08/02/2026: I booked a table for three people on February 7th, back in December. The reservation was confirmed, with several automatic reminders from the restaurant a few days beforehand. Everything was fine until I found the restaurant closed at the reserved time and date. What a disappointment! It was a surprise birthday dinner for my wife. What a shame!

As regular customers of the restaurant for several years, we celebrated our wedding at Caliu for lunch. Everything was perfect, exceeding our expectations: the quality of the food, the service, and the owners' accommodating assistance with the organization. A huge thank you! 🙏

01/03/2026: We made a reservation a week in advance, only to discover we were in the "front door" category. Charming.
When I pointed this out, the waitress casually explained that "some customers are well seated and others aren't." I had no idea seating was based on some kind of caste system. It's always enlightening.
She went on talking, "It's not our fault, this, that, and so on."
Perhaps a little training in customer service—or a position with no customer contact—would be a wise investment.

Arriving (5 of us) around 9 pm, we were quickly offered a table even though we hadn't made a reservation (though it's highly recommended).
The cuisine is high-quality gourmet, and the menu offers something for everyone. We had a lovely time that Saturday evening.
We recommend this restaurant.

A real pleasure to eat at Café de Gally.

for lunch, shopping at the garden center or for groceries, as well as for walking among the animals or
picking berries. At Café Gally, a special mention goes to
the Head Hostess who manages the waitresses with excellence and is always perfectly friendly with customers,
which makes me want to come back even more.
