You can tell the dishes are prepared with good ingredients... and with love! The prices are quite reasonable. A really great atmosphere. This is the second time we've had lunch at Bistrot d'Odette, and it won't be the last!

26/09/2026: Great restaurant, friendly and welcoming staff, and excellent food. I had booked for 3 to be sure, and although we arrived among the first, the restaurant filled up quickly.

20/09/2026: Lovely table in a secluded corner just past the Charvet clock. Very pleasant and friendly service (you feel comfortable, even very comfortable) and perfectly executed cuisine. In short, a place to go back to again and again...😉

20/09/2026: A €35 "Lyonnais menu," and frankly, it's not worth the trip. The main courses have a rather disappointing "fast-food" feel. The tripe is drowned in an excessively thick coating: it looks like cheap fried chicken, not a traditional Lyonnais dish. The pike quenelle, meanwhile, is bland, pasty, and almost disgusting. For this price, you expect better than heavy, poorly executed, and clearly overpriced food. Don't waste your time or money here. A €35 "Lyonnais menu," and honestly, it's not worth it. The main courses feel closer to fast food than to a proper Lyonnais. The tripe is buried under a coating that's far too thick—more like cheap fried chicken than a classic Lyonnais dish. The pike quenelle is bland, pasty, and frankly unpleasant. At this price, you expect better than heavy, poorly executed, completely overpriced food. Don't waste your time or your money here.

04/09/2026: A SHAME! The waitresses are very nice, but the restaurant is SHAMEFUL!! It has NOTHING MOROCCAN about it, not even remotely; the rib-eye steaks aren't even halal!!!! I've never seen anything like it in my life; it's nothing like a Moroccan restaurant. You call this Moroccan couscous????????

06/09/2026: July 2026: Year-end update A beautiful evolution on the plate. Still as refined, but so much more indulgent. Some slightly more unusual combinations. Truly delicious. Service even better than before. We can finally give it a glowing recommendation 😉 March 2025: There's a lot to say, both good and bad. First, the dining room. Cold and drab. We were the second couple to arrive, and we felt like we were sitting in a train station waiting room... Once full, it was very noisy! Then, the service. Excellent. The staff is very approachable, pleasant, and attentive. Finally, the meal. We were a little disappointed for a 2-Michelin-starred restaurant with a €200 menu. Nothing was wrong or bad, of course, but the flavors were rather mild and all quite classic. Even though the result was very good, nothing truly exceptional. Special mention, however, goes to the cheese (what a plate! 😜), the frog leg accompaniment, and the pigeon. Ultimately, we had a good meal, but we find it difficult to recommend the restaurant to our foodie friends.

The interior is relatively small and simply decorated, giving the feeling of a chef inviting friends over for a meal at his home. Tablecloth-less wooden tables create a relaxed and informal atmosphere. 🎗️ The chef presents his dishes under the motto "Keep it simple - keep it good," minimizing unnecessary elements, focusing on balanced plating, and emphasizing the quality of the ingredients. Each dish has a light flavor profile and avoids the heavy buttery elements found in classic restaurants. For the beginning of 2026, the restaurant presents a Tasting Menu called Menu Joyeux, utilizing daily available ingredients. Starting with the lunch-only Menu Envie ($80), consisting of a Starter, Main Course, and Dessert, with the option to add a cheese course for €22; the next is Menu Essence ($160), served both lunch and dinner, comprising 3 courses, Cheese, and Dessert; and finally, Menu Partage ($220), also served both lunch and dinner, consisting of 4 courses, Cheese, and 2 Desserts. Some highlight dishes include: ✨ Lamb Perfectly grilled lamb on a barbecue, paired with artichoke and fried leeks, and a rich Jus sauce. Diced Vaucluse truffles are added, with a thin layer of grated truffle on top. (16/20) ✨ Dessert The main dessert is a variety of rhubarb dishes, infused with the fragrant aroma of lavender. The bottom layer is a cream served with a texture similar to panna cotta (17/20). 🎗️ Takao Takano is one of the most popular restaurants in Lyon. All the dishes have accessible flavors and diverse elements. The prices are very reasonable, making it hard to find a comparable restaurant elsewhere. There's a decent selection of wines. However, due to the limited number of staff, service may be a bit slow. We had a fantastic time and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. I highly recommend this restaurant, both for the quality of the cuisine and for the warm welcome and excellent service. 02/09/2026: We had a wonderful time at La Mère Brazier, a truly delightful culinary experience with completely new and exciting flavors. The food was beautifully cooked and presented. My only slight reservation was that my husband didn't care for the sauce that accompanied the sweetbreads, but I was absolutely delighted with my meal. Special mention goes to the sommelier who recommended the wine. The staff is attentive without being intrusive. They even ask about any allergies. The setting is understated, and the tableware is elegant. This restaurant is highly recommended.

17/09/2026: A truly wonderful experience is guaranteed. When your plate arrives, you immediately know that there's a passionate chef behind the stove. The menu is short because everything is genuinely homemade. For a reasonable price, you get cuisine that would cost twice as much elsewhere. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the service is professional. It's in restaurants like this that you realize 80% of French "restaurants" are simply focused on business without respecting their customers, instead of passionately serving them. +++ for the establishment, thank you to the whole team ❤️
