19/03/2026: Restaurant at the Col de la Madeleine…a beautiful terrace with views of Mont Blanc on one side and the Maurienne mountains with their iconic peaks on the other! Excellent cuisine, I highly recommend the cheese tart! Delicious homemade desserts! Super warm welcome…Great team! I love it!!!!

03/03/2026: Excellent place 🩷 The food is delicious, the fondue was excellent! The staff is fantastic; if you go on Tuesday or Sunday, you'll have the chance to be served by a super friendly hostess who will make your meal even more enjoyable.

28/03/2025: The owner and her colleague are very kind! The service was very good. The classic dishes are a little more expensive than elsewhere, but the products are also better, so it's normal. The dessert menu is original and very good!

22/03/2026: A timeless moment, a hushed and welcoming atmosphere, attentive and incredibly kind staff. The setting is remarkable, the restaurant offers a variety of dishes of exceptional quality (scallops, truffle mashed potatoes, a dazzling array of desserts…). Hair salon, gym, swimming pool… a truly dreamy experience

06/11/2025: We stayed one night while passing through. The hotel is conveniently located and easily accessible from the motorway. We received a very friendly welcome. The free parking lot opposite the hotel was ideal for us, and we were also able to park our bicycles there. The room was very comfortable and clean. We slept very well. Unfortunately, we had to continue our journey; otherwise, we would have gladly stayed another night and explored the town.

11/10/2025: Since there were a lot of people at the table, we were forced to eat a simplified menu (slate) and therefore prices that may not suit all budgets. We were not able to have access to the daily special or the restaurant's burger. Other than that, the meal was very good but the bill was bitter.

22/03/2026: Despite the crowd, we received a very warm welcome and had a drink at the bar while waiting for a table. We ended up spending three hours in this bar/restaurant, which was much more pleasant than being stuck in traffic on the way back from skiing.

25/03/2026: La Bouitte has been a huge favorite of ours during our getaways over the past few years. La Bouitte embodies the art of living, of hospitality, of being fully present in the moment. Everything is perfect: the house is so warm and tastefully designed, the staff is incredibly kind, the Meilleur family is so attentive and approachable, and the restaurant was, for us, the best we've ever experienced. The raw ingredients are so expertly prepared that they give you goosebumps, a return to the essentials on the plate—what a wonderful evening! We rarely return to hotels we've already stayed in because we love discovering new places, but we will certainly be returning to La Bouitte again and again in the coming months because we dream about it every day! 23/03/2026: I had the opportunity to dine at their restaurant. A lot of hype for very little. Uninteresting dishes. You feel ripped off. Doesn't deserve a star!!! My worst Michelin-starred experience.

14/03/2026: Breakfast buffet was more than adequate to get the day started: coffee machine that makes lattes, selection of fruits, yogurt, granola. Eggs, bacon, and sausages. Plenty of french butter. Dinner was spectacular, gourmet french food every night with good protein, vegetables (Braised leg of lamb, bok choy, some pea soup; Plancha duck, turnips; mashed potatoes and skirt steak, fish and some vegetables; and on your last evening it's fondue, and salad); dessert is also great with some mousse, lava cake, pavlova. Service is excellent, staff from reception Carol is warm and welcoming. The staff at the dining area Marcel, Justine, Michell are great hosts, attentive and accomodating. Very happy with my stay. The shower is adequate with hot water/ cold water in the shower. The bed is ok, i definitely wish they had bigger/ thicker pillows as the ones in my room were definitely flat. I kept my balcony door open for fresh / cooler mountain air at night. The rooms are generally quiet, the main source of noise i found was the plumbing which can be distracting. I kept earplugs on at night and that was enough to help me get restful sleep. The Olympic gondola is about a 7 minute walk from the hotel. The ski and boot storage facility of the hotel is readily available so you dont have to pay extra to store them elsewhere if you dont mind carrying them. Overall, i think it is excellent value in the region considering the food and service at an affordable price. I would happily go back! Only thing to note is that the Gondola is about a 25 minute ride to Meribel center. It is generally reliable, though in case of a breakdown, the resort sends a bus to take you from Brides les Bains to Meribel.

27/02/2026: Intestinal worms in my fish. It was horrifying; I'm still getting chills eight hours later. The cook didn't even apologize, just justified it by saying, "They're just intestinal worms." Basically, I'm nitpicking. Thanks a lot. And as a gesture of goodwill, they didn't charge us for the main course from the set menu, but only the starter and dessert at the individual price, a €7 discount plus the coffees. I'm frankly disgusted.

29/10/2025: A truly wonderful discovery! The atmosphere and service are absolutely top-notch. The team, like the owner, is cheerful, attentive, and always goes the extra mile. The menu offers simple yet satisfying dishes at excellent value. Special mention goes to the lovely selection of teas and coffees, which adds a touch of refinement to the meal. A place to recommend without hesitation!

27/03/2026: Good food, the Savoriana cheese fondue is certainly much better than the one we had earlier at La Rosière. The manager is a personality in himself. He makes the atmosphere even better.

13/03/2026: A small dinner with friends; we ate very well. The owner is typical of the locals, a Savoyard. I love it! The setting is pleasant and the service is friendly.

20/03/2026: After the first visit ,I came here 2 more times. The wine list is impressive, but being alone I stuck to wines by the glass. The service from Camille was commensurate with the wine list – exceptional. I was greeted each time in a friendly and professional manner. Everyone spoke beautiful English, but I’m sure that my experience would’ve been even better (if that’s possible ) if I spoke French. The charcuterie board was artfully laid out, and the burrata salad and roasted vegetables excellent. I wish I was here longer to experience more of the menu . Highly recommend.

11/03/2026: A delightful time shared with friends who are regulars. We enjoyed a tasting of a very good St. Joseph Gripa, recommended by the owner. The shared meal was fabulously delicious. We'll be back to treat ourselves again.
