour que quelqu'un vienne prendre notre commande. Le serveur incapable de nous donner une explication sur les vins !!! Pas même un sommelier !! Nous choisissons donc à l'aveugle en privilégiant une valeur connue... De l'attente aussi pour les mises en bouche qui sont simplement une tranche de paté en croûte coupée en morceaux... Vin servi sans torchon, le serveur essuie la goutte avec son doigt !!! Pour un 2 🌟 !!!! Beaucoup de fautes de goût... Ensuite, rien à redire, tout est copieux et très bon. Si ce n'est qu'à la fin du menu, est prévue une mignardise qu'on ne nous a jamais servi.... Donc pas à la hauteur des 2 étoiles

26/08/2024: Excellent experience at the Wengue Lounge in Villefranche-sur-Saône! Despite my late arrival, the welcome was particularly warm and attentive. The staff were very friendly and immediately put me at ease. As for the meal, it was flawless: tasty dishes, well presented and made with quality products. Even at a late hour, the freshness of the dishes and the elegance of the presentation were impeccable. An address that I highly recommend for the quality of the service and the finesse of the cuisine. A very nice discovery!

15/12/2024: 2 people in the afternoon on 10/25/2024, during the Prime Minister's visit to L'Arbresle. We had a glass of wine and a tomato juice, and 8 small cakes (which were paid for by the ministerial delegation) Price paid €15.60 for 2 glasses. It appears that a voluntary double payment by management was made on the cakes. I am waiting for a response from management or to give me details of the price of our two drinks. 15/12/2024 No response from management, therefore establishment to AVOID.

23/05/2025: I would like to extend my warmest thanks to the Lycée Professionnel Hôtelier de la Vidaude. What particularly touches me is the tremendous opportunity it offers young people who may be struggling academically. Managed by a non-profit organization, the establishment not only trains students for excellence; it also allows them to discover the restaurant industry, regain confidence, and flourish. Congratulations on this inclusive and promising approach!

04/11/2024: Custom-made family meal for 15 people. Impeccable service in a reserved room, to spend a friendly moment between us. Value for money hard to beat. Nothing to say, other than to highly recommend this address.

15/12/2024: we'll start at the beginning. a CATASTROPHIC organization! we had 3 people on the phone, 3 different reservation speeches. a deposit of €90 to give, a reservation of dishes by email, for a table of 17, which we design but which we only know 3-4 days before, in the end an email which was of no use since a dish was missing, and they were confused about taking the order. friends we had a raclette, a satisfying quarter of a wheel, but then the charcuterie! at the level of St Etienne in league 1, disgusting! a very, very close resemblance to that of Carrefour… WEIRD? I DON'T BELIEVE! for the rest, Tartiflette, Croziflette, andouillette gratin, it was very good even if it was necessary to fight to get a leaf of salad with the dish.. if you are looking for friendly service with a smile? don't go too low, you'll only find grumpy dwarves who are unhappy about having to do a job for which it's not difficult to have respect, and to be at least friendly to customers. at the time of payment, the 90€ deposit was not removed from the bill, fortunately we were vigilant while we were dealing with professionals, and normally regloss people, but that was not the case. case. a note of 700€, without having even a gesture from the boss! We're not looking at that at all, because it must be automatic, but it really represents the lamentable mentality of the restaurant. the quality of the dish was present, but we will not return there.

22/11/2024: A little gem a few steps from the Halles Paul Bocuse. Delicious local menu with Beaujolais-style sausage, accompanied by mashed potatoes and perfectly cooked vegetables. For dessert, excellent praline tart accompanied by tasty whipped cream. All this in a warm setting. Impeccable service.

17/11/2024: We were 7 guests with a reservation for a brunch at 11:45 a.m. At 1:07 p.m. the waitress came to tell us that the table was reserved for 1 p.m. and we had to go. It's anything but commercial, polite and considerate. The purpose of a Sunday brunch is to take the time, the chill moment of the weekend, what a waste.
