04/09/2024: Nous avons dîné au restaurant Les Lauzes parce qu'il était à proximité de notre logement. L'ensemble des plats goûtés était bon, à prix raisonnable. L'accueil et le service ont été très appréciés et ont été réalisés par une équipe serviable, dynamique et agréable. Bref, un restaurant bien sympathique.

26/08/2024: We spent a week in Valmenier where Les Lauzes gradually became our canteen 😉. We started on the terrace with a good regional pint and ended several times with meals.... Raclette, fondue, all-you-can-eat tartiflette evening and others. The dishes are generous with good value for money for the place, the desserts are excellent including the pistachio crème brûlée. Géraldine and Remi take great care and provide good advice for nearby activities. I recommend this bar / restaurant you will not be disappointed. And thank you to Géraldine and Rémi for the welcome, advice and sympathy, good luck to you and see you next year 😉

09/12/2025: I simply introduced myself to wash my hands, something a very friendly gentleman allowed me to do, and upon leaving I was practically chased away like an insect when a "woman," or at least someone who looked like one, asked me, "WHO ARE YOU???" as if I were about to rob her bar. A very strange and disrespectful welcome, but I have a pretty good idea why I was greeted that way... ^^

06/12/2025: A marvel! A particularly warm welcome. Extremely attentive and meticulous service; genuine kindness. Each dish delights the eyes with its exquisite presentation and enchants all the senses with its succulence. The portions are generous. The decor is magnificent; the dining room is very spacious and truly bright. Photos: Poached egg in red wine, pan-fried mushrooms and country bacon, meat jus. Pollock fillet with a creamy herb broth. Chocolate fondant. The poaching of the egg. Sylvie delicately pairs the egg and the wine. This perfect union creates the sweetest sensation on the palates of every captivated and delighted guest. 24/07/2025: It's been a long time since I've been there, but that hasn't changed. The food is still delicious, the service impeccable. It's a shame the weather wasn't good enough to eat outside. But we can't help that. The owners are welcoming, we had a good chat. You can go there with your eyes closed.

27/08/2024: Very good table in a quiet and spacious place. We enjoyed the dishes on the menu "from sources to roots" from start to finish, with particular mention for the arctic char and the pigeon supreme. Thank you to chef Benoit Vidal for his expertise in refined cuisine, and his humility observed during his visit at the end of the meal. A small improvement could be in the level of service where we found the sommelier not very eloquent on the choice of wines, leaving us "a little alone" faced with a plethoric list of wines without any real force of suggestion for the guests who do not take food and wine pairing...

18/09/2025: Logis Hôtel du Crêt Rond – Review 🚴‍♂️ Location: Fantastically situated between the legendary Col du Galibier and the Col du Télégraphe – a perfect starting point for ambitious road cyclists and mountain lovers. Directly on the Route des Grandes Alpes, quiet and close to nature. 🍳 Breakfast & Restaurant: The breakfast is plentiful, fresh, and flavorful – ideal for a pre-tour refueling. The hotel's own restaurant impresses with excellent cuisine and regional quality. A real treat after a long day in the saddle. 😊 Service & Hospitality: The friendliness of the staff is particularly noteworthy. Additional requests, such as an extra blanket, were met promptly and easily – you feel welcome and well looked after here. 🛏️ Rooms: The rooms are rather small and rustically furnished, but very clean and well-maintained. Those who appreciate cozy and authentic surroundings will feel at home. The wood paneling gives the hotel an alpine charm. ✅ Conclusion: A family-run hotel with an excellent location for active athletes and nature lovers. Friendly service, excellent food, and an atmosphere that invites you to return. A real insider tip for road cyclists.

16/09/2025: Very quiet, clean, comfortable. The food is of good quality and the breakfast offers a very varied buffet. Very well located for those who want to hike and especially go around Mount Thabor. Highly recommended!!!
