22/09/2024: Fair. There are few crepe choices on the menu. For example, there are no ham and cheese crepes offered (a basic crepe that all creperies offer) so you have to pay for a full one and remove an ingredient.

We really appreciated both the quality and originality of the cuisine and the concept (dominantly plant-based, magnified by foods of animal origin and localism), the service and the setting. Special mention for the dessert around chocolate and the split pea emulsion and also for the originality of the food and non-alcoholic drink pairing (and the duty to guess the composition of the drinks served), something never seen before for us. We will come back with pleasure

12/09/2024: Products that appear simple but are superbly highlighted. Fine cuisine, full of delicacy and taste. Flavors sometimes surprising but to die for. Wine and soft food pairings are appropriate. In short, we had a great time. The service is professional, pleasant but relaxed and friendly at the same time. I'm just waiting for one thing: to be able to go back.

27/12/2025: The food overall was good. Not incredible but okay. My big issue is that almost everything was warm. Not hot food. I understand heating it might lead to overcooking but it was too cold for me (and I usually eat cold food). The food variation was okay. The selection was acceptable. My other complain is that some of the dishes were not labeled right. I recommend writing some of the allergens so people can tell what’s in them exactly. I really liked the flan. It was very tasty and well balanced. We paid 20€ for the service on a Saturday and overall it was okay.

29/11/2025: Upon arrival, I found it odd that the restaurant was practically empty, but I quickly assumed it was normal. The tray was almost empty by 8:30 PM with no refills, the food was bland, and there were bits of scales and bones in the salmon sashimi. All the desserts were frozen. I absolutely do not recommend this place.

09/12/2025: Good evening. We went there this Saturday. The atmosphere was just okay. Unfortunately, the restaurant has lost its charm with the new decor, which is certainly modern but has no connection to Leon's origins (beaches, Belgium, the name of all the mussel dishes). The aprons on each server used to give a nice, local touch from the north. Before, we had a wide selection of mussels (more than ten) and waffles too. Now there are only four or five mussel dishes, no more seafood, and a few other dishes, but nothing special. The casserole size has been reduced, as has the portion of fries. And the beer selection is limited to three amber beers. The famous Leon waffle/Grandpa Leon waffle is no longer available, even though we came specifically for it. The waitress was pleasant, but nothing more. I think the new designers are trying to appeal to a younger clientele (I'm one of them, but they've missed the mark) with a rather bland atmosphere. The Hawaiian/beach theme has nothing to do with what was presented before... it could have been improved, but we were disappointed; there were other ideas they could have used. So, we've been coming for years, but frankly, we won't be back because we're disappointed with the choice.

13/12/2025: A warm welcome from the manager. The waiter was also very pleasant. Really affordable children's menus: less than €9 for a main course, dessert, and drink. There's a playroom upstairs for children aged approximately 5-12. Quick service is available. We arrived without a reservation and were seated promptly.

12/12/2025: Appalling service: we had to ask for water several times, and sauces were missing. The meat was thrown onto a plastic plate, and the frozen fries were soggy. Extremely disappointed! I won't be going back!
