20/08/2026: Warm welcome, generous portions for the price, very good food, fast service

08/08/2026: The opening hours shown on Maps are incorrect; the hut was closed. If the hut updated its opening hours just two weeks ago, that shouldn't be the case…

19/08/2026: It was a very disappointing experience, let me explain. We were a table of 8. 1) €3.30 for an extra 3cl of Aperol (on top of the already exorbitant price for the quantity/price, and the staff were incredibly condescending). 2) The service was in a terrible mood (thankfully the young waitresses improved things, so kudos to them). 3) Tourists from the south: Forget your accent because you'll be treated very condescendingly. We got that very direct feedback. 4) Mussels and fries: Small mussels, normally unsellable, with a sauce that was practically at the bottom of the dish, no cream, and a lot of water. 5) It was extremely difficult to get a receipt. It's a real shame.

17/08/2026: Authentic restaurant with a real chef. Everything homemade. The young waitresses are super attentive and friendly (they speak English, a bonus for my in-laws 😅).

03/03/2026: A huge thank you to the entire team at Mont Charvin. They were very accommodating in finding us a solution (we had made a mistake with our booking dates). A wonderful welcome, a very comfortable and beautifully decorated room, a generous and delicious breakfast, and a spa that everyone loved. I highly recommend it! Thanks again to the whole team and to Caroline. We will be back!

31/03/2026: A wonderful stay at Emilie's! A comfortable hotel, superbly located, and well-maintained. The staff were very attentive to guests; I loved it.

14/03/2026: Stay at La Clé des Champs / Gîte du Moulin de Marie as part of a UCPA training course. A wonderful welcome, comfortable rooms, a generous breakfast with fresh, local products and homemade yogurt, and delicious dinners. Located a little below the ski slopes, but in a quiet and charming area with a small chapel nearby. The owner and her family are fantastic! Highly recommended.

24/08/2026: I ate there with my friends and we had a wonderful time! 🥰 A very warm welcome, a friendly atmosphere, and delicious food. Everything was perfect, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! A truly great place, I recommend it 100% and we'll definitely be back!

15/04/2026: Fabulous Hotel, Staff, Location and food!. I have been coming to this hotel for 4 years now with my children and brother. Hotel is 20m from the piste and 100m from Mottaret centre, literally the perfect location. The staff are fantastic and always available and willing to help no matter what the request, including putting up with endless requests for hot chocolate (with cream and marsh mellows) from the poor bar stuff, thank so much for your patience! There is no other hotel we would even consider in Meribel. Thank you Katie for always being so welcoming and lovely. Your hotel feels like a home from home. Will see you next season of course 😉

26/08/2026: A beautiful restaurant in an enchanting setting! Impeccable service and excellent quality food! The children's menus are delicious (homemade hamburgers and fries). I had the crushed tomatoes and trout, a real treat! And the pool is a great place to cool off after your meal before finishing with coffee and dessert (a very nice selection!). In short, a superb experience for our whole group (5 adults and 4 children), thank you to the entire team!

11/07/2026: Following some recommendations, we booked a table for a fondue. The lady who runs the place was very kind and helpful! The fondue was absolutely delicious, better than those in the surrounding restaurants. We'll definitely be back!

22/06/2026: On the recommendation of locals, we had dinner at this café/tabac. We've never eaten such a delicious fondue, despite the heatwave! Josette is incredibly kind and attentive, and the place is a must-visit in Albiez-Montrond.

30/07/2026: I made a reservation in March for my birthday in July 2026, but to my surprise, a month before the date, they offered me a menu that didn't meet my expectations: puff pastry, chuck roast, mashed potatoes, carrots, and peas! Well, no. I wanted something a bit lighter... The head chef refused to offer me an alternative. I was very disappointed with the restaurant's behavior. So I hired a caterer, and frankly, my guests left with big smiles. Ladies, you should change careers quickly. A word to the wise. MjR
