29/05/2026: I came with two friends of North African origin. A young waitress seated us on the terrace. We ordered drinks, and a few seconds later, the owner came over to tell us they weren't serving drinks at that time… even though all the tables around us had already been served. Clearly, they took us for fools. Cold welcome, unpleasant tone, and a strong feeling of not being welcome. Afterwards, a colleague (also a foreigner), who lives in Jouy and knows the establishment well, confirmed to me that this kind of selective treatment is nothing new. In short, a very bad experience. Avoid this place.

22/05/2026: I called to make a reservation at 1 p.m. for the evening. They told me to come and that there would be space. Once I arrived, the restaurant was full… not nice!

03/11/2025: We had a very good experience at this restaurant where the service was impeccable and the food excellent and beautifully presented. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Perhaps just one small point for improvement: the ambiance could benefit from softer lighting and some oriental music to create a truly immersive experience.

14/05/2026: For the repair of a roller shutter with wood-effect aluminum slats. Scheduling an appointment was quick. Three technicians arrived (why? Two would have been enough). They were on site for less than half an hour (flat rate €180). They replaced three broken fasteners (€21.63 x 3) on the roller drum. A transport fee of €50 (for a service call from Le Chesnay to Le Chesnay) was charged. The total bill was €324.35, which I find truly excessive...

However, a paper tablecloth would be a welcome addition to avoid having to place cutlery directly on the table... April 19, 2023: I'm changing my rating from 4 to 2; it has become far too expensive for what is offered.

15/05/2026: Delighted to have eaten at Café de la Paroisse today. The beef tenderloin was succulent, generously served with fries and a lovingly prepared green salad, full of added vegetables. The desserts are on the counter. They are enormous!
