16/08/2026: A magnificent shop on Rue Napoléon in Bastiarr, dedicated to Corsican gastronomy. The welcome and service are exceptional. I had a sample of coppa, lonzo, and sausage sliced ​​for me, and a beautiful sheep's milk cheese cut into pieces. The products were excellent. We highly recommend it.

And the young team running the place is incredibly welcoming. Reservations are highly recommended.

08/08/2026: Delicious and hearty homemade food. Great service, we felt right at home. Excellent service, clean bathroom. The dishes are made with local ingredients and the desserts are homemade. There's also a children's menu. We were treated wonderfully. We made the reservation the same day; it's recommended during peak season.

04/08/2026: I never leave reviews, but this time the behavior and the way we were treated compelled me to do so. A woman strongly encouraged us to come, talking about homemade and "divinely delicious" dishes. Once seated... she completely lost interest; she was too busy touting passersby. My husband and daughter ordered calamari à la bastiaise, which was so bad they barely ate anything, and even I, who am not usually a picky eater, couldn't finish it. I tried drowning the calamari in lemon, but it was no use; it was truly disgusting. I mentioned it to the waitress, and since they hadn't eaten anything, I asked if it would be possible to have a small portion of fries to compensate, so they would have something in their stomachs. She hesitated, agreed, but the fries were ultimately charged. Only the grilled langoustines that I ordered were good. We were lured in by a sales pitch that didn't match the experience at all. It was disappointing and we won't be back.

The whole team is lovely, always smiling, and the owner deserves a special mention; his kindness and good humor made the experience even more enjoyable. And then… the food! 🤤 A festival of Corsican flavors. The migliaccioli are absolutely divine, the brocciu and mint omelet is simply incredible, and everything we tasted exuded quality, homemade quality, and a love for local products. It's the kind of place you dream of keeping secret… but it deserves to be known by everyone. If you're passing through Ghisoni, don't even hesitate: stop at Auberge A Vecchia Mina.
