19/08/2026: A timeless moment in Maisons-Laffitte… Just a few kilometers from Paris, a stone's throw from the racecourse, nestled in the heart of the woods, lies an unusual restaurant where the dishes are pure bliss. Fresh ingredients, cooked with passion, and simply delicious. All this in a restaurant where you can stop by just for a drink and even buy the latest Paris Match! Discovered today by chance during lunch with a friend who runs a healthcare facility, we had a wonderful time and a divine lunch… An experience to be repeated. Thank you to the three ladies who welcomed us.

18/05/2026: We discovered this hotel by chance with a last-minute booking. I have rarely experienced such high-quality service from every single staff member we encountered, which shows it's a deliberate policy of the establishment. We were stuck on the highway, arriving at 10 PM instead of 8:30 PM; we were expecting a quick room service, but the kitchen staff offered, without us even asking, to welcome us to the restaurant where we enjoyed a very fine dinner served by a kind and charming head waiter. The very green setting near the forest is lovely and offers a real change of scenery. The room was very comfortable and unique. Note: if you type "hotel cazaudehore" into Waze, it will take you to the center of Saint-Germain-en-Laye; you should type in the address or just "cazaudehore".

10/05/2026: This hotel is wonderful. Whether in the hotel or the restaurant, all the staff were very efficient and responsive, and we truly felt their hospitality. We were able to completely relax. The restaurant also had a great atmosphere, and the food was delicious. If there's one area for improvement, it would be the wine service: after the first glass was poured by the staff, we had to refill our own glasses because the servers seemed very busy. With an additional person in the dining room, this kind of small detail would undoubtedly have been better handled, and the experience would have been even more enjoyable.

07/09/2026: I cycled over after being turned away from the "Arena" bar in Essarts-le-Roi (I definitely don't recommend this place), but at the hostel, the owner was incredibly kind and gave me fresh bottled water! I recommend it.

30/07/2026: I thought I was making a good choice for an intimate post-wedding meal, and what a disappointment... That was the general opinion of everyone at the table. The appetizers and main courses were tiny, undercooked, and far too bland, with an unjustified stinginess in the use of ingredients compared to their actual cost. On the other hand, and thankfully, the desserts were excellent. But overall, and with regret, we did not enjoy the experience and felt rather like we were contributing to the cost of laundering the white tablecloths and maintaining the trees around the establishment, rather than actually cooking.

13/06/2026: Helpful staff, the buckwheat galettes and dessert crepes are very generously filled and delicious. The dishes are very affordable.

10/08/2026: A brasserie with a very warm welcome and homemade food. I thoroughly enjoyed the large salmon salad, which was very generous and full of delicious ingredients. Despite the heat outside, it was cool inside.

16/09/2026: I eat at Léon de Bruxelles Buchelay several times a week and always receive a fantastic welcome from the team, from the managers to the servers. It's quick, tasty, and excellent value for money. And a huge thank you to Abdoul, who manages everything.

14/09/2026: Back again this September, we found a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The waiter was absolutely lovely. Ramdane takes excellent care of his customers. We asked to take our time for this birthday meal. Everything met our expectations. The mussels were piping hot. They were served at the end of our shared platter. Just one thing: last year there was an extra dessert offered. An XXL apricot mille-feuille. A pure delight. It's a shame there wasn't anything like it this time. Something to consider adding to the menu 😏

21/08/2026: They used to have amazing burgers. Tonight I bought a Torero and a Stromboli, and they were just so-so. The Torero had no flavor other than the pickle's vinegar. The bun was completely soggy. Everything was dripping. The steak wasn't cooked, not rare, it was raw. The fries were undercooked. Everything was really bland. A tiny little container of coleslaw that served absolutely no purpose, unlike before when the coleslaw was a proper container, not a toy; they might as well have left it out altogether. In short, I'm really disappointed, especially compared to before. This is the second time I've been.
