22/08/2026: A well-hidden gem of a restaurant, but it's definitely worth venturing inside. A welcoming duo, both in the dining room and the kitchen. The galettes and crêpes are incredibly generous (truly unbeatable value for money)! A real taste of Brittany in Savoy! Highly recommended!

11/08/2026: A very good restaurant; the Savoyard salad was excellent, well-composed with varied and delightful flavors. The caramel crepe was delicious, neither too light nor too heavy, perfect for hikers about to hit the trails. The caramel was perfect in every way. The staff is welcoming, friendly, and helpful.

10/08/2026: We stumbled upon this place while following the signs on the hiking trail. We took a perfect break at this mountain restaurant; we enjoyed a delicious meal, a warm welcome, excellent cuisine, and a splendid view of a glacier (whose name I've forgotten). We left feeling refreshed, motivated, and in good spirits, with fond memories of a lovely spot.

13/08/2026: A superb experience at this mountain restaurant. The owners were very welcoming. The portions are very generous. It's well worth taking the cable car to eat there or stopping by during a hike.

22/08/2026: Not convinced, there was a mistake in the name of the starter, the dishes were dry with defrosted vegetables (even though it's summer…), and the crème brûlée for dessert was literally burnt. They did, however, offer to remake it, which was very kind. Perhaps an isolated incident, but quite disappointing.

19/08/2026: A wonderful evening, a delicious homemade meal: baked egg with chanterelles, scallops on a bed of baby vegetables, Arctic char, pavlola, blueberry tart—everything was excellent. We also greatly appreciated the warm welcome, the service, and the decor. Thank you again for this very enjoyable time.

23/07/2026: This place is an absolute find in the small village of Beaufort. The rooms were simple but quite comfortable, they have parking for motorbikes on site and a garage for bicycles. The bar area and terrace are a highlight, they have craft beer and a cozy atmosphere. Very warm and inviting place.

25/07/2026: My opinion will differ from the previous ones. Two problems: the wait between courses was far too long, and even though the food was generally good, the dishes were inconsistent. This was our second visit. The first time, we waited 40 minutes between the appetizer and the main course. The appetizer, and especially the dessert, were very good; the main course was good but unremarkable. We decided to try again. Today, we spent more time waiting than enjoying our meals. 45 minutes between each course. Seriously? A very good appetizer, a good main course, and a mediocre dessert. When we mentioned the wait between the appetizer and the main course, the waitress told us that the chef was working alone and that plates were cleared only when he decided to bring the next course. So, apparently, the customer is subject to the restaurant's organization, and that's considered normal. Well... Yet, after waiting 20 minutes between the main course and dessert, when our plates were finally taken away, and after a glimmer of hope that our dishes would arrive, we waited another 25 minutes... for a dessert where the panna cotta seemed nonexistent and another where the peach and goat cheese combination was missing... 45 minutes for that... in fact, the other dishes were prioritized... at the expense of ours, for a very mediocre result. What a disappointment! And all this, despite apologies and an acknowledgment of the slightly long wait, only to be told that this never happens (well, it did happen to us the first time too), that it's also part of the restaurant experience for them... well, the customer isn't there to have this kind of experience where the chef plays his part without considering the clientele, which is approved by the dining room, and all this for nearly 200 euros without even a gesture of goodwill, a complimentary coffee or tea, or a drink. It's very poor. And all this in a noisy room. But since the restaurant is packed, three dissatisfied customers who might not return are apparently not a problem. Our second visit will therefore be our last. We'd much rather try La Grande Ourse.

19/07/2026: What can I say except that the food is 100% homemade and fresh? A truly excellent restaurant, from the steak frites on the children's menu with a real ground beef patty and delicious homemade fries, to two delectable Savoyard pizzas with sublime flavors. And the Reblochon cheese? It was so creamy and delicious, it was like eating pure cream. For dessert, a fresh fruit cup with a scoop of ice cream (really fresh fruit cut on-site). Obviously, if you're looking for a sterile, lifeless restaurant where the food is perfectly arranged on the plate, standardized and tasteless, then this isn't the place for you. The owner seems to be a person of character, truly passionate about good ingredients and respectful of people who appreciate good food. I highly recommend this restaurant.

08/07/2026: The pizzas were good, but extremely sparse in toppings. Our pizzas were practically empty, with only about one slice of ham cut into four pieces per pizza, which wasn't very filling and meant some slices were just tomato sauce. The crust was also incredibly thin. Overall, this was far from what one would expect given the price: €45 for three pizzas. I only gave it three stars because the friendliness of the staff somewhat compensated for the glaring lack of toppings.

29/08/2026: Excellent Savoyard cuisine. The setting and atmosphere are on par with the location. The service is top-notch and very welcoming.

25/08/2026: We've been coming here for five years. A superb Savoyard chalet, beautifully decorated. The food is excellent and plentiful. We all work together as a family, in a very thoughtful way. Even the handsome blue-eyed dog gives it his all. Occasionally there are rock concerts and the lovely cat meowing from the balcony ;) The good life.

20/08/2026: A truly pleasant experience at Les Halles. The food is excellent, carefully prepared, and served promptly; the staff is attentive and friendly without ever being intrusive. The venue itself is also worth a visit: a beautiful setting, meticulous attention to detail, and an atmosphere that invites you to linger.

24/08/2026: A flawless experience from start to finish! The welcome was perfect from the moment we arrived. We began with a very good walnut wine as an aperitif. The food was a delight: the foie gras and salad starter were excellent, the whitefish and vegetables simply delicious—all perfectly complemented by a bottle of local white wine. The raspberry dessert with its coulis was the perfect ending to the meal. A truly wonderful place; I highly recommend it!

26/08/2026: Arriving at the end of the season, on foot, alone, it was an enchanting interlude. Places like this are much needed. The hosts were generous, with a family atmosphere, helpful, and offered a mountain view from a perfectly situated terrace. A magnificent location. I don't know what it's like in winter, but in summer it was fantastic. I will be back. Thank you.

16/08/2026: We were there this weekend for a family event. We spent two nights in the gîte and the event was held in the restaurant. The rooms were very clean, and there was an accessible room for people with reduced mobility. The showers and toilets were also very clean. The gîte had a large room with a kitchen and a magnificent view 😍 In the restaurant, the Saturday evening meal prepared by the team was truly delicious. The very large room allowed us to have 70 guests and a dance floor. The sound system was excellent, with the option to synchronize the music. Finally, let's talk about the team: they were very friendly and welcoming! They were always there to help us when needed and met all our expectations. The team is truly dynamic and always smiling. A huge thank you again to them for a wonderful weekend! We're now planning a trip back to visit them.
