10/07/2025: Thank you, madam, who was kind. My son lost his ring in the toilet. We will come back. He found it and you are kind. We ate well. However, they asked me for rare, it was a little overcooked, but you are so kind that we will not hold it against you. See you soon.
10/07/2025: Don't ask for medium-rare food, or you'll end up with burnt-on soles.
The menu and atmosphere are a bit dated.

17/09/2024: Huge choice in this large Carrefour, a godsend. The shelves are always full and other world cultures are rather well represented with quite a few choices (Italy, Maghreb, Asia...). The checkouts are unfortunately rather slow with a huge number of people. The waiting time is extended whether in automatic or normal checkouts, which remains completely normal!

11/12/2024: I confirm the numerous comments regarding the boss who really has no human or relational sense. High self-esteem (we wonder why), rude, verbally aggressive (and almost physically if the opportunity arises). Unfortunately only one word to say: you are fired. This is the only way of salvation for this establishment...
17/09/2024: Very friendly and warm restaurant. The waiters very helpful and kind.
The daily menu was excellent with remarkable value for money.

15/09/2024: A super pleasant and friendly experience!! I rarely feel like I'm really being considered when I come to have a drink in good company in a place like a bar, but the Café du Gros Caillou has changed that! Helena and Vincent (the bartender) gave me a pleasant evening, are very efficient and professional with very good customer contact and make me want to come back to this friendly, well-located and warm place. I highly recommend it!

07/12/2024: A ÉVITER, entre la vaisselle qui n’est pas nettoyé correctement, les cuissons de la viande qui ne sont pas celle demandés, le prix des boissons qui sont pus que excessifs (6€ minimum pour du soft et 8€ le litre d’eau), les desserts qui nous sont servis sans avoir commandés et qui sont stockés dans le passage du hall d’entrée avec les gâteaux qui sont posés sur le dessus à l’air libre. Niveau hygiène c’est épouvantable. Qu’en au service, pas top mais compréhensible avec le nombre de couvert qu’il y a pour si peut de place dans le restaurant (tous les uns sur les autres). Pour en avoir fais d’autre sur le secteur allez voir ailleurs.

26/11/2024: Franchement très décue. Le service était lent au point ou nous avons laissé tomber de prendre un dessert, le repas très médiocre. J'avais demandé une table spéciale car notre était pour un anniversaire - la table était avec une vue sur les toilettes. Merci.
Repas VG ? Oui, on vous enlève les coquilles St Jacques du Risotto... ca ce n'est plus acceptable. Malheureusement décor refait - et à mon avis - horriblement bling.
Je n'y retournerai pas.
19/11/2024: Malgré une réservation effectuée des mois à l'avance, notre groupe de 9 personnes a dû attendre longtemps pour que la commande soit prise, et les boissons ont également tardé à arriver. Les plats ont été servis avec des oublis, et l'ambiance, attendue animée, était calme en raison des changements internes ( pas été informé à l'avance!) La serveuse avait réponse à tout et nous a fait sentir sa tension , bien que nombreuses, n'étaient pas satisfaisantes et entraînaient des attentes supplémentaires. De plus, aucune attention particulière n'a été accordée pour l'anniversaire, ce qui a contribué à une expérience jugée inacceptable par rapport à la réservation et au prix.

Not great French fries, cut to pieces, for a child, not great. A Cesar salad without cheese, 4 chicken nuggets, salad with large pieces of rib. Crossroads sauce. A Lyonnaise salad with bacon as big as your arm and even carouf sauce. The icing on the cake, an ice cream for the child. In an adult cup so above the child's head once placed on the table. And a hair in the cut.
In the end, very disappointed.

21/08/2024: Cuisine moyenne, le patron est un grossier personnage qui hurle et insulte ses employés (on l'entend à 100m avant d'arriver).
Gros monsieur qui fume et bois en cuisine (bonjour l'hygiène). Ne mérite pas de travailler, honte à lui pour son comportement vis à vis de son personnel.
17/08/2024: Très déçu,pourtant on a pour habitude de s’y arrêter lors de nos visites sur Lyon,cuisson des viandes vraiment à revoir !!(carboniser) les accompagnements fade,et gorger huile pour les frites,les desserts Bof,qu’elle dommage !!!!
