04/08/2026: The restaurant no longer exists. Not only was it closed, but the building was also demolished and the street where it once stood was transformed for construction of a new housing complex.

01/03/2026: Not too expensive to eat, but the origin of all the meats used in the preparations is not immediately obvious to consumers.

28/02/2026: We were passing through Porte-de-Savoie and ate at Le Gabelous. What a pleasant surprise! We ordered pizzas and thoroughly enjoyed them; they were absolutely delicious. The ingredients are high quality and the flavors are spot on. A big thank you to our very pleasant and smiling waitress, as well as to the equally welcoming manager. We highly recommend it and will gladly return! 🍕😊

24/04/2026: Its fantastic. We went here 4 out of the 6 days , the food is fantastic, the service is fantastic they make jokes and are really friendly its really calm and just nice, its busy here the whole week it shows that its really good! Would recommend!!!

13/04/2026: Fantastic welcome, delicious meal, and decadent desserts. The roasted Revard cheese was a wonderful discovery we'll remember, the Oul burger was a delight, and the ravioli gratin with porcini mushrooms and Beaufort cheese is definitely worth the trip. With a young and dynamic team, it was a real pleasure! Thank you so much, we'll be back.

25/08/2026: Friendly welcome, but we were very disappointed with the Beaufort salad, which wasn't very generous. My husband and I ordered two. A bed of mixed greens, six slices of Beaufort cheese, one slice of cured ham, and about ten potato slices for €17—that's expensive for a giant plate, even though it was advertised as such in the window. Really disappointed with the portion size. The reviews are very positive for the savory crepes, which, admittedly, looked quite substantial when we saw our neighbors' plates. I don't recommend the salads, sorry.

11/07/2026: Excellent Savoyard dishes, very well prepared (the diots are particularly good). The burgers are excellent, expertly cooked, with fresh fries and delicious buns. A very good restaurant.

10/04/2026: Fantastic grocery store with regional products! I tried their Morbier cheese, Raclette, and Smoked Raclette; everything was delicious, but a special mention goes to the Smoked Raclette, which was particularly good! They also offer roast chickens that are very tasty, perfectly seasoned with spices, and wonderfully juicy—perfect for a comforting meal. The snack bar, open all day, is also a great option for a quick bite or an afternoon treat, especially with a delicious Liège waffle. Don't leave without trying the walnut tart—it's absolutely delicious!

13/07/2026: We loved La Parelle so much we stayed longer than we planned. The views from the bedroom, dining room and terrace are beautiful. The half board option included lots of delicious food - my favourites were the bread selection at breakfast and the crème brulé for dessert - and was exceptional value. The owner / manager is very friendly and makes you feel very welcome. Overall, it makes for a very relaxing summer break and we would love to come back again in future.

26/07/2026: The owner was very unpleasant and not customer-oriented. She repeatedly criticized me for the drinks I was told to order throughout the evening. Aside from the fact that I only ordered two drinks myself. I was very disappointed with the atmosphere and the service, which needs improvement!

24/03/2026: We really enjoyed the crepes; however, the menu is unsuitable for children (no children's menu). We ordered two plates of plain coquillettes pasta, and the waitress didn't inform us that the prices from the hotel's evening menu would apply, which was €19 per plate. Similarly, the two scoops of ice cream were not included in the creperie's menu and were charged at €10! What a shame!

The cuisine is simple yet satisfying, with a set menu of starter, main course, and dessert for €17.50. The charcuterie is homemade and served in abundance. The main course features a beautiful chicken leg, and dessert is an assortment of Savoyard cheeses. There's also a good selection of Savoy wines by the glass. The owner is worth meeting—a bit grumpy but friendly, a true Savoyard...this establishment has been recommended by the Routard guide for several years.

31/07/2026: Great products, you want to buy everything! Breakfast on the terrace. Parking available. Friendly staff. I had a delicious lemon brioche, and the espresso and hot chocolate were excellent. Thank you for a lovely experience.

20/07/2026: The pains au chocolat we ordered were truly incredible. It's a shame that the blond woman, as soon as she realized we didn't speak French, started looking annoyed, as if I were doing her a favor by having me in front of her at that moment. It's truly a shame that such a great place like this has such rude staff.
