09/03/2026: Disappointed, because I was really looking forward to returning after a very successful first experience a few years ago. Unfortunately, this time, the experience didn't live up to my memories. The portions seemed quite small, and, above all, the cassoulet—which is supposed to be an iconic dish—was far too salty and seemed to have been overcooked. The quality and flavors were clearly not what we had hoped for. It's also worth noting that the promotion advertised on TheFork was ultimately not applied. This isn't necessarily a problem in itself when the meal is truly excellent, as we hadn't come for the promotion but rather to recapture the pleasure of our first visit. In the end, the bill seemed a bit steep considering the enjoyment we had, which is always a little frustrating when you have high expectations for a restaurant. That said, given the very good overall ratings, it might simply have been a slightly less efficient service that day. This can happen anywhere. So feel free to form your own opinion.

27/02/2026: An excellent experience from start to finish! The ingredients are fresh, and it shows in every dish. From appetizer to dessert, everything was absolutely delicious. Special mention also goes to the wine, which was very well chosen. The service is equally remarkable: quick, efficient, and provided by exceptionally pleasant and attentive staff. Everything was perfect. I highly recommend it and will gladly return!

26/02/2026: A delightful discovery with a menu bursting with flavors and vibrant colors. The chocolate and Timut pepper macaron was an incredible dessert. The service was impeccable and always with a smile. Thank you for this wonderful experience.

18/02/2026: Excellent value for money. Delicious dishes that are a refreshing change from other restaurants, and a very friendly welcome. The only thing that could be improved is the decor (the lighting and walls are a bit cold), but I'm just nitpicking :)

24/02/2026: I've been a regular at this restaurant for years. I've always appreciated the warm welcome, the kindness of the waiter, and the quality of the menu, which offered excellent value for money. I've accompanied many friends, and everything was perfect. What a disappointment today with four of my friends! The large dining room was divided in two by a screen, and there were no more tablecloths or cloth napkins, just a piece of bubble wrap and a paper napkin. The menu was gone, and the very attractive wine list was also gone, replaced by two set menus for €15 or €16. A few dishes were listed on a chalkboard. It's high time they got their act together, as this all points to a decline. With a bill of €328.50 for five people, one would expect better. I hope my disheartening observations will be passed on to the waiter, who, as always, did his best. A word to the wise, and I'm truly sorry.

26/02/2026: The 280g ribeye steak was fatty and sinewy, with 50% waste and very few fries. We reported this, and the response was: "We'll speak to our supplier." The bread was bland, hard, and undercooked. Meanwhile, we paid the bill without any compensation. We won't be back. Let's hope the other Buffalo Grill locations aren't like the one in Mantes.

22/03/2026: I didn't go. It's not within my retirement budget, unlike the restaurants we live 4,000 km away or in our tourist areas. In the Paris region, I cook. As for restaurants, we take advantage of our travels to satisfy our hunger in Berry, Limousin, Auvergne, Lozère, the hinterland of the southwest, and the south, where you can get very good meals for between €12 and €30, or try the "Gastronomic Mix" for between €30 and €50.

15/03/2026: The dining room was very pleasant and quiet, even though all the tables were occupied. The service was friendly and attentive. As for the food, some dishes were delicious (cromesqui, sea bream, veal sweetbreads, marbled terrine), while others were less impressive (foie gras, pollack, yogurt mousse). The dishes were beautifully presented with a lot of flavor, though sometimes the yogurt mousse had a slightly unusual salty note. The price was a bit high, especially the price of the wine glasses. In short, it was a lovely experience.

22/03/2026: A very good restaurant in the heart of Maule We had a lovely time at Le Cardinal. The cuisine is refined, the dishes are beautifully presented, and you can tell the ingredients are high quality. It's undoubtedly one of the best places in the area for a delicious meal. The welcome is warm and the setting is pleasant, ideal for a quiet dinner. However, the prices are a bit high.

16/03/2026: What a wonderful discovery this restaurant was! The setting is superb, the tables are spaced far apart, allowing you to chat without overhearing your neighbor's conversation. The dishes are delicious and generous. My grandchildren ordered burgers and they were delighted, both visually and in terms of taste. The homemade desserts are excellent (tiramisu and a perfectly gooey chocolate fondant). We were celebrating a birthday, and the owner, without saying a word, placed a small candle on the dessert (a very thoughtful touch). I highly recommend it. We will definitely return to try the terrace in the summer.

10/03/2026: A very good restaurant with excellent food and very friendly service. They automatically bring you two loaves of bread and two carafes of water. It's right off the highway and definitely worth the short detour.
