22/03/2026: We know this place well for a coffee or a drink when we're in the Vaucluse region. We decided to have a meal there with a couple of friends. We were pleasantly surprised by the generous and high-quality portions! Moreover, the service was just as good as the food: friendly and welcoming! Eating on the terrace only made the experience even more enjoyable! Are you looking for a simple and genuine place where everyone will find something to enjoy? This is the place for you! We'll be back as soon as we're in the area. Montpellier isn't that far away!

18/05/2026: What a magnificent place, exuding calm and bathed in wonderful energy! A charming, family-run hotel that you absolutely must experience and stay in.

16/05/2026: We went there on a whim once again. A warm welcome awaited us in this superb setting. We opted for the set lunch menu, which proved to be a delight, with dishes prepared with considerable skill. Another truly wonderful culinary experience. The excellent wine recommendations from their superb wine list should also be highlighted. A highly recommended establishment.

20/04/2026: By far my favorite café in Avignon! A very warm atmosphere, ideal for getting some work done, with delicious pastries of course ;) Update 4 years later: A landmark is closing… we'll miss you.

19/04/2026: Aside from the remarkable setting, the dinner was quite mediocre; I'd say comparable to a cafeteria meal at a bistro-style price! The aperitif (for 6 guests) wasn't even served with a few olives or tapenade; the asparagus was barely cooked and/or overcooked; the meat side dishes (vegetables) were still cold...did they come straight from the freezer?! The meat sauces were like Liebig or something similar... In short, the quality/price ratio was very poor.

01/06/2026: I'm not criticizing the mistake, which can happen to anyone, but the way it was handled. Paying €15 for a Margherita and receiving it burned is already unpleasant; reporting it politely and receiving arrogance and poor customer service in return is even more so. For this reason, I wouldn't recommend it.

05/05/2026: The food is heavily overpriced - quality of food is not good. Steak was tough to jew and swallow, fries were not salted - but still the cost per plate is like an upper middle class restaurant (Steak with fries 28€). Yes it is central but still passion for quality is lacking.

17/06/2026: Pleasant atmosphere and friendly setting. Unfortunately, the culinary experience didn't entirely convince us, especially considering the prices. For starters, the puff pastry with goat cheese and tapenade seemed rather ordinary, with a sauce lacking character. The pike-perch fillet served as a main course appeared to have been frozen and was overcooked, which affected its texture. Regarding desserts, the waitress informed us that none were homemade, which at least had the merit of transparency. The strawberries with whipped cream lacked flavor and weren't ripe enough. On the plus side: the wine list is extensive and offers a wide selection of organic wines. In the end, the food is presented adequately but remains quite basic. Overall, we felt it offered disappointing value for money. It should also be noted that the establishment does not accept credit card payments, which may be inconvenient for some customers.

14/06/2026: A wonderful discovery for our first visit to Sault. The welcome, service, cuisine, wine list—everything is worthy of a team of professionals. Don't hesitate if you're in the area. For those who are "bad at using their credit cards"...do as I did...before asking for a table...open your eyes...The ATM is fifty meters away...😉

Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed. It's a shame; we weren't the only disappointed customers waiting outside. Please check if the restaurant is open before making the trip.

06/01/2026: We went to this restaurant as a family with our daughters, aged 2.5 and 4.5, as well as our parents and friends. The welcome was exceptional; the staff were incredibly kind, especially to our daughters, who were treated like princesses. The setting is magnificent, and we have rarely eaten so well. Everything was excellent.

03/06/2026: Very disappointing for a four star hotel, do not recommend. Room is fine, but assigned to a room with no shower, just a tub! Furthermore, there is a ring of mold around the tub. No flexibility to change rooms. A/C barely working and Wifi is in and out. Pretty disappointing.

11/11/2025: Delicious! Friendly and kid-friendly atmosphere. Smiling and responsive staff. The portions were HUGE and DELICIOUS, with a lot of thought put into balancing the tastes and flavors. Starters, main courses, desserts—all top-notch! Even the KIDS Fish & Chips was very good, with REAL HOMEMADE fries!!!

29/10/2025: The starter was excellent, the main course very good, but I was disappointed by the dessert... in a €40 menu, it's a shame because the service was good and friendly, but the presentation of the dessert was lacking; a pile placed in the middle of the plate. It tasted good, but there was no presentation or decoration; we're still looking for the caramel! It's still a good restaurant nonetheless.

17/04/2026: Very pleasant restaurant. We came as a family with a small dog. A sign indicates that a water bowl is available. Clean restaurant and lovely children's play area. A place to remember.

I ordered a gourmet iced coffee and received a small, hot latte with a little whipped cream... a mistake in the order, so I took it back... and to my surprise, the young woman took my glass, added four ice cubes (yes, four ice cubes!), and handed it back to me just like that, without any fuss... I left...
