13/03/2026: Brilliant choice for a family ski holiday. Staff are excellent and really friendly. The kid's club staff were great and really enjoyed their caring duties with all the children, this made the whole holiday go smoothly, definitely recommended.

06/03/2026: 3rd season done now with Ski Famille, 2nd time in Cocon de neige as always the hotel is ran like clockwork under the management of Tom who is great and very helpful. Big shout out to all the kids club team specifically Will and Amelia who really made sure our two daughters were well looked after. I’d like thank Arthur who really is a gent, no problem is too big or small, his local knowledge and kind helpful nature wants me to book this hotel again next year alone. I also want to thank Umberto the Italian Stallion who was there to help no matter the issue. Our primary waiter George was also great and offered some great insight into the working day in a chalet and inspired my daughter to look into it when she’s older. You cannot beat this hotel for location, food and just general convenience. If anyone is on the fence and thinking about going for it then go for it.

09/03/2026: Excellent daily menu. Friendly welcome and quick, efficient service. Lovely terrace overlooking the village center.

27/02/2026: The food was very good, but as is often the case, it was barely lukewarm, if not cold. The service was adequate. The desserts were excellent.

16/03/2026: For the past two years, we've gone to Altiport every lunchtime. Unfortunately, the owner has changed. The prices have become exorbitant: seven euros more per dish compared to last year, even though the quality isn't any better… They no longer accept restaurant vouchers and aren't particularly customer-oriented. So we've changed spots: Dreamspot! Admittedly lower down, but so much nicer… It's a shame, but there, we're treated like fools.

10/03/2026: Great spot and splendid view. Very friendly welcome and service with smiles from Théo, Roméo, and Robin. Generous Caesar salad and truffled burrata, blanket and génépi liqueur included. Thank you, guys.

21/09/2025: A very pleasant stopover, even though we're not in the mountains. The Prioux hamlet has authentic charm, with the stream below to cool our feet after a long walk. The old stone building is divided into two parts: the refuge section with several dormitories, the common areas (dining room, bathrooms with hot showers!), and the inn section. We received a very warm welcome, with a drink on the sunny terrace and dinner at the table d'hôtes. That evening, we had pella (tartiflette with raclette cheese), a green salad, and ice cream. I highly recommend it 👍

12/09/2025: Impersonal welcome, decent room and good quality dinner. However, the packed lunch and breakfast were too light for hikers.

15/02/2026: My husband and I came for our second Valentine's Day. It was a truly delightful experience, filled with sweetness, flavor, and generosity. As we were leaving, the manager told us we were the last customers before the restaurant closed. This touched us deeply and I think it will stay with us for a very long time. Thank you to this restaurant for making this dinner such a wonderful memory. 🙌 And a special mention to the owners: you managed to convey your generosity and love through the food and the memories we will cherish. 🩷

04/02/2026: Flexible regarding arrival time (we informed them of our delay and the manager didn't hold it against us). Charming, rather intimate setting. Quick and efficient service. Good food but relatively expensive. Value for money 3/5. Friendly welcome. Clean restrooms. Extensive wine list. We had a pleasant time.

27/02/2026: We ate at the lunch buffet twice during our stay and were delighted with the service and the quality of the food! We will definitely return and hope to stay there again next year.

31/01/2026: Avoid this place at all costs! The owner is disdainful and completely unfriendly. You're only good for paying the bill. No hello, no goodbye from him. Frankly, he's nothing like the other local tradespeople in the area.

26/03/2026: Very expensive compared to other restaurants, a long wait for a burnt pizza. Very disappointing.

25/03/2026: We had a reservation for 6 people. Because it was very cold and windy, we asked if we could be moved inside. We were told that it was fully booked. However, when we went inside, we noticed there were at least 6 empty tables. Even when we left, those tables were still empty and not reserved. Very disappointing experience and poor customer service.

05/03/2026: This is our third time here, and it's not what it used to be. Prices have gone up significantly, and portions have shrunk considerably. In short, avoid it. There are plenty of other restaurants with better value for money. Restaurant owners keep complaining about tough seasons, but when you see the prices they charge, it's no wonder.

04/07/2025: During a business trip, we booked a room at this hotel for its proximity and convenience. The room was functional and standard, suitable for one night, but a small refrigerator would have been appreciated, especially in the heat. We had been proactive in asking if we could check in a little early, as we might arrive very late. The staff was very understanding and accommodating, which is worth noting. However, a mistake was made when giving us the card: the wrong room key, which prevented us from entering. We had to contact reception to have someone let us in. Another small drawback: breakfast ends at 9:00 a.m., which is a little early, especially for a hotel. We arrived at 9:30 a.m. and everything was already tidied up. Fortunately, upon our departure, we were kindly offered a croissant and a pain au chocolat, which we greatly appreciated. In summary: a practical hotel, with a good welcome despite a few awkward moments. Suitable for a short business trip.

01/07/2025: The young man at reception did everything he could to help us and resolve a problem with a door and key that wasn't working. He was very pleasant and friendly, thank you. The room was clean and quiet, with excellent air conditioning. I recommend it.

28/02/2026: Pizza + Fondue: The Ultimate Combo For 45 years, Maryse has been delighting Notre-Dame-de-Bellecombe with her wood-fired pizzas at her restaurant in Lachat. It's a sure bet; you're guaranteed a great evening. Special mention goes to the Neapolitan calzone (which you can order open-faced), both spicy and creamy thanks to the combination of hot sausage and ricotta. You can also enjoy delicious Savoyard fondues, plain or with porcini mushrooms. There are also other more elaborate or slow-cooked dishes, such as beef cheek, which we didn't try. The wine list is fairly short and reasonably priced. I finished my son's fondue with the crusts of my pizza—what more could you ask for?! The service was welcoming and efficient!

21/02/2026: Excellent restaurant near the ski slopes. There were nine of us, and the service was very quick and the waiters were very friendly. The pizzas are excellent, cooked in a wood-fired oven right in front of us—I loved it.
