21/09/2024: Very charming place, very welcoming staff and excellent cuisine. We stopped by chance and we have absolutely no regrets!

18/09/2024: So it's a good discovery I had read good reviews on the Internet and last weekend we went there, very welcoming staff the waiter like the waitress with a smile and kindness to ask if everything was going well, the place is quite nice we ate outside there were small blankets available it was good because the weather was cool this evening. And for the kitchen, nothing to complain about, it was very good😋 small ravioli with porcini mushrooms and ravioli with reblochon topping. So a little bit of Savoie in Lyon is good. I highly recommend this restaurant. see you soon for a next reservation

01/09/2024: great spot to relax in the evening with friends over a drink, the cocktails are super good and fresh (recommendation: the Apple X is excellent), and the dishes are just as good, I recommend the chicken tenders, very crispy! special mention also to the super friendly waitress JADE, smiling and who always asks if everything is going well during the meal haha

30/08/2024: Très bon restaurant pour le midi entres collègues. Le service est très rapide (-15min) Le plat sont copieux et très bon. Le prix est raisonnable. Le personnel est très accueillant, souriant et toujours à votre écoute.

20/09/2024: We had dinner on August 22, 2024 in this Lyon restaurant, the day after its resumption after its summer closure. The experience did not live up to our expectations because we expected more from this promising restaurant, recommended by the Michelin guide. The summer menu, obviously very light, was definitely a little “short” with a very limited choice of options. Several alternatives were also accompanied by supplements, including on wine. So much so that they became almost essential for an already limited choice. If the cuisine remains of high quality and the service impeccable, it is clear that the resumption of activity has been done at a minimum with basic offerings, which do not live up to the restaurant's pretensions. The room being already half full in the middle of the week, we are right to question the relevance of such a minimalist menu... The restaurateur responded to this criticism with this argument: “We understand your remark regarding the limited choice of our menu. However, we would like to explain to you that this choice is deliberate and has been an integral part of our philosophy for 13 consecutive years now. Our objective has always been to favor quality over quantity, by offering a short menu but entirely composed of homemade dishes, from starters to desserts, even including our ice creams and sorbets. » We maintain our criticism. By invoking the freshness of the products to justify his minimalist menu, the restaurateur avoids the question posed. When in such a short menu, there are so many extras, we increase the bill, quietly and seemingly nothing. In fact, the bill came to 71 euros/person (wine included), an amount much higher than the basic menu displayed (45 euros). Moreover, the selection of wines recommended by the boss (45 euros) was curiously unavailable, and replaced by a much more expensive bottle (73 euros), a proposal that we obviously refused. Since our first exchange, the restaurateur kindly pointed out to us that the prices are displayed on his website. However, he did not see fit to update his website this summer 2024 and in fact, it was his winter menu that was displayed at the time of our reservation. A regrettable omission. An oversight, without a doubt.

26/08/2024: This was high level french classics. The Pate en Croute was excellent,as was the Lamb and Poulet. engaging service, wonderful local and history.

23/08/2024: An excellent time with my daughter yesterday, high quality products, mastered cuisine, in the literal sense of the term, intuitive service, special mention for the presentation of the Chartreuse Perfect dessert by the waitress, in short, a restaurant that I strongly recommends to lovers of authentic cuisine.

25/09/2024: Great time spent with a great team. The dishes are refined, generous and the wine accessible. I recommend this establishment for its decor and cleanliness. I will come back with my group.😎

13/09/2024: The B&B owner recommended this small restaurant that is said to have a history of more than a hundred years. The interior decoration is quaint and exquisite, the waitress is friendly and enthusiastic, and the service is very meticulous. It is no exaggeration to say that this is the best waiter I have encountered in Lyon. I ordered the local specialty Lyonnaise salad (salade lyonnaise) and the Andouillette. The latter was particularly amazing. It didn't have the offal smell mentioned online and was handled well. Highly recommended👍👍👍

25/07/2024: Aggressive and rude boss who hits cars parked in front of his bar in perfectly legitimate parking spaces or sits on them. Some drunk customers on the sidewalk are no better and contribute to this disrespect. Although the bar looks optically appealing, I strongly cancel.

10/07/2024: ⚠️TO FLEE⚠️ The atmosphere is sticky, plastic glasses, unpleasant or even malicious service, none of the equipment works (air conditioning, music, screens, etc.). Plus, the boss, the man in the hat already cited in many comments, is extremely aggressive. If the establishment does not put you off, its interventions and its inquisitive and unsympathetic presence will end up scaring you away.

03/12/2024: De bien belles assiettes aux associations recherchées pour un très bon rapport qualité prix (A l'exception des couteaux gratinés proposés ce soir là hors carte, et vraiment indignes d'une telle maison) Dommage que la lenteur du service et surtout l'accueil, au départ ampoulé et virant rapidement au méprisant, ait vraiment gâché ce qui s'annoncait comme une belle expérience culinaire.

15/11/2024: Le restaurant Thomas propose une carte succincte, bien élaborée et bien exécutée, avec des associations intéressantes qui fonctionnent. On déguste de bons produits frais, respectés et bien travaillés ! Service efficace et agréable. Attention toutefois à l'équilibre et à l'assaisonnement en sel, qui pour un même plat était pour une personne très peu salé (ce qui allait parfaitement pour le plat) et pour l'autre très salé ! Nous reviendrons avec enthousiasme à cette bonne adresse !

28/07/2024: J'ai demande a l'agent a l'hotel un adresse pour dejeuner dans le quartier. On m'a recommende Le Cafe Du Peintre. C'est un bouchon lyonnais connue. J'ai pris le menu de midi--tomates en des avec fines herbes et oignons, et un parmentier de lapin a l'estragon comme plat principal. Tres correct. Comme dessert j'ai pris des peches poche avec de la glace. Delicieux. J'espere revisiter.

12/07/2024: Meals on the terrace. We had lunch with 4 colleagues. All dishes were delicious. The crispy veal head is the best I've ever eaten. Efficient service. I will come back without hesitation.

22/07/2024: The food is very good overall. But it's really too expensive for relatively small portions (30 euros for a small fillet of beef) and 10 for a Lyonnaise salad. Honestly the quality is there but the price on the other hand... I think you can find just as good but at more reasonable prices in Lyon
