Moreover, the service was impeccable. The entire team was smiling, attentive, and very professional. It's truly a pleasure to be welcomed with such good cheer. 30/10/2025: It's always packed, and for good reason! The quality-to-price ratio is exceptional. Beyond the delicious flavors, the presentation is sophisticated and meticulous, whether it's for the à la carte dishes or the daily special. The staff are friendly and welcoming, which enhances the experience. If there are no tables available, don't hesitate to venture to the village of La Biolle, just a few minutes away, where the owner runs another restaurant, Winfizz, which is just as good!

27/11/2025: I discovered this restaurant during a professional training course. A roadside diner-style establishment, it combines a simple and typical setting, a warm welcome, traditional cuisine, and excellent value for money. A set menu of "starter, main course, cheese, and dessert" for under 20 euros! It's fantastic. The food is simple but good quality, the bread is fresh, and the restrooms are clean. I recommend it.

10/11/2025: I was looking for a restaurant during a visit to Vouglans. I stumbled upon La Française restaurant and had a wonderful meal. From the service to the food, I thoroughly enjoyed it. I highly recommend this restaurant for its authentic atmosphere and delicious, home-style cooking.

03/12/2025: Up on the hill, amidst the vineyards and overlooking the winding arms of the Rhône as it meanders through the valley, you can experience a truly magical gastronomic moment! Everything is beautiful and delicious, not to mention exquisitely refined! A suspended moment that owes as much to the kitchens (kudos to the chef!) as to the exceptionally attentive staff.

02/02/2026: We really enjoyed eating here during our trip. Firstly the staff are so lovely and the restaurant has a very warm/homely atmosphere. There was a wide variety of options to choose from / fair prices and the quality of the food was excellent - in particular the steak. The real winner for us were the desserts which were all amazing. Definitely coming here again!

16/02/2026: The staff were friendly, but the brunch offered on the third Sunday of the month was quite basic in terms of food. There weren't enough utensils to serve ourselves, so we had to use our fingers.... Overall, I was a bit disappointed, especially the small portions of dessert. I wasn't informed on the day I made my reservation that it would be brunch... which is a shame, as I had better memories of this restaurant.

01/02/2026: We booked the family room late at night after our flight was cancelled. The hotel staff were incredibly helpful getting us a taxi and welcoming us. Dinner on arrival was lovely even though it was 10pm the staff & kitchen were accommodating and friendly. A beautiful setting. The room was really spacious with 2 bedrooms and a lounge area. Gorgeous views. If you want corporate standard this hotel is not for you. If you want friendly, helpful, comfortable, traditional and quiet this is for you. A haven after a long travel day.

20/01/2026: The food was perfectly fine. However, the atmosphere was incredibly difficult to bear; I almost left before the end of the meal because it was so, so noisy. The loud music encouraged people to speak very loudly (mostly in English...). Add a bit of alcohol, and you have an atmosphere worthy of a schoolyard, kindergarten, or primary school, over 90 decibels. It was particularly unbearable; all you wanted was for the meal to end as quickly as possible.

20/01/2026: A great place for family dinners. Impeccable quality of food and service. The cuisine is generous, with perfectly executed French gastronomy. The atmosphere is cozy and the prices are reasonable for the resort. I highly recommend it.

06/04/2025: First the negative things: I think the only negative in that I gets quite warm inside. Positive things: The raclette was really delicious,the charcuterie as well and the menu had many different options, including a child-menu. The staff was really lovely too. They also have a bar with a terrace upstairs, which uses the raclette cheese if unfinished!

23/03/2025: First time to have dinner here and we had the most wonderful, locally authentic meal. Onion soup and Pierrade au Boeuf, the meat was simply delicious. Service was excellent and friendly, atmosphere was lovely. Highly recommend.

The menu offers simple yet satisfying dishes at excellent value. Special mention goes to the lovely selection of teas and coffees, which adds a touch of refinement to the meal. A place to recommend without hesitation!

26/06/2025: I was staying at a nearby farm with a host who wanted to show me local food, but things were generally closed because there were no tourists. He took me here and I had one of the best meals of my entire month in France. Small community where the locals know each other, and they were in league to load me up with fondue, wine, and génépi. I bet after a day of skiing I would've fallen asleep on the table. As it was, I needed to hang on extra tight on the moto ride home.

06/02/2025: A ritual for us, each year the fondue is unmissable. Local atmosphere always pleasant and friendly. I highly recommend.
