19/07/2026: When I'm disappointed, I prefer not to leave a bad review, which is why I wanted to try it a second time! It turns out that even today, the meat cooking isn't perfect. Back then, I had a rare steak instead of medium-rare, and I felt awful all day the next day. This was the first time anything like this had ever happened to me in over 100 restaurants I've tried, and all in the same year! Regarding my last visit: The staff is always friendly and smiling, but just come for a drink! A €15 burger with no flavor and mediocre frozen fries; even the salad wasn't good! Personally, I was disappointed to try the roasted Camembert. It was the first time I'd ever seen one so small, especially for a main course! It was more like an appetizer, and even then, it probably didn't weigh more than 100g! The thing was just browned on top, inside it was completely liquid, no seasoning whatsoever, just plain industrial Camembert with no flavor! The charcuterie was low-quality, the only decent portion was the salad and croutons—no wonder it cost €16! What a rip-off! And for those who will see this review, or maybe even the owners, who knows! I agree that many people are being disingenuous in the comments! But you can check my profile; I've been to restaurants where you can get a burger with a drink and homemade fries, and the burger is generous and well-presented for only €10! Just like the roasted Camembert for €5 more—I've noted a restaurant with a huge portion! So it's doable. It's possible to make good, homemade food! But it lacks willpower! That'll teach me to give a second chance to a restaurant that really isn't worth it!

19/05/2026: A wonderful discovery! We were treated to an hour at the spa and a couples massage. The spa is lovely, but the ceiling and walls could use a refresh. The massage was fantastic; thank you to Charlène and Nathan, who are very professional.

19/05/2026: Superb hotel! The head receptionist upgraded us; we were delighted with the room for a last-minute booking. Special mention to the head waiter at the brasserie who was exceptionally kind and took the time to welcome us! Lovely spa area (the therapist wasn't very smiley). Very good breakfast and superb staff and food at the gourmet restaurant! We will be back!

15/09/2026: When something's good, you have to say so… but when it's exceptional, you also have to write about it! ❤️ This morning, a customer came to pick up his vehicle from our GSP33 workshops in Le Haillan and arrived with his hands full of pastries from Boulangerie Pâtisserie Le Double V in Mérignac. And wow… what a marvel! 🤩 Beautiful, delicious, generous, delectable… We were almost speechless! Pastries that are a true delight for the eyes and the taste buds. 🥐🥖 A huge congratulations to your entire team for this magnificent work, your expertise, and the quality that shines through from the very first bite. When talent is so good, you have to share it! Thank you for this delightful moment and above all… BRAVO to the entire Double V team! 👏❤️

28/06/2026: I don't understand how this restaurant can be associated with a 4-star hotel. Frankly, the hotel doesn't deserve that rating, but the restaurant falls even further short. The service was incredibly slow and disorganized, even though there were only four tables to serve. We arrived at 8:00 PM and didn't get back to our room until 10:45 PM, just for two burgers and two desserts. The entire meal was a nightmare: 30 minutes to take our order, another 30 minutes to be served, another 30 minutes to get the dessert menu, 20 minutes before someone finally came to take our dessert order, and then another 30-minute wait before we received them. The staff is completely unprofessional. The waiters and the bartender are neither friendly nor welcoming. You constantly feel like you're bothering them when you ask for something. Even worse, you have to constantly ask for bread or water, which are never brought automatically. Each request receives no response: not a word, not a glance, not even a simple "I'll bring it to you." The waiter turns on his heel and returns 15 to 20 minutes later with what was requested. A little communication would be the bare minimum of courtesy. We weren't the only ones shocked. The two customers at the next table also had to constantly ask for fresh water, bread, and even sauces for their fries. They seemed just as dismayed as we were by this lack of consideration. The organization of the bar and restaurant is also incomprehensible. When we arrived for a drink, no one greeted us or invited us to sit down. We stood in front of the bar for several minutes, the staff watching us without saying a word. It was ultimately up to us to figure out that we should go and sit down. With such a confusing layout, a little assistance would be essential. Finally, the restaurant lacks any privacy whatsoever. It feels like sitting in the hotel lobby, surrounded by guests arriving and departing. A few decorative screens or partitions would certainly help create a proper restaurant atmosphere. In short, extremely slow service, unfriendly and uncommunicative staff, poor organization, and an experience that falls far short of the standards expected of a self-proclaimed 4-star establishment. A huge disappointment.

27/07/2026: The place is warm and inviting, with a rustic decor, and serves good quality traditional French cuisine. The menu offers both cheese and dessert, which is quite rare and worth mentioning! However, we were a little disappointed by the taste of the dishes, which were ultimately rather ordinary. Nothing negative to complain about, but not exactly enchanting either.

Overall, hello, 2 half-slices, presentation €0.70 worth of pâté for asking for 1 slice. Goodbye. Otherwise, nothing to say, clean store, friendly staff, pleasant shelf stockers. Not forgetting the weighers, responsive and pleasant. And the welcome is always pleasant. Drawback: the cashiers who don't respect your products in order to go faster. Except for a few cashiers. 13/09/2026: Despite the charm of the small courtyard and the quality of the crepes, I was very disappointed with the service. The servers were understaffed, and the woman in charge of our table lacked both the enthusiasm and the charm to do her job properly. The same was true for the bar staff. Customers were treated with absolutely no attention, which completely ruined the experience.

20/06/2026: We were staying at Soho House nearby and came cross this wonderful neighbourhood restaurant! The beef bourguignon was delicious. The meat was very tender and the flavour was authentic and yet not overwhelming. 🤤🫶🏻

13/07/2026: Excellent stay for a business trip, lots of availability and attention to every request at breakfast, a really friendly and available garden at the back of the hostel, comfort, cleanliness and air conditioning that were very pleasant for this season.

19/05/2026: We organized a two-day seminar for our company, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We received a very warm welcome and enjoyed excellent meals throughout our stay. The rooms were clean and spacious. We absolutely loved the garden, a truly authentic spot on the banks of the Seine.
