23/08/2024: I signed up in May to get here in August. The dishes are served very beautifully, but their taste is ordinary, I can’t say that it was very tasty. Looks a lot like an overly promoted place.

02/12/2024: We were a group of 20 people and we were made very welcome. The server is very kind, very patient and very professional. We had an excellent evening in a very festive atmosphere. 07/07/2025: Genuinely some of the worst food I’ve ever had. The food was almost pure fat and was very expensive. Was a very memorable meal for all the wrong reasons. Food took a long time to come (ordered the prefix menu). The service was extremely snobby and didn’t speak english. Somehow they couldn’t understand the google translate to french either and brought a well done piece of lamb when I asked for medium rare. Surprised they would let a dish like that leave the kitchen - don’t let the pictures fool you! Given the reputation of food in Lyon this was more than a disappointment and I’d go as far to say it was an embarrassment to the city. The only way it could have been worse is if I got food poisoned but thats impossible because nothing edible was served!

26/06/2025: It's impossible to miss its purple storefront, both elegant and unique, a foretaste of what awaits you inside. At Albert, the cuisine is refined, creative, and masterful, with dishes full of meaning and seasonality. The chef offers a personal and modern interpretation of the product, without ever overdoing it. An intimate atmosphere, attentive service, and true consistency from start to finish. A discreet gem in the 1st arrondissement... that fully deserves to be in the spotlight.

22/09/2024: This silky café-restaurant is welcome for us “brosse” pétanque licensees. In fact, the town hall must carry out major renovation work on the bowling alley. Except that it's been going on for over 2 years. Except that the town hall has nothing planned to REHOUSE us for the duration of the work. And we, the 217 licensees of the “pétanque brushes”, are on the street. So everyone does what they can. We are some of the brushes to have had the chance to know "the silk ball" where the boss welcomed us very well. The atmosphere seems very nice. We can indulge in our favorite sport of pétanque and incidentally be able to hit the box with a good, wild quibble. And I think we'll go for lunch a few times, the menu is nice and very affordable price-wise. Everything is included, wine and coffee for €17.50. We found our friend Michel Neuville there by chance.

28/01/2025: Excellent typical “bouchon lyonnais” it means very friendly and family atmosphere with excellent food. All that with tasty fresh food coupled with excellent quality price and service. Please note they are two services it means you can come from 19:00 to 21:00 or 21:00 to 23:00 but it is perfect as the meals are quickly served. Always hot and well cooked. Not a big restaurant, limited avails so it is better to book upfront otherwise it is very unlikely you’ll be able to be accepted. I recommend !

25/01/2025: Emblematic place to discover a Lyonnais cork. Old-fashioned setting. Small restaurant you must book in advance! Homemade and excellent dishes in good quantity. Servers available and adorable!

09/12/2024: La cuisine de ce bouchon est de qualité mais le vin servi au verre n'est pas à la hauteur de ce qu'on peut attendre d'un restaurant Lyonnais : variété proposée limitée à un beaujolais et un Côte du Rhône seulement. Quant au Côte du Rhône servi au verre, il ne mérite pas une AOP ni même une simple appellation "vin de table". Dommage!

23/09/2024: great little restaurant with a team that works hard both in the kitchen and in service. Kindness, love of good work! we are in Lyon and it shows: the dishes are copious and the menu at 36€ has a starter, cheese and dessert, however nothing is left to chance, each sauce is revisited by the chef, for more finesse, everything is cooked to perfection, meats like fish and vegetables. Everyone will find themselves there: gourmets, gourmands, lovers of traditional dishes as well as the most curious, and even those in a hurry because the service is very fast even when the restaurant is full! Well done young people! and thank you for this good Sunday with family that we had.
