22/01/2026: 5 adults + dog January 2018 in a 2-bedroom apartment with a sofa bed in the living room - laundry was manageable (no other apartment was available at the time). January 2026 in a 3-bedroom apartment (also with a sofa bed in the living room) = highly recommended! Staff changed - everyone was super friendly! Delicious bread service for breakfast (order before 8 p.m. = fresh bread delivered to your door in the morning) All facilities available, including a cozy outdoor terrace by the slopes. Ski in/out - probably a bit too challenging for true beginners (especially downhill from the hotel). Definitely worth repeating - thanks a million! 👍

21/04/2025: Excellent restaurant and super friendly staff. We were there for the end of the ski season and not much was open in town so we went to Le Rastro all three days of our stay. They have an amazing terrace in the sun too a f great food (try the pizza!). We celebrated the end of the season with them and hope to be back soon!

Being insulted and humiliated in front of the entire restaurant because my son (a scientist and engineer, not a linguist) had made the mistake of not being seated (no waiter was there when I arrived). We were then offered a table, which I refused. Was I going to pay for this humiliation? I can speak French, and I do try, but I remained completely speechless, regardless of the language. Not foreigner friendly. 29/01/2026: This place deserves 5 stars! Amazing food and reasonably priced. The staff is very friendly. The atmosphere is like you stepped into a family restaurant, the place doesn't have this commercial vibe like many others around.

30/12/2025: We had our eye on this restaurant for several years, thanks to excellent reviews and a full reservation more than a month in advance. So we went there for Christmas Eve with high expectations… but the experience was quite disappointing. First of all, despite the Christmas Eve theme, nothing evoked the festive atmosphere: no little touches, not even an amuse-bouche. Instead, just dry biscuits, which is a real shame for an evening that was supposed to be special. The tartiflettes were clearly lacking in flavor: you could barely taste the potato, and the accompaniments were very minimal (two gherkins and two slices of cured ham, which didn't seem to be country ham). The fondue was decent but nothing special. I ordered a tartine with potatoes and melted cheese, but the bread was stale: even toasted, the crust shouldn't be that hard. For dessert, we opted for ice cream rather than the desserts advertised as homemade, as the rest of the meal didn't inspire us to continue. So, a mixed experience, especially considering the restaurant's reputation and the Christmas Eve setting. There are clearly better options. And apparently, the owner is acting in bad faith, as he doesn't accept criticism. I should mention that I didn't initially point out the pizza, which was aesthetically disgusting, and not even the one I ordered… In short, a series of horrors; I absolutely do not recommend it. We've been coming here for five years, and we'd never been to this restaurant before, and we were right not to! When I mentioned it to the locals, they indeed advised me against going because the ingredients aren't good. As for the Génépi, wow, what an achievement! Every time we pay the bill somewhere, we get a free drink… As for malice, there isn't any; criticism is constructive, and some people are better at it than others.

06/11/2025: We stayed one night while passing through. The hotel is conveniently located and easily accessible from the motorway. We received a very friendly welcome. The free parking lot opposite the hotel was ideal for us, and we were also able to park our bicycles there. The room was very comfortable and clean. We slept very well. Unfortunately, we had to continue our journey; otherwise, we would have gladly stayed another night and explored the town.

10/01/2026: Great restaurant, very welcoming and flexible staff. We were 150 students stuck in a gymnasium without food, and the restaurant welcomed us with open arms at 1:30 am and fed us, even though the kitchen closed at 10 pm.

07/09/2025: The cheese crust!! I'm choosing my words carefully: it's my greatest culinary discovery of 2025. Bliss, generosity, and deliciousness... Just thinking about it makes me want to return to the pass to relive this moment. And as for the setting: magnificent! We ate on the terrace in the summer and it was simply perfect. The service was also excellent, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
