18/11/2025: Avoid this place as it's more than mediocre.

16/11/2025: Extremely disappointing experience. I was a guest and didn't comment so as not to embarrass my host, but: Overpriced wines: €8.50 for a fruity Italian wine by the glass with no appellation, and over €40 for a bottle of basic Gamay. Regarding the vegetarian dish, "you have to trust the chef." This was translated 15 minutes before service, and he didn't know what he was going to send. I ended up with a slice of roasted squash, a side dish, for a menu costing over €38. The desserts were advertised as homemade, but they probably weren't; otherwise, how could a chocolate fondant arrive cold? Not to mention the dog in the kitchen entrance... Truly far from the hygiene standards of the industry. Despite the good intentions of the staff, it just wasn't good enough. Nothing lived up to the prices, despite the promising setting... It's time to rethink your positioning or change chefs.

04/11/2025: Great time with the family, we were right to arrive early. The meal was perfectly fine, the desserts were nothing special.

01/11/2025: Stopped by several times for a coffee or a drink, small platters... alone, with family, or for a business meeting. After several years, I've concluded: a lot of turnover, very young servers, probably paid a pittance according to the pay scale, and the same managers rotating through the chain's establishments (you rarely see them in the dining room, not even during rush hour). In short, the recipe for toxic, cushy management that damages the city's reputation, and which should be replaced by people passionate about their work and who know how to run a business. And also, probably, they should pay them properly to avoid driving away their staff and discouraging young people from this wonderful profession. I recently remember a young woman, Lola, I think, who deserves to be a manager. Quick, professional, smiling, but stressed. You can feel the stress of the servers and the difficulties they face. People clearly come here for the setting, the proximity to the Parc Floral. It's magnificent. So it's justified on the bill, nothing shocking. BUT, the staff is underpaid and exploited. There are long delays between The moment we were seated, the moment our order was taken, and then we were served—even during quiet periods. But during rush hour, it's terrible. Every time, it saddened me to see the waitresses (and sometimes waiters) running around in all directions, left alone when people arrived in groups, without time to clear and clean the tables, constantly being called away. And with no colleagues coming to help, they had to deal with the discontent of customers who had the wrong people. I know I won't return to any of the Epikur group's establishments until the management changes. And I advise both locals and tourists against it. One of the few quality restaurants, L'Estrade, has closed; we won't find that same quality at La Rotonde, even though it has everything to be an exceptional establishment because of its location. A huge waste.

24/08/2024: Very good restaurant with quality bistronomic cuisine, impeccable service, a warm Savoyard atmosphere. We had a lot of fun talking with the owner about the region and its gourmet products! 👍 We will come back for sure 😉👌 Good luck to the whole team and an excellent end of the season to you. 24/08/2024: The service is sometimes a little long but this is explained by the fact that the owners do not refuse any holidaymakers... excellent meals made with pleasure and love of the land, explanations on the meals, always smiling waitresses and in addition moments friendly in the evening with the different themes offered... in short, having eaten there (both in the restaurant, the pizzas to take, and the bakery) for us nothing to complain about, it was perfect!

09/01/2025: Incredible food, super friendly staff, and an incredibly tasty vegan Pizza (a rare find in France)! Would definitely recommend, and I'm sure I'll be back.

04/01/2025: We came at 8 p.m. with a reservation for 14 people. After an hour and a half we still haven't received our order. You will die of hunger in this restaurant. Not recommended.

19/04/2025: Having paid €90 for drinks is it unreasonable to ask for a carafe of water? Apparently yes, you have to pay for bottled water. Since January 1, 2022, a new anti-waste law has come into force. This text of law stipulates that catering establishments and drinking establishments (cafes, bars, etc.) have the obligation to offer a free carafe of drinking water to their customers, however, to accompany a drink.

01/04/2025: Very enjoyable evening. Very Alpine with fondues, tartiflette etc dominating the menu. Rustic setting. Very friendly service. Only point for improvement was that almost half of the wine list had been struck through - but maybe this reflects the late point of the season and they only refresh wine stocks at the start. Would recommend!

26/05/2025: The sushi was of good quality and we were satisfied with the service.

15/04/2025: Argentinian meat — to die for. And the strawberry sea bass ceviche… a real favorite, I highly recommend it! The atmosphere in the evening is super pleasant, relaxed, with a really talented singer. A big thank you to Sophie, François and their entire team!

13/08/2024: Very nice holiday address in this region. Generous and very good dishes. For my part I had mussels (a classic) but the seasonings gave a very good taste. Small concert as a bonus, it was friendly. The servers are of impeccable professionalism: responsive and pleasant. THANKS

17/12/2024: Their menu is not up to date, on this one there are cocktails with alcohol. So I order an alcoholic cocktail and the waitress brings me another one. So I tell her that it's not the one ordered, and then she tells me "they don't have the license to sell alcohol" Pre-warning can be nice too.

14/12/2024: Good evening, We have come several times in the past, we had excellent memories of it, the restaurant is always full, great food and very friendly waiters! This evening the waiter is pleasant but the quality of the food is very very poor and the restaurant is not very busy, which says a lot... Disappointed by our move to Zinc, you have just lost customers and gained future bad publicity!

03/05/2025: Lovely tent on the way to the Dutchweek tent. Always pleasantly busy and the TV is always on with sports. The service is very friendly and fast. The food is excellent, especially for the price and the crepes are especially delicious (recommended: Québécoise crepe!).

21/11/2024: La Marmotte is traditional Savoyard cuisine of good quality, with a superb welcome which will be reserved for you by Evelyne & Allan, I highly recommend it. The natural or porcini mushroom fondue accompanied by excellent, abundant cold meats without forgetting the egg and kirch at the end will delight your taste buds. Burgers are also a real specialty 😋 Also note that the pizzas are to take away. A real wood fire in the main room will warm you up and create a unique atmosphere. The terrace covered with two bioclimatic pergolas equipped with side blinds will give you significant comfort.

24/09/2024: Dinner Friday September 20. Out of 6 people, 3 were sick. The cause? The meat of Beef Tataki and Crying Tiger. How is this possible after so much attention, what if someone had any allergies, we ask, etc...? Not to mention that this tasteless fusion cuisine was really not good. Too bad because the place had charm and the owner was attentive.

10/12/2024: La cuisine est pas mal mais les portions sont ridicules : une petite dizaine de raviolis minuscules, même en les coupant en deux et en mangeant tout le pain (sec), ça ne fait pas assez. Quatre à la part de tarte en dessert, elle avait dû être coupée en trois. Bref, nous sommes ressortis la faim au ventre. Nous n'y retournerons pas.

10/10/2024: Très bon restaurant, du burger, à la boîte chaude, en passant par la bavette sauce échalotes et les ravioles aux cèpes, tout le monde s'est régalé. Nous y fetions un anniversaire nous avions demandé une petite bougie sur le dessert et à notre gde surprise l'équipe serveur(se) et cuisiniers ont apportés le dessert en chanson ! Super moment. L'équipe est super agréable je recommande et surtout je reviendrais.
