28/09/2024: Very large selection of cakes and macarons of very good quality. There are also always changing seasonal tarts. The service is friendly and patient, as it is difficult to make a decision given the many delicious products.
Currently recommended are the apple caramel tart and the brownie ball with pistachios.
25/09/2024: In Vaison-la-Romaine, this town where every stone breathes history, hides a sweet sanctuary, a place of worship for initiated taste buds: the Peyrerol patisserie.
Pronounce this name in a low voice and you will see the eyes of the locals light up with lust and the smiles appear like greedy confessions.
Today, rather than describing the sumptuous display of golden pastries, fine chocolates and ice creams with surprising flavors like blueberry or violet, let me tell you about a tiramisu that is as daring as it is refined.
Imagine, first of all, a light mascarpone cream, soft as a caress, neither too sweet nor too strong. Each spoonful plunges into a fragrant cloud, subtly “punched” (I have always loved this culinary term ☺️) of a coffee syrup with deep aromas, flirting with the intoxicating notes of alcohol, without one or the The other never dominates, like a discreet whisper. It’s a delicate waltz between the voluptuousness of mascarpone and the measured intensity of coffee, in short: a perfect harmony.
Then, on top, crunchy shards of lightly roasted pecans dance. Their woody, almost caramelized flavor awakens the senses, contrasting with the creamy sweetness to provide an apotheotic finish to each bite. It’s this little grain of madness, this crispy texture that enhances the whole thing, like the final touch of a pastry masterpiece. We then close our eyes, we let the flavors blossom on the palate, we savor this perfect alchemy, this marriage between tradition and innovation, signature of the Peyrerol house.
Peyrerol is, for me, much more than a pastry, it is an experience, a tribute to the senses, a place where each treat becomes a declaration of love for life. Special mention to the staff, as kind and smiling as they are efficient. In short, you will have understood, I will come back… for other flavors. 01/01/2026: My stop on my way home from work, since I work nights... Homemade pastries are rare these days, and they're excellent. The bread is very good, and as for the cakes, so far I've only bought some bûchettes (small logs). I found them a bit pricey, but again, nothing to complain about, very good. The staff is also very friendly.

I used to recommend this bakery to my friends and colleagues: although a bit pricey, the quality was there, and like any foodie, I was willing to make an effort…
But clearly, things have changed: the service is so-so, but still, it's not great. As for the products I bought today, December 19th, around 2 pm:
- a flaky brioche, for which I specifically asked if it was fresh… "Everything is fresh," the saleswoman told me: LOL, not to mention the non-existent lamination and the butter that must have gone on holiday for the holidays.
- a flaky fougasse with cracklings: I admit, it's very good, just like it used to be.
- two Swiss rolls (€3.20 EACH!): no butter, underbaked, and the chocolate was also on vacation.
- a savory onion tart and a blue cheese tart: these are basic, flavorless loaves. In short, €25 for a basket like that? I won't recommend it! The worst part is treating people like idiots when the products aren't all fresh and the butter and other items are missing!
We'll go elsewhere! Sorry

07/12/2025: The campsite was awful. The pool was practically useless. It was always closed, I don't recommend it.
13/11/2025: The mobile home was filthy, with a toilet that was backing up sewage.
The smell was nauseating! I notified management 24 hours before my stay to resolve the problem, but they never came to fix it!
Grease, hair, a disgusting fridge and bedroom.
And what's more, they were unwilling to admit it.
Mold everywhere. The overall condition of the furniture and cleanliness was only passable! Even the kitchen utensils were either faded and hadn't been replaced, or were rusty.
Avoid at all costs!!! It's a shame because the location is good.
But otherwise, I was extremely disappointed with my stay...

08/12/2025: We were just passing through Apt and were looking for a quick and easy meal before heading home. "Tea room" and "lunch special" seemed like good arguments for the situation. Well, apparently not. We would have been better received at McDonald's. Since some of her friends were already in the dining room, we barely received a glance or a greeting, and not a single smile. Three out of eight options were unavailable, even though they were still listed on the menu. We settled for a quiche and a tomato and cheese tart with a side salad of olives and button mushrooms (nothing special to say about it), and for €8.50, given the size of the tarts, we could at least have expected a piece of bread and a drink other than a pitcher of water, but apparently, that kind of treatment is reserved for the table of friends. Anyway, moving on, our request for dessert in the second part of the room unfortunately interrupted the cheerful (and noisy) conversation, and we ended up with half a portion of pastry for the price of a full one. And we won't even mention the four chocolates we bought at the end of the meal, which were inedible because they had clearly been left out in the open (and for how long...?). For this, we really should have asked ourselves more questions; we're so naive. A quick mention to the young intern, who was clearly just as overwhelmed as we were: we wish you all the best and happy holidays. Next time we're in Apt, we'll just make a quick trip and eat at home.
05/12/2025: For November 15, 2025, I ordered an "Opéra" cake for 12 people for a birthday, and everyone was delighted with this excellent pastry!
Furthermore, Ms. Rousset was incredibly kind in creating this cake, on which I had brought a photo made of sugar paste, and she ingeniously incorporated it on top. I truly appreciated her effort to make me happy.
I highly recommend this shop, which is a tea room, confectionery, and chocolate shop all in one, and everything is delicious!!

15/09/2024: A éviter pour le brunch le restaurant je ne connais pas.
Un brunch digne d'un bon routier des années 80 avec le prix d'un restaurant gastronomique , triste pour un endroit qui pourrait être si agréable.
08/09/2024: Salle froide et très ordinaire. On attend à mieux d'un restaurant d'un hôtel 4 étoiles. Personnel incompétent il a fallu réclamer un apéritif, puis à deux reprises des boissons lorsque nos plats ont été servis. La cuisine est très ordinaire. Le fish and chips est du surgelé...idem pour les desserts le tiramissu à la figue est composé d'une vulgaire confiture de figues bas de gamme et d'une mousse industrielle.

Accueil très sympathique par la serveuse qui y met tout son cœur
Les plats à partager sont de qualité
Nous y retournerons lors d’un prochain passage à L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue
L’endroit est sympa et surtout au calme de la ville

20/01/2026: Overall, everything went well, from check-in to the room and breakfast.
The only downside was the shower head, which didn't work and was quite inconvenient when showering.
13/01/2026: We received a very warm welcome and the hotel was very friendly, but the room had no heating and we were a bit cold. The sink was clogged, which was a shame, and there was a lot of mold around the bathtub, which was a bit of a nuisance. The shutter in the room was broken! The room itself was very clean, but I think it needs some work to get it back in good condition!

15/01/2026: Great farm to table concept, yet food is disappointing.
Went there for a lunch tasting menu, had to say that I didnt like 4 out of ~7 dishes being served. There are quite a few dishes with ingredient or seasoning that i dont like, eg spirulina and rose water, it would be great if they give people options to avoid such situation.
Food : Mostly basic pantry stable and nothing fancy, like herbs, beetroot, celeriac, squid and trout. I was shocked that the first two courses were literally a few pieces of herbs from the garden, one deep fried and one in tempura style. Bread were cold. You could tell that most of the dishes are pre-cooked/prepared but not cooked on the spot. Some food are reheated and felt barely lukewarm. Chocolate cookie that they gave after your paid the bill was the best of the meal.
Portion : Tiny teeny
Service : The young staff were lovely but seemed untrained. The chef was the one going around every table to present the dishes and told people how she connects with each local producer. Nice story but i am coming for good food.
14/12/2025: A wonderful weekend spent at La Fenêtre ❤️ discovering a reimagined cuisine. Each dish transported us to different and surprising taste sensations. We received a very warm welcome. 26/09/2024: 1 star, I would have liked to put 0, a figure equivalent to the number of drinks we were able to order.
The waiter decided to ignore us (for a good fifteen minutes) except to tell us to move our chairs.
So we left with a lot of regret, like the group of people at the table next to us because of the wait and the friendliness of the waiter.
Even the bar dog preferred to go and complain to a bar located higher up in the village (much too cute dog ^^)
24/09/2024: We were received in a very unpleasant manner, yet we were the only customers at the opening and we came for a coffee. No polite words and bordering on aggressive. The waiter refused us access to the upstairs terrace, claiming that it was reserved for lunch, it was 10:15 in the morning.

06/08/2025: Don't visit this restaurant. We came to this restaurant because we needed something to eat and most restaurants were closed. We were lured by the prospect of a garden where we could eat. The fact that there was only one couple eating in the garden should have set off enough alarm bells, but oh well. The paper tablecloths were yellowed, and the glassware looked grimy. They didn't have any beer on tap, so I had to choose a bottled beer. We sat in the garden next to a well, where I was immediately stung by mosquitoes. We then went straight inside. That was easy; there was absolutely no one there. The starter was a slice of tasteless pate with a lettuce leaf. The main course was decent enough, a chicken leg, but once I cut it open, I left half of it because I thought it wasn't quite cooked through. We didn't order dessert. There was a discussion going on in the background between the boss (patron) and the waiter. "No, they don't want any more dessert, and no more coffee either." The owner, a shabby, slightly sweat-smelling man, came halfway through our meal to ask which campsite we were at and if it was full. He sounded a bit accusatory, like, "Where are all the other guests?" I got a bit of a Californian hotel vibe. I wanted to leave, but I couldn't.
I still gave the service four stars. The waiter tried his best but was very unsure.
