27/06/2026: It was well worth the trip down from the resort, a little gem in the valley, where I would definitely return! The service is attentive and the food is generous. A restaurant exactly the way I like it: warm and welcoming.

30/05/2026: It's becoming a habit, but we always happily return. The presentation and cooking are perfect, the menu doesn't change much, but every dish is worth the trip. Today, the terrace allowed us to fully appreciate the experience.

08/06/2026: Great atmosphere, very friendly waiter. The food is delicious, the daily special (starter + main course) is €16.50 near Aix-les-Bains. It seems unbeatable value for money.

24/05/2026: A wonderful discovery just before reaching the lake. Peaceful, with a very friendly waiter and simple yet hearty, homemade cuisine at a very reasonable price. What more could you ask for?

06/02/2026: We had a wonderful week at Black Diamond. Communication with the owner was excellent and fast. We were two families (12 people in total) and stayed in the beautiful and charming apartments The Penthouse and Faisan. There was also plenty of room for everyone to eat together in the Faisan apartment. You can ski right up to the apartment, and in the morning, you can walk (a short hill) to the ski lift. Vicky & Dani were on-site, and we could reach them all week with any questions. At the end of the day, a quick text message and 45 minutes later the sauna was on. And after skiing, we enjoyed a relaxing bubble bath in the jacuzzi. The groceries were already there when we arrived on the first day (you can order them online at Super U in Bourg-Sainte-Maurice; pick-up costs €50). And every day they brought fresh bread, croissants, and cappuccinos. A real treat!

05/02/2026: Had a fantastic stay here with my partner – highly recommend. Top-quality accommodation with stunning views, and brilliant concierge service from Dani and Vicky. I was in the spa most days (hot tubs and massages were a real treat!), and being able to ski right back to the terrace is such a bonus. Would definitely return!

05/07/2026: Excellent in terms of meat quality, cooking, accompanying sauces and, of course, the dauphine potatoes!

22/02/2026: We stopped at Faim de Loup for cheeseburgers — two for the kids and two for the adults. Delicious and good value, and the lady who served us was very friendly. We enjoyed sitting at a sunny table next to the snow. Highly recommended for a casual, tasty family meal!

04/12/2025: A friendly place, with staff who took the time to show us the different kinds of tea, letting us discover and smell them. We felt very comfortable there! The people were calm and serene.

21/04/2026: This is, for me, the best 1-Michelin-starred restaurant I've ever been to. I found everything excellent, especially the pork and the trompe-l'œil salad. The service is equally good, and the setting is lovely. The wine list is also interesting. It's not cheap, but the location and the overall quality make it well worth the price in my opinion. Just one minor point: some of the wine glasses had a musty rag smell (and I wasn't the only one at my table who thought so). However, it wasn't on all the glasses, so it's a small issue to address and check again.

06/04/2026: Very expensive for what it is. Got food poisoning from their food. The fries and music were good though. DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMENDED! They made a fuss about splitting the bill.

24/04/2026: A really nice little restaurant on the slopes, perfect for a snack with the kids. Crepes, hot chocolate, and beers for the adults. Great music mixing retro and current pop! Thanks for the warm welcome. Bonus: €2 off a hot drink and a muffin!

06/04/2026: A fantastic waiter who really knows how to please! The woman who seated us was incredibly unpleasant. We had a wonderful time on the terrace, which unfortunately had to be cut short; there wasn't time for dessert or coffee because they had to vacate the table quickly... It wouldn't have been a problem if we had been informed beforehand. The food itself was very good, though; it's just a shame that this woman was so rude.

18/04/2026: Service, food, and attention to detail, only surpassed by the beauty of the mountains it sits in. Fantastic stay in the final week of the season. Ski in and out and free bus service up and down the mountain. Staff were impeccable.

16/04/2026: Directly onto and off the ski slopes. Tasty breakfast. Friendly staff. Delicious evening buffet. Good value for money. Decent room. Free coffee, tea, and water. Beautiful view and terrace. Top-notch sauna and pool. The only minor downside is the lack of chargers for electric cars.
