29/08/2024: After a rafting trip, nothing could be nicer than having lunch in this small, unpretentious but oh-so-pleasant restaurant!
Flawless all round (welcome, pleasant staff, delicious dishes, etc.)
And everything is “homemade” (or almost).
The setting is very pleasant with the trees and the river right next to it.
27/08/2024: IMPECCABLE service, very smiling and pleasant waiter, homemade dishes, everything was delicious, the terrace at the edge of the watercourse and next to the reservation site for rafting or other outings is top notch!

21/08/2024: Found it on the way to the Cormet de Roseland, attracted by the outdoor area, I stopped, chose a tartare, very good, presentation with attention to the smallest details. 12/09/2024: Great lunch at the Chalet du Col de la Croix de Fer! The welcome is warm and the atmosphere friendly. The dishes are delicious, made with quality products. The view is breathtaking, a real moment of relaxation after a hike. I highly recommend!

18/08/2024: L'endroit est super dommage que le service ne le soit pas. Propos déplacés du serveur, plats servis ne correspondant pas à la commande. Tarifs à la tête du client pour les boissons supplémentaires, pour la monnaie ne l'attendez pas elle va directement dans leur pot sans votre avis.
18/08/2024: Sans aucun doute profitent de l’emplacement pour faire leur chiffre. Pas aimable, service qui laisse à désirer. Si vous en avez la possibilité je vous conseille de faire quelques kilomètres de plus pour prendre votre repas. Snack à fuir !

22/08/2024: It's a shame that the bartender takes the customers for fools, he doesn't hesitate to serve you génep with crushed ice and to serve you a crème brûlée in a gratin dish whose thickness of sugar was equal to the appliance. crème brûlée for a total of 3 mm so very sweet I strongly do not recommend.

25/08/2024: We consumed 2 chocolates and 1 slice of cake.......the chocolates were milk with a little cocoa and the cake was nothing special.....we paid 16.10 euros.....it wasn't worth it ....... moreover we had to sit at the only table inside because the chairs outside were wet and no one thought to dry them...... a few meters above there is a very much better.......much lower prices and they also sell the cheese made by them with the milk of the cows that graze freely and happily in front (excellent and at a good price)
