29/07/2026: We received a very warm welcome despite our late arrival and having two pets. The room was clean and spacious. The bedding was excellent. The breakfast was varied and catered for all tastes. I highly recommend it.

29/07/2026: We stayed overnight in this small inn and received a warm welcome despite arriving a little late and without a reservation. This small hotel is tastefully decorated, our room was spacious, well-designed, and had a comfortable bed. The breakfast buffet offered a good variety and featured local products. A truly restful night.

13/07/2026: We loved La Parelle so much we stayed longer than we planned. The views from the bedroom, dining room and terrace are beautiful. The half board option included lots of delicious food - my favourites were the bread selection at breakfast and the crème brulé for dessert - and was exceptional value. The owner / manager is very friendly and makes you feel very welcome. Overall, it makes for a very relaxing summer break and we would love to come back again in future.

Super fun, great atmosphere, very pleasant staff, the music quiz and the DJ were fantastic, the customers were very friendly and sociable – a truly enjoyable break. I highly recommend it. 17/04/2026: Fantastic establishment! Great restaurant, excellent music, superb food, and friendly service. Walter is the best and a champion at recommending wines, not forgetting Olivier, the manager, who is always available and pleasant. From 4:30 pm onwards, the dance floor is on fire with amazing DJs.

10/04/2026: Fantastic grocery store with regional products! I tried their Morbier cheese, Raclette, and Smoked Raclette; everything was delicious, but a special mention goes to the Smoked Raclette, which was particularly good! They also offer roast chickens that are very tasty, perfectly seasoned with spices, and wonderfully juicy—perfect for a comforting meal. The snack bar, open all day, is also a great option for a quick bite or an afternoon treat, especially with a delicious Liège waffle. Don't leave without trying the walnut tart—it's absolutely delicious!

19/09/2026: Funny waiter, but one bad and extremely expensive meal. The bone marrow was overcooked, the cervelas sausage for sharing seemed stale, the pickles looked like they'd gone off, the cuttlefish tartlet was thick and there were onions everywhere, the foie gras was passable, and the sirloin Rossini was undercooked but not bad. Profiteroles for dessert, a lukewarm hot chocolate, and melted ice cream. €173.60 for two people, not worth the price.

28/09/2026: We chose this establishment to celebrate a birthday, mainly because it presents itself as a gourmet restaurant. The setting is indeed magnificent; unfortunately, it's just about the only gastronomic experience we'll remember… along with, of course, the price tag. From the very beginning of the meal, we were struck by the completely disorganized service. We dealt with four different servers for the same table, each seemingly lost at every turn. One would take an order, another would return to ask for something already ordered, a third would bring part of the order, and so on. It wasn't the multiple servers themselves that were the problem. It was the fact that none of them seemed to have an overall view of the table. We ordered two cocktails to start. Twenty minutes passed before they arrived. And when the cocktails finally arrived, our main courses arrived almost immediately. So we ended up with €15 cocktails served alongside a plate of octopus. For an establishment that prides itself on its gastronomic expertise, the service coordination was frankly surprising. Regarding the dishes, my octopus was very good. However, the ribeye steak, ordered rare, arrived medium-rare and was particularly difficult to carve. The blue cheese sauce, meanwhile, barely tasted like blue cheese. We naturally expressed our disappointment to the waiter. A discount on dessert was offered, which we appreciated in principle. But unfortunately, this didn't change the course of the meal. When you pay for a service, you don't pay simply to get a discount when things go wrong. You pay for a service that meets your expectations from the start. We then had to ask for our glasses of wine, which finally arrived when we had barely eaten a single bite. The bread arrived mid-course. Some empty glasses were left on the table while other items were cleared away. On several occasions, we genuinely felt that the waitstaff were left to their own devices to figure out what needed to be done. There were several servers around us, but paradoxically, no one seemed to know what to do. A lot of coming and going, but very little coordination. Most telling, we were clearly not the only ones noticing this: two other nearby tables were also complaining about the service at the same time. So it was clearly not simply our table that had been "forgotten" or unlucky. And we won't even mention a "busy evening" to justify this disorganization: when we arrived, the restaurant was far from full, with only about thirty covers. It's therefore particularly difficult to understand how such scattered service could occur with such a reasonable number of customers. When it came time to pay, the cashier informed us that a goodwill gesture had been made "for the minor inconvenience." When we explained that we wouldn't recommend the establishment, his response was simply: "Yes, it's not a big deal." This statement ultimately struck us as quite revealing. Because for us, it wasn't "a minor issue." It was a series of small shortcomings that, taken together, completely ruined the experience. A beautiful setting isn't enough to make a fine dining restaurant. At this price point, one obviously expects expertly prepared cuisine, but also organized, coordinated, and attentive service. We left with a very simple impression: the establishment's self-proclaimed prestige and the actual experience offered that evening were unfortunately worlds apart; a magnificent decor cannot indefinitely mask the deficiencies of poor service.

25/09/2026: We came to celebrate a birthday at this establishment, expecting to have a wonderful time in a beautiful setting. Unfortunately, what was supposed to be a lovely evening quickly turned into a farcical scene. At one point, we even wondered if there was a hidden camera. The aperitif went very well until the main courses arrived. The waitress arrived with a large tray and dropped a burger on the floor. Of course, this can happen; no one is immune to clumsiness. However, we were surprised that no apology was offered. The only comment we heard was, "It happens." We had ordered: 2 classic burgers (one rare and one medium) 1 burger with cheese 1 Rossini burger The waitress then brought us three burgers with cheese, even though we had only ordered one. We pointed out the mistake, but she insisted that the two extra burgers were part of our order. She leaves, then comes back with… another cheeseburger and a classic burger. We explain the order to her again, for the second time. She then returns with the second classic burger. She then tells us that the Rossini burger has already been served and asks us, and I quote, to "check that you haven't already received it." The people who had started their burgers obviously weren't going to return them for verification. The situation then becomes particularly awkward: the waitress stays next to someone and scrutinizes their burger, layer by layer, to check that it isn't the Rossini. She finally goes back to the kitchen, still without any apology since dropping the first burger. A few minutes later, she comes back to explain that the Rossini is being prepared… and that it was precisely the one she had dropped. Still no apology. As if that weren't enough, while eating, we realized that none of the burgers were cooked to the specifications the waitress had told us they'd. So, we ended up eating the wrong burgers. When it came time to pay, there was still no apology or explanation for the whole situation. We therefore asked for a small gesture of goodwill for this rather "legendary" evening. The aperitif was eventually offered to us... but only after we asked. We do want to mention, however, that the young man who took our order was very professional and pleasant. We have absolutely no complaints about him. To put it simply, the setting is beautiful, the food is very good, but you have to get lucky with the service, or if you enjoy a good laugh (especially a bitter one), this particular experience was perfect.

19/04/2026: What can I say?! Clearly the best bar in Val-d'Isère, by far. The atmosphere is always fantastic, and the bartenders are incredibly kind and welcoming. They also play fair with seasonal staff regarding prices, which is always appreciated, especially compared to other bars in the resort. Thanks guys, it's awesome!

11/04/2026: Such a lovely bar in Val d’Isère. The bartenders / owners are really nice guys and the atmosphere is so friendly. We went back a second night of our holiday because everyone liked it so much. Would defo recommend! Oh and they won Best Bar in Val d’Isère!!

06/09/2026: In my opinion, it's not quite a restaurant, more like a snack bar serving light meals. The staff is pleasant.

28/08/2026: The portion was extremely small, to the point that we had to order a fondue for three people between two people just to fill about two-quarters of the pot. As for the charcuterie... 18 euros and some change for 5 slices, totaling over 75 euros.

14/07/2026: A must-visit spot right on the slopes. The atmosphere is exceptional, the music excellent, and the vibe very festive. The only slight downside: the security guards at the entrance are very strict; we had to prove we were of legal age while children were getting in without any problem next to us.

28/04/2026: The location is very pleasant, but there's a major drawback: the soundproofing is poor, both from the outside and from neighboring apartments. The nights are very noisy.

27/04/2026: Perfect residence for a week of skiing...located in the heart of the resort, right at the foot of the slopes...parking 200m away...shops very close by... Top-notch apartment...and the staff's welcome and friendliness were impeccable.
