We would have liked to have dessert, but some tables were served before us, so we left after waiting so long, seeing the locals ordering ahead of us. The service, in our case, was rather poor, but perhaps that's because there isn't a waitress for every table...

20/06/2026: I rarely write reviews, but this establishment truly deserves it. My younger brother, my mother, and I came today to try a 3 kg burger (The Ogre). The burger was delicious, made with local Vosges products, and not at all dry. The bacon, the steak—everything was fresh and tasty. Similarly, all their dishes are local and excellent. We also ordered andouille sausage with grated potatoes: it was delicious. The service and the waiters are generally pleasant, even a bit joking, but always in good spirits! A quick note on prices: on average, expect to pay between €20 and €28 per person, which is a plus for local, high-quality products. (Except for the notable case of the "anti-crisis" menu under €20, which is still an excellent way to treat yourself without breaking the bank these days.) Friends from the Vosges, come and dine here! For our part, we will return as soon as possible to eat there.

12/07/2026: Very good hotel, although it's a bit far from the motorway exit. Otherwise, the service was impeccable, the room was good, the food was good, and the breakfast was very good.

24/06/2026: Charming and very friendly restaurant, the staff are incredibly nice and the chef makes delicious dishes. The owner always has a kind word. I highly recommend this place. Come and discover it soon, you won't be disappointed.

17/05/2026: The storefront and interior layout have a slightly retro bar feel, and the dining room is nicely decorated. The welcome is friendly and the service relatively quick. The homemade dishes are prepared with care, sometimes with a touch of originality (special mention for the steak tartare on bone marrow!). Everything is excellent! We'll be back…

17/05/2026: I ate there on May 17, 2026, at lunchtime and was honestly very disappointed. We waited an hour for our meal. The flank steak, ordered rare, arrived on my plate medium-rare and really small. The potato fritters were microwaved. The fries smelled of used oil; you could taste it. Unfortunately, the cook is really not up to scratch. Even the pie was reheated the same way. Ugh. A €30 set menu that was only worth €10. Luckily, the green salad filled the plate. The cook is a microwave master. In short, it wasn't good at all. Luckily, the waitress was nice. I don't recommend it.

16/07/2026: I'm a big fan of this restaurant on the Gé, lovely terrace, great atmosphere, their cocktails are fantastic and there's a wide variety (Mojitos with lots of different flavors: mango, raspberry, strawberry, blueberry 🫐). The food is excellent, the tarte flambée is delicious and the salads are great too, and for cheese lovers, the Reblochon tarte flambée and the Tarti'fouette are real gems ✨. The servers are friendly and helpful.

12/07/2026: We came on a Saturday evening; the terrace was packed, but we were seated inside. The wine and drinks were decent, but the food was disappointing: a boneless ribeye steak and pasta with guanciale that was nothing special (four tiny pieces floating around on the plate). €19 for pasta with cheese is a bit steep... But the worst part was the €6 charge for five fries. Perhaps the quality of the food drops in high season, but it wasn't worth the price, and we were disappointed.

12/07/2026: I first came to have a drink on the terrace several times, and everything was fine. This Friday evening, we decided to eat there; there were three of us. But we left disappointed. First, one of the waiters, despite two reminders, kept forgetting to bring us a carafe of water. Second, a larva was discovered on the corner of my burger as soon as it was served and immediately sent back. Third, a steak ordered rare was served well-done, and a hair was found in the same burger. So, a lot of carelessness, and some doubts about hygiene... And lastly, the Nocciolata crepe cost €8.50, seriously? That's the price of a 500-gram jar in a store.

09/07/2026: A warm, professional, and friendly welcome. Furthermore, I was able to get a large table because I needed to work; for that, I thank the waiter who immediately understood. And above all, the Vosges salad was delicious.

26/01/2026: We held our company seminar at Domaine de Champé in Bussang in October 2025, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. The welcome was impeccable, the food was top-notch, the spa was a real bonus, and the venue is magnificent, perfectly suited to professional events. The meeting room was very functional and equipped with everything we needed, allowing us to work in excellent conditions. The team stayed in spacious, clean, comfortable, and perfectly furnished and equipped wooden chalets—a true haven. Special mention to Jean-Mi and Ingrid for their availability, kindness, and professionalism. A fantastic team, proactive and always attentive to our needs. A huge thank you to everyone: we wholeheartedly recommend Domaine de Champé!

24/01/2026: I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Sunêlia Domaine de Champé in Bussang (F-88) in the Vosges Mountains of France. It's a very pleasant 5-star holiday resort where you can have a wonderful time in a peaceful, mountainous setting. Following my visit in December 2025, I can give you a complete overview of the resort, including everything you need to know about the atmosphere, facilities, services, rates, and practical information! 📍 Let's start with the location and the neighborhood: Sunêlia Domaine de Champé is located at 14 Rue des Champs Naves, 88540 Bussang, France. It's situated in the heart of the Ballons des Hautes Vosges, at the foot of the Bussang and Ballon d'Alsace passes, in a natural environment, near the source of the Moselle River. It's located in a quiet, green, hilly area, ideal for hiking, cycling, or relaxing in nature. 🏡 Atmosphere & Decor: A warm, family-friendly atmosphere. The restaurant and common areas feature interior decor inspired by the Vosges mountain/chalet style, using wood and natural materials to create a cozy and authentic ambiance. A variety of accommodations: camping pitches, upscale mobile homes, and authentic wooden chalets, some with private saunas. 💦 Pools & Water Park: A water park of approximately 300 m², popular with families and couples: An indoor pool heated year-round (approximately 32°C), with large bay windows overlooking the mountains. An outdoor pool heated seasonally (May to late September, approximately 28°C), surrounded by mountains. A paddling pool and water slide for children in the summer. Typical hours: 9 am → 8 pm (subject to seasonal variation). 🧖‍♀️ Spa & Wellness: The Pure Altitude Spa, a certified Spa de France, is a highlight of the resort. Facilities: Finnish sauna (indoor/outdoor), hammam, jacuzzi, Nordic bath, relaxation area, hydromassage baths, herbal tea room. Treatments and massages are available (body treatments, facials, sensory rituals), often by reservation. Day spa access is possible, with wellness rates (e.g., sauna/hammam/pool access ~€18 + supplement depending on treatments); massages and treatments are around €60 and up depending on duration/type. Access is for ages 18 and up, or ages 10 and up with an adult and waiver, subject to the rules. 🍽️ Dining & Services: Chez Jean-Mi restaurant on site, often praised by visitors for its Vosges and Alsatian cuisine and friendly atmosphere. Bar, snack bar (in season), kids' club (ages 4–12 in high season), grocery store, Wi-Fi, playground. Sports activities on site or nearby: hiking, mountain biking, tennis, fishing, winter sports, etc. 👍 What I liked during my visit: ✔ Warm welcome and friendly staff. ✔ Magnificent natural surroundings, perfect for relaxation. ✔ Well-maintained and comfortable facilities (swimming pools, spa). ✔ Family atmosphere and children's activities in season. ✔ Restaurant appreciated for its regional dishes. 🛠 Areas for improvement: lighting on the pathways in the evening, some aging accommodation facilities, and restrooms too far from the campsites. For example, we had a chalet called Odile where the upstairs parquet floor creaked terribly when you walked on it, waking everyone up at night. Another example: the oven door wouldn't close because the glass was coming loose! Yet another: the French door frame leading to the terrace is worn and needs replacing, making it incredibly difficult to open and close. Despite these minor issues, which will certainly be resolved, I highly recommend this holiday center and the Chez Jean-Mi restaurant. You'll have a wonderful time in a peaceful, mountainous setting. The setting is full of charm, typically warm and welcoming, perfect for sharing a good meal in a friendly atmosphere. The service is attentive, friendly, and very professional. The dishes are generous, tasty, and prepared with quality products—true local cuisine, just the way we like it! An inn well worth the detour: authenticity, deliciousness, and good humor are all there. We will definitely return! The owner is very business-oriented; congratulations on your professionalism.
