18/02/2026: OMG, I never heard of this place before, how could I miss this. Have been in many places in Lyon, this one is in the top 10. Hospitality 1000% and the food was amazing, so well cooked and plated. Cozy atmosphere. TOP!

15/02/2026: A pleasant surprise, but... The dishes were truly excellent, with a delicious and generous foie gras starter, followed by perfectly cooked chuck roast and its accompaniments, delicately prepared fish, and finally, very high-quality desserts. Congratulations to the chef and his staff! But there was a "but"... Unfortunately, we encountered a service that day that was overwhelmed, or perhaps unaccustomed to the profession. Indeed, we sensed the young man who greeted us in the upstairs dining room was lost in his role. Taking our order was already difficult: "For an aperitif, we ordered two kirs, and the waiter only offered us blackcurrant kir, served in a digestif glass 🤔🤪, while a few minutes later another waiter was offering several flavors at the next table. Anyway... Then the starter arrived (perfect). We waited and waited and waited for the main course (about 45 minutes). We were completely forgotten, and after a while, we had to ask for it, and The same thing happened again with dessert, which somewhat spoiled the evening. We arrived first in the upstairs room at 8:30 pm and were the last to leave at 11:20 pm (for a starter, a main course, and a dessert). Of course, we politely mentioned it when paying, but there was no reaction or apology from anyone. It's a real shame, because, as I said, the food is truly excellent.

14/02/2026: What an incredible discovery! We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance… and wow! The welcome was exceptionally kind, warm, and genuine, making us feel instantly at home. And then there was the food… absolutely FABULOUS! 🤩 Refined, flavorful, creative, and perfectly executed dishes. Each bite is an explosion of taste, a true culinary journey. You can taste the passion and talent in every plate. Clearly a huge favorite, the very best! To be honest, I almost want to keep this wonderful place a secret… but it would be too unfair not to share it!

We were pleasantly surprised by the chef's visit to our table before we left to ask our opinion. If we return to Lyon, we will choose this bouillon restaurant without hesitation.

05/12/2025: The cuisine was of a very high standard: a delicious foie gras medallion, succulent veal short rib and potato mousseline, followed by a chocolate fondant.

28/02/2026: A delicious dinner featuring quality ingredients and sophisticated recipes, blending classic Lyonnaise dishes with more elaborate creations. The homemade touch is particularly evident in the andouillette sausage, which I highly recommend.

25/02/2026: Very warm welcome, excellent and typically Lyonnaise cuisine without being overrun by tourists and at an affordable price.

07/03/2026: I had a veggie burger, and it was very good (especially the cheese and the sauce). The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere, and the fries are good too! If I had any suggestions, the tomato slices are too thick, and it would be great to have a veggie patty in the burger (potato patty, fried vegetables, lentils... even a veggie burger like Happyvore's). It would give the veggie burger a bit more substance, and it would allow us to swap the patties in the other burgers for more meat-free options :)

21/02/2026: We arrived without a reservation, found the dining room small, but the owner was very welcoming and made room for us for five people, including a child. The menu is short, featuring well-prepared Lyonnais classics, and excellent value for money!

27/02/2026: Fantastic experience, excellent service, and delicious local cuisine. The portions were generous, and the quality/price/atmosphere ratio was excellent. As requested by the server, I ordered the pineapple-Tabasco juice.
