05/09/2026: Very disappointing. The pastry was tempting because it was pretty; I should have just kept looking at it. It had no taste and seemed stale. It's a real shame.

30/08/2026: I bought a flan, brownie, and cheesecake; they were all bland, and the cheesecake was the worst I've ever had. Absolutely incomparable to a real cheesecake; the taste and texture were completely indescribable.

05/09/2026: We often walk past it and had lunch there quite by chance this past Saturday. It was very good, the service was very friendly, and the back courtyard was lovely. I loved the frog legs; I'm a big fan and I don't remember ever having any so good! In short, a great place in Croix-Rousse! I highly recommend it.

29/08/2026: What a discovery! ...Attracted by the restaurant's facade and the owner's friendliness, we first visited this unusual place (you'll have to discover it for yourself!). Given the atmosphere and the delicious food, we decided to stay, and we didn't regret it in the slightest. Everything was top-notch, from the food to the service to the decor and the ambiance. Pure bliss! I highly recommend this restaurant.

29/06/2025: We had an unforgettable evening for my 50th birthday. We were in the separate section, which made for a very private dinner. The food was excellent; the pigeon and desserts were perfectly cooked. We received all the attention we could have wished for, nothing more, nothing less. A big thank you to Chef Mariller and his entire team.

03/09/2026: I'm giving it stars because the beer was good, despite the fact that it was complicated to order. Apparently, being on the terrace surrounding the bar, the waiter, who looked British, was all red, probably shy about taking our order despite our follow-ups. With a sly little smile, he told us he would come back in five to ten minutes, only to never return.

14/07/2026: A must-visit for bringing back delicious Lyon specialties! While passing through this shop in the Confluence shopping center, we found exactly what we were looking for to bring back some wonderful gourmet souvenirs. The Coussins de Lyon: We left with a lovely selection of these famous treats. In addition to the original version, which is excellent, we really enjoyed discovering the different fruit-flavored varieties. They're original, colorful, and delicious. The pralines: We also bought some very good pralines, another classic Lyon specialty that's a must-try and perfectly executed here. The shop: Ideally located in the shopping center, it's very clean, well-presented, and the staff is very welcoming. An excellent place to treat yourself or to give high-quality local specialties as gifts!

23/05/2026: Very good food. Creative menu. However not very friendly towards non natives. Not trying to explain or speak French slowly. However this seems to be part of the French experience everywhere in the country

24/04/2026: Why 3 stars when everything was so good? Simply because I left hungry! After dessert, and there were three of us saying exactly the same thing: we could have immediately ordered the entire meal again! Everything served was excellent, but the portions were so small that the dinner left a feeling of intense frustration. That's why I won't be returning to Jean Moulin, which is a shame. The dining room was extremely noisy; they urgently need to install ceiling-mounted sound systems like those found in many restaurants. €76 per person for five people, including two bottles of wine, a Badoit sparkling water, and a three-course meal (starter, main course, dessert, no cheese). The service was very friendly, if a little overwhelmed.

01/08/2026: We booked online only to find out when we arrived at the restaurant that it had closed... There was no information on the website, nor even at the restaurant itself; it was local residents who informed us... What a shame...

14/07/2026: We love the location, the menu, the quality of the meat, the delicious vegetables, the perfect portions, and the delicious bread. Excellent value for money. Shaded terrace. Little traffic.
