21/04/2025: Nice atmosfere, great food, nice stuff and fine music. :)

18/04/2025: We entered the place thinking it would be your average mountain restaurant. Place was messy with bad music but we didn't think much of it. There wasn't one free table, which was fine, so we sat on a mound, not disturbing or harming anyone. We got our sandwiches out as we were going to buy some drinks thinking it would be fine as we would've given them business, and there was no signs saying we couldn't do this. Not even two seconds after getting them out a very rude man charged over to us and started shouting at us in french, very rudely. Told us to get away even though we were about to order drinks, and it's not even our fault that there isnt any tables to spare. Sat outside the restaurant with our sandwiches and sat by our skis whilst being rudely stared at. Terrible experience and i had to convince my dad not to bash the man's jaw in because he was being a right idiot. Not the first time this has happened looking at other reviews. 0/10 DO NOT GO HERE ITS NOT WORTH IT ABSOLUTELY OUTRAGEOUS!!!

14/02/2026: A very warm welcome, both from the fireplace and Karine's kindness. The food was excellent, homemade! Special mention for the lasagna and tiramisu which we loved (especially Gaspard 🙂).

18/11/2025: Karine's place is really great... the restaurant is a bit secluded on this main street, where other businesses have closed over time. Don't miss it! The dining room is welcoming, with a wood-burning stove that warms the place and creates a cozy atmosphere. They offer a single dish, homemade fries, and homemade dessert. Perfect... the price is reasonable for the area. We'll be back, thank you Karine! Everything is delicious and the service is quick.

13/02/2026: We discovered La Bergerie during our ski trip with friends, and what a wonderful surprise! From the very first day, we received a warm welcome from the owner, Lionel, who was incredibly kind and professional throughout the week. We ended up going back every lunchtime, and it's no coincidence! The service is impeccable: attentive, quick, and always with a smile. You really feel at home. As for the food, it was a real gem. The dishes are delicious, generous, and you can immediately tell that everything is homemade. The quality is exceptional; the ingredients are fresh and prepared with care. It's rare to find such a high-quality place in a ski resort. A big thank you to the whole team: Lionel, his wife, and the two other servers, all of whom were lovely and attentive. Thank you for your warm welcome and good humor, which made our lunches even more enjoyable. We highly recommend it and will definitely be back! Thank you for everything ❤️

13/02/2026: Incredible experience at La Bergerie in Val Cenis! The owner is fantastic, very welcoming and warm, and the whole team is lovely, smiling, and attentive. The atmosphere is friendly and you feel truly comfortable from beginning to end. The food is simply amazing: everything is homemade and you can taste it, quality ingredients, flavorful and generous dishes. We thoroughly enjoyed it! And what's more, the setting is magnificent with the surrounding mountains, a superb view that makes the experience even more enjoyable ✨ Perfect after a day of skiing 🎿

30/01/2026: I had lunch with a friend yesterday. The service was impeccable: clean, attentive, professional, and friendly. A special mention for the delicious rolls, which I adore, and the exquisite homemade desserts. A real treat! 🍰

29/01/2026: Traveling and on our way due to an emergency at 2am, we were recommended to call this hotel who has a 24/7 and thus night reception. The lady was lovely and helpful. Room was spacious and perfect. The hotel and surroundings are lovely.

10/12/2025: The welcome was friendly, however the raclette was served with one small piece of nitrite-treated cooked ham, one small piece of country ham, and one slice of low-quality sausage per person. Along with this came a small bowl of green salad with three pieces of tomato for two people.

03/01/2026: We came for the beef, but they're bothered by the fact that they cook it to the customer's liking; they think it takes too long, even though we're on vacation and have the time. Two rooms, two different atmospheres, unfortunately, the service isn't the same for all customers. Strangely enough, once you spend money, the smiles appear! The fondue was good but cloyingly salty by the end. You need to reserve a table to get a good one, otherwise you're in a draft and right in the middle of the servers' walkways.

20/08/2025: This is the best place in the valley, attentive and passionate service as ever - we would all like to keep this as our own secret - but it’s out there now!! The whole menu is great!!

28/01/2026: It's a shame to join groups like Wonderbox and then refuse bookings at certain times of the year… it's either accept it all the time or don't accept it at all. For reasons like that alone, I wouldn't go to this establishment, with or without Wonderbox.

19/01/2026: A mixed experience. The hotel entrance is poorly signposted and the surroundings are noisy, with a direct view of a busy road, which clearly detracts from the relaxing experience one expects from an establishment of this type. The spa lacks privacy due to its proximity to other guests, and the services offered are limited. The lack of sandals is regrettable. Massage appointments were listed as fully booked due to staff shortages, which is disappointing when you specifically reserve for these services. The restaurant is noisy and expensive considering the quality offered. Despite having a reservation, we had to wait for our table to be set, which was clearly not anticipated. Breakfast was also disappointing: limited selection, missing cutlery, a wait due to the coffee machine being updated, and cold scrambled eggs. Nothing particularly memorable or well-prepared. Overall, the experience falls short of the expectations raised by the hotel's presentation and positioning.

26/01/2026: The staff were very friendly, the decor was lovely, and we had a good meal with the children.

25/01/2026: Good pizza, and a very generous portion of fries. The takeaway order arrived on time. Impeccable.

01/02/2026: We have been here many times, usually in a large group. The views are spectacular and the service very good. However on the last two occasions some of the food was very average or poor. There was little concern from the staff when was pointed out in spite of the table having a very large bill. It seems to be trading on its reputation and some of the menu therefore very overpriced.

18/01/2026: Love this restaurant! My favourite in the area. Top class food, service. comfortable seating and facilities with amazing views of La Face, Le Fornet and far beyond. A little tricky to ski top for an intermediate skier (depending on conditions) but soo worth it! 10/10!!
