12/09/2024: Le Largo is, in my opinion, the best meat restaurant in Lyon, and believe me, as a regular on the Lyon gastronomic scene, I have tried a few! The quality of the meat is simply exceptional, tender and flavorful every time. A must for meat lovers – on the other hand, vegetarians, move on, this is the kingdom of prime rib! Impeccable service, friendly atmosphere and a guaranteed culinary experience. Not to be missed

07/09/2024: Exceptional, from starter to dessert, even coffee! We chose the secreto and the duo of pâté en croute as a starter, the secreto literally tastes good in your mouth... Then a tasting of matured meats, Aubrac and Salers, presented in the window by the staff, then cut and brought back to the table before cooking... red wine chosen by the glass, roast side, and Saint Joseph are no longer to be presented! The desserts were also very good! In short, a taste experience where you launch with your eyes closed!

10/09/2024: Very nice place, we ate outside in June. The owner of the restaurant is very welcoming. Asian food is pretty good but quite expensive. As for dessert, we didn't like it at all. Frozen dessert with the taste of the fridge. Come and test to give yourself an opinion. However, the place is worth the effort in summer!

15/09/2024: Nous avons mangé en famille hier soir aux Fines Gueules et nous nous sommes régalés. Les meilleurs quenelles de brochet que nous n’ayons jamais mangé ! L’ambiance était agréable et le serveur très sympathique. Nous recommandons !

17/09/2024: After an extensive review of Google reviews looking for an authentic French restaurant in Lyon we chose Le Vivarais and we wasn't disappointed. It has a lovely decor that shows a bit of class. The service all the way through was attentive and informative about the food we were served. The food was every bit impressive in it's taste and presentation. Excluding wine we paid €33-35 per head for 2 courses and worth every penny.

14/09/2024: Le Vivarais is in the heart of the peninsula (Presqu'île) area, in the center of Lyon, France. I visited this restaurant for a family dinner, and it was very enjoyable. The food was fresh, very nicely presented and it was tasty. The menu is very traditional , very Lyonnais in style, with food and recipes that are local to this area. No nouvelle Cuisine here, but good value for the money, which I appreciate. The service was timely and attentive as well. At the end of our lunch, we got a quick visit from the chef, who wore the prestigious "Meilleur Ouvrier de France" distinction on his collar. While that last check did not change much, I suppose that if anything was not up to standard, it was obvious that the chef wanted to know first hand. Good practice!

02/08/2024: Great time spent on the Dandelion terrace. Delicious cheese omelette, perfectly cooked and original with the little pesto-type sauce which really balances the flavors well. The drinks are good and plentiful. Very pleasant staff, direct proximity to the Perrache train station and prices that are a little high but reasonable given the quality of the products and the service. I came at 8:30/9am and there were plenty of places available for breakfast. Shaded terrace until 9:30 a.m./10 a.m. in summer, on a quiet street. Ultimately, it is a beautiful, authentic and quiet place that I recommend for those who can afford it or who want to treat themselves to a little treat with good value for money. THANKS !

19/09/2024: Warm and dynamic welcome. Quality dish with tender and rare meat as it should be. Generous portion for a reasonable price. I can only recommend it for a visit to the region.

06/06/2024: Habitante du quartier j’ai pris une part de cake marbré ce jour, enceinte on ne m’a pas informé que le cake marbré chocolat était imbibé d’alcool et n’avait que le goût de l’alcool… J’ai appelé pour le signifier, on ne m’a pas proposé de geste commercial et on m’a certifié que l’alcool était indiqué sur l’étiquette. A en juger par la photo sur le site…

16/08/2024: Superb address! Very pleasant terrace, very welcoming and kind staff. The menu is varied and the cuisine is delicious, I recommend the Tiramisu as a starter which is a gem! The presentation of the dishes is elaborate and the dishes are delicious, I have come several times to this beautiful restaurant, and I can only recommend that you go there to eat a very good meal! :)
