02/07/2026: I highly recommend this place: Fresh products, excellent value for money, and a superb outdoor area (beautiful shaded terrace, small, secure pond, swing and slide, pétanque court). Bertrand and his wife are very welcoming and attentive to their customers. And for fresh fish lovers, the trout is caught that very morning in the pond—a real treat!

07/10/2026: We ate here on Sunday evening. A real French restaurant, also for non-hotel guests. In early October, it was still quite full on such a Sunday evening. Reservations therefore seem advisable. Unfortunately, the lighting is a bit dull/bright. Friendly and efficient service. The duck foie gras and lamb rump steak, accompanied by a glass of wine, were of a pretty good standard, certainly for a hotel kitchen. Just a little too little sauce with the meat. Reasonable price level.

04/10/2026: Unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience, especially considering the price. From the moment we ordered, the service seemed rather odd and unprofessional. We ordered a starter, main course, and dessert: the starter and main course arrived at the same time… We also ordered a children's menu for €20. The steak was clearly frozen, extremely well-cooked, very flat, and tasteless. For a children's menu at that price, one can legitimately expect better. We also ordered a lamb rump steak. The meat itself was quite decent, but the side dishes were much less impressive. Another telling detail: we were told that gluten-free bread was available. At dinner, nothing was offered or served. Yet, to our surprise, the next morning gluten-free bread was available at breakfast. It's therefore difficult to understand why it wasn't available at the restaurant the day before. The service was similar: we ordered two bottles of water, but only one was served. We had to ask a second time for the missing bottle. When it finally arrived, it was simply placed on the table, still sealed, without even being opened. But the most disappointing aspect was the reaction when we told the waitress at the end of the meal that our experience hadn't been satisfactory: no real response, no particular reaction, nothing. We truly felt that our comment was completely ignored. The bill came to around €35 ​​per person on average, even though we were accompanied by three children. At this price point, we expected significantly higher quality food and, above all, a much higher level of service. We learned that there had been a change of ownership. We obviously can't judge the strategy they've chosen, but our experience unfortunately leaves us with a rather simple impression: prices seem to have gone up, but the quality and service clearly haven't kept pace. Between the haphazard organization, mediocre food, forgotten requests, and especially the lack of response when we expressed our disappointment, the experience was truly disappointing. We won't be back.

At this little restaurant, the welcome was just as warm, with a friendly owner who takes the time to check on you to make sure everything is alright. I had a sirloin steak with fries, the size of a plate and about 1 cm thick, and my partner had cod with a side of various small shrimp and fish. All this for an affordable price of €16 for the cod and €17 for the sirloin steak. With a drink, no dessert, and coffee, the bill came to €42. I will gladly return. I returned to Au Coin du Feu today, February 4th, 2024. After several visits, I can add to my review by saying that if you're looking for a family atmosphere, this is definitely the place. The Charlotte pictured is the owner Karim's daughter, and the other Charlotte is also there. who works with them and her grandmother this whole little group is always ready to please you as much as possible I recommend booking if you want to come on the weekend because many regulars come often and the restaurant only seats 30 Each week the restaurant offers specials, for example today it's Moules frites (mussels and fries) for 18 euros, reservation required of course You can of course order other things too last week it was couscous In the photos you'll see there's a fireplace, it works but only when it's cool, it's not just for decoration If you have a baby, they are also welcome. They even made two 6-person birthday cakes for me in 1.5 hours because I'd forgotten to make the cakes for my son's school birthday party 🌟 The girls are lovely too. I highly recommend them!
