26/10/2025: If I could, I wouldn't give it a single star. Catastrophic hotel, horrible welcome, cold room. We were told they were going to turn on the heating for the night, but it never happened. We weren't even given the bill. We complained dozens of times by every means: Booking.com, email, phone, nothing! Zero hotel, I definitely do not recommend it.

29/09/2025: It's located in a simply enchanting location, the rooms are clean and modern, the cuisine offers typical local dishes, and the staff is young and courteous, but completely disorganized. It's a shame, because despite being dated, the property has been partially renovated, and in my opinion, it has considerable potential.

10/08/2025: Three of us arrive on a Sunday evening. We're quickly seated on the terrace. We wait. When the daily menu arrives, the waitress announces that these are the "daily specials." We then ask if there are any other pizzas available besides the "chef's." The answer is, "No, because it's Sunday, I'm all alone, and we're the only ones open." Okay, no problem, we understand. We opt for two "chef's burgers" and a "Norwegian salad." The waitress doesn't ask us how the burgers are cooked. We specify "blue" ourselves and wait. Two tables that arrive after us (a table of three and a table of two) are served before us. In the meantime, we can watch the dishes arrive, not always at the right tables. Summary of the dishes: for the salad: a few pieces of smoked salmon dueling and frozen shrimp. At €16.90, we've made a profit. The burgers: meat perfectly cooked. See burnt underneath. Hard bun, cold onion confit. The fries are good. We weren't asked how it went at the end. Lack of interest or total denial?

10/08/2025: Not exactly amazing, and expensive for what it is. No one came to see us for 10-15 minutes, not a word, nothing. A 30-minute wait after ordering to serve four Breton galettes, and there wasn't a crowd. The waitress served our galettes with her thumb touching them. The galette was a little undercooked. They were served "upside down" (filling underneath, crepe on top). A bit disappointing for lunch.

09/08/2025: Good experience The crepes are good and the service was decent.

30/01/2026: Staff seems overworked and stressed. The food was ok, but it wasn't quite up to the perceived level of the restaurant. Make sure to get one of the shareable dishes for the best experience. We were asked to leave immediately after we paid without any warning.

22/01/2026: Quite a varied menu, mainly traditional French but with enough European/Asian to suit everyone. Service was very quick and efficient, amazing as the restaurant was heaving. We had reserved a table but there did seem to be the odd table unoccupied.

13/11/2024: I went to Ernest and Valentin’s house today, and I was very disappointed by the welcome. Although I was visibly waiting, a saleswoman chose to serve another customer who arrived after me. This lack of consideration surprised me so much that I preferred to leave. I can't say if this was due to discrimination... Very disappointed with this experience with Ernest and Valentin.

10/11/2024: I went to the bakery to take my order from a waitress with a smile, polite who understands us, thank you Alexandra. Not like a young girl max 20 years old who was there in the evening doesn't smile, pulls her head, not even polite. Frankly unacceptable morning team more polite than the evening one I would return that in the morning I put 5 at the service thanks to the morning team of 10/11/2024 etc but if I could have I would have put 5 stars everywhere for the morning but not for the evening I don't know where he finds their employee but catastrophic for the young girl who worked that evening. Looks like she didn't want to work

12/12/2025: A very good shop with wonderful, welcoming staff. A shop that sells very good quality coffee and tea.

08/01/2026: Only stopped here for lunch, I would say for what the food was it was very expensive, I had the tartiflette but when it arrived it looked and tasted like a microwave meal, very watery as well. My friend had the Steak and again it was tough and chewy. This has put me off coming back. better restaurants elsewhere on the mountain.

29/12/2025: Altibar was fantastic back in the day. Pilatus was ok at first, but its latest owners wrecked the place. Insanely over-expensive (c.50eur for tomato sauce pasta!) in a valley already over-crowded with excessive ‘glitz’ and wildly expensive options (largely charmless dross). Thank God the latest Pilatus has closed down. I pray whatever comes next in its place is a return to its old reasonably well-priced good quality form. Please bring back old school classics and quality to Courchevel!

29/01/2026: Very recently we went to this restaurant for a drink. My father started to eat a sandwich which he had brought with him. Almost immediately we were confronted by a man with a beret and a pointed beard who was very rude. He used a sexually charged derogatory comment.."if you go to a prostitute you don't take your wife with you" which I suppose is an analogy to taking a sandwich to a restaurant and not buying the available food. The situation quickly escalated into verbal threats, and we were ordered to leave the premises immediately. This action constitutes a serious breach of the basic duties of courtesy, respect, and professionalism expected of any establishment welcoming the public, particularly with regard to customers and tourists. There is no way that i could recommend this restaurant to any one in search of a good relaxing meal.

04/01/2026: The person who greeted us was very friendly. A little less stress would have been appreciated. The crepes are made with jam, but the person refused to put any on the waffles.

30/01/2026: Honestly, you’d struggle to find a worse place in Méribel. Such a shame it’s in a great location and convenient, otherwise surely under the current inept management it wouldn’t survive. Impressively poor, from attitude to quality of food.

06/09/2025: We came by chance because the restaurant across the street was closed. Honestly, we're going to have to rethink the kitchen; I've rarely eaten so badly in a brasserie. No flavor, no effort at presentation, and the prices are still high for what you serve. The seasoning is nonexistent, and the bill was just too steep. No interest.

17/08/2025: Slow slow slow slow slow. Here for lunch, we ordered 2 salads and 1 pizza. 1h and half and not getting our lunch. I normally do not criticize any place but this one is above any possible standard.

01/02/2026: I'm giving it two stars because the food was relatively good. But the waitress was incredibly rude to all the other customers in the restaurant. There are ways to say things. If you can't stand people, you should find another job, madam!

01/02/2026: Appalling welcome and nonexistent customer service. Arriving early, we simply asked to be seated for a few minutes while waiting for the rest of our table: flat refusal. We offered to wait with an aperitif: also refused. A haughty tone, an icy attitude, no solutions offered, and the distinct impression of being pushed out. If you can't treat customers properly, find another line of work. Avoid at all costs.
