11/02/2026: My partner and I have been going to Castello d'Enzo restaurant several times a month for the past few months. It's always so delicious! The meats are melt-in-your-mouth tender, always accompanied by fresh vegetables 🥰 We get the lunch special and the portions are really generous 😋 Even the appetizers and desserts are delicious and homemade 🙏 The value for money is excellent 😉 The staff is lovely, and since we come often, we've developed our little routines, haha ​​😊 I highly recommend it! 26/04/2026: I was pleasantly surprised by this beautiful beachfront hotel. The owner is truly a unique character—smiling, friendly, and bursting with energy—I loved her, just like the hotel itself. The bedding was superb, nothing to complain about. I recommend it 100%.

12/03/2026: A truly unique experience. First, we were refused the menu; apparently, the effort of fetching it was too much for the waitress, Sophie. Then, there was an order error. We received a coffee and a hot chocolate instead of a tea. No problem, these things happen. However, there was a problem when the waitress sighed as we pointed it out. Finally, there was a billing error. I paid for a coffee and a hot chocolate, not a coffee and a tea. I only realized this after the bill arrived and didn't bother to ask for a refund of the few cents difference. Thanks a lot, Sophie.

We went there four times during the week with our two children and were never disappointed. Well done and thank you!

17/04/2026: Our holiday HQ!! A lovely, welcoming place, perfectly located opposite the ski school and the slopes. The team is fantastic! Friendly, welcoming, and very pleasant, even though it's the end of the season. I highly recommend this establishment, whether for lunch in the sun or après-ski drinks. Thank you to the whole team for your warm welcome!

01/03/2026: A small, very cozy restaurant where they even prepare the meat on a grill right there in the restaurant. We went there because of the good reviews. Reservations are absolutely essential. You can also make them online, but you have to leave a €50 deposit per person! The restaurant is therefore very busy. This was also reflected in the service: impersonal, rushed, and not very communicative. We had a Savoyarde fondue, which was extremely runny. The cheese and white wine didn't blend at all. The green salad was quite tasteless, and the accompanying bread often fell apart in the fondue. The ham was nothing special either. The red wine was too cold. We also had dessert and coffee. Before we had even finished the coffee, the bill was placed on the table WITHOUT us asking. So, for us, it's quite clear – we can do without it.

27/11/2025: As Savoyards accustomed to enjoying authentic fondues, we were disappointed during our last visit. The fondue tasted acceptable, but its texture was far from ideal, which ruined the dining experience. Despite two follow-up calls to the staff to point out the problem, we received no response, no apology, not even an attempt at a solution. This is all the more frustrating as we had fond memories of our previous visits here. Unfortunately, this lack of responsiveness and consideration for customers left us with a bad impression. An experience to forget, and one we have no intention of repeating.

19/04/2026: A must for a fantastic time. A dining room or terrace with a breathtaking view, yes indeed, and a truly authentic face in front of the oven: Maryse, who's been there since…ooh! The pizzas are sensational with a perfectly crispy crust, but don't forget (like we did today) the amazing lasagna. And then there's the famous blueberry tart…when they have them, because Maryse refuses to buy them. They make the pastry soggy. Or, failing that, her lemon tart. Should you ask if everything is homemade? If I were you, I'd avoid asking 😡 In short, a great time in an exceptional setting that's well worth the effort.

28/02/2026: Pizza + Fondue: The Ultimate Combo For 45 years, Maryse has been delighting Notre-Dame-de-Bellecombe with her wood-fired pizzas at her restaurant in Lachat. It's a sure bet; you're guaranteed a great evening. Special mention goes to the Neapolitan calzone (which you can order open-faced), both spicy and creamy thanks to the combination of hot sausage and ricotta. You can also enjoy delicious Savoyard fondues, plain or with porcini mushrooms. There are also other more elaborate or slow-cooked dishes, such as beef cheek, which we didn't try. The wine list is fairly short and reasonably priced. I finished my son's fondue with the crusts of my pizza—what more could you ask for?! The service was welcoming and efficient!
