25/09/2024: Simply magnificent! We went there last night for the new show and everything was perfect, the show, the artists, the servers, the organization and the meal was just perfect, good, beautiful and quality.
A big thank you to all the circus teams, you do an exceptional job. Well done everyone, we will come back with pleasure.

23/11/2024: La Gargotte s’est transformé en temple de la joie et de la gourmandise ! Sous la houlette du talentueux et chaleureux Yvan ! Un véritable magicien des saveurs et un ami délicieux et précieux ! Des plats aussi élégants qu’audacieux mêlés aux rires éclatants ! Une ambiance pétillante! La Gargotte est une écrin ou l’humanité se mêle à la générosité du chef ! L’amitié et le plaisir ont dîner , rit et dansé! Merci Yvan pour. Ton accueil toujours égal et ta cuisine généreuse et savoureuse !
17/11/2024: Nous sommes venus à 10… super repas!!!! Tout était soigné tant dans les saveurs que dans les présentations! Le patron charmant … le tout jeune serveur aux petits soins… si nous repassons un jour par Lyon nous reviendrons!!!!

12/12/2024: A pesar de no hablar francés, tuve una cálida recepción cuando entré. Aunque el restaurante estaba ocupado, recibí un buen servicio. Me las arreglé para pedir mi carne de su refrigerador especial. Tenía la médula ósea como aperitivo y encendieron un fuego en el hueso para el efecto adicional. La Rubia Gallega entrecôte se hizo perfectamente a medio raro. Mi hijo y yo estábamos tan llenos que estábamos muy satisfechos. Sin duda volveré de nuevo cuando visite Lyon.

A very nice discovery that is worth the detour!
23/08/2024: I signed up in May to get here in August. The dishes are served very beautifully, but their taste is ordinary, I can’t say that it was very tasty. Looks a lot like an overly promoted place.

The portions are generous like the chef's cuisine. I can't wait to come back and try other dishes on the menu.

20/09/2024: It's only been a few hours since we were on vacation and our first stop in the city of Clermont-Ferrand will remain in our memory! A restaurant we like: kindness of the team, generosity of dishes made in Auvergne! A real French restaurant! A big thank you to Chef Seb for this tasting. Hats off to the whole team, we will be back.

Excellente cuisine, carte régulièrement renouvelée et service très attentionné
Sans hesitation une des meilleures adresses de lyon.
Un point à préciser, nous avions un chèque cadeau qui nous avait été offert.
Ici, pas de choix imposé, pas de supplément masqué, on choisit ce que l on veut dans la carte, tout est clair !
De plus en indiquant le numéro de chèque cadeau dès la réservation, tout est enregistré,
Il ne reste plus qu à profiter du moment !
Donc pour offrir ou pour profiter d une des meilleures tables lyonnaises, c est une adresse incontournable !

Please note that it is open on a Sunday in Lyon during the Festival of Lights +++.
Very good quality-price compromise 45€ per menu (see photos).
The only downside is that the room is a little noisy.
06/12/2024: The reservation we had made a month ago has just been canceled by the restaurant. The latter has been trying for several days to obtain our bank card imprint. We will appreciate....

03/12/2024: This restaurant is a gem! Traditional Lyonnaise cuisine is delicious! You should know that it is one and the same person who cooks and serves, in short the boss does everything. Well done Sir, you delighted us and I only regret one thing: not having known you before even though I live not far away! I will obviously come back!

we are in Lyon and it shows: the dishes are copious and the menu at 36€ has a starter, cheese and dessert, however nothing is left to chance, each sauce is revisited by the chef, for more finesse, everything is cooked to perfection, meats like fish and vegetables. Everyone will find themselves there: gourmets, gourmands, lovers of traditional dishes as well as the most curious, and even those in a hurry because the service is very fast even when the restaurant is full! Well done young people! and thank you for this good Sunday with family that we had.

14/09/2024: Grumpy staff. Chicken was tough. Pasta was a just a lump of pasta served in a bowl with a mushroom sauce that didn’t taste like morelles. Ate quickly so we could get out of there

Beaucoup de petites attentions de la part du personnel très sympathique.
Nous avons dîné une pièce de bœuf délicieuse.
Ce soir là il y avait un anniversaire et l'ambiance était festive ce qui n'a pas manqué de nous divertir.
