16/08/2026: A magnificent shop on Rue Napoléon in Bastiarr, dedicated to Corsican gastronomy. The welcome and service are exceptional. I had a sample of coppa, lonzo, and sausage sliced ​​for me, and a beautiful sheep's milk cheese cut into pieces. The products were excellent. We highly recommend it.

And the young team running the place is incredibly welcoming. Reservations are highly recommended.

The setting is simply magnificent, authentic, and peaceful; we just didn't want to leave. The welcome is just like the place itself: warm, genuine, and familial. The whole team is lovely, always smiling, and the owner deserves a special mention; his kindness and good humor made the experience even more enjoyable. And then… the food! 🤤 A festival of Corsican flavors. The migliaccioli are absolutely divine, the brocciu and mint omelet is simply incredible, and everything we tasted exuded quality, homemade quality, and a love for local products. It's the kind of place you dream of keeping secret… but it deserves to be known by everyone. If you're passing through Ghisoni, don't even hesitate: stop at Auberge A Vecchia Mina. You'll leave with a happy stomach, a full heart, and only one desire… to return! Thank you for this wonderful experience; we will be back with immense pleasure. ❤️

04/08/2026: Avoid at all costs! A tout who pretends to be interested in you, but once seated, she goes back to accosting other passersby and ignores you the entire time. The food was disgusting. I left my plate full; it was impossible to eat, and they didn't ask any questions or offer anything in return. Shocking! 😱 She sells you a dream of homemade food, but it's nothing of the sort. Never again! 👎

04/08/2026: I never leave reviews, but this time the behavior and the way we were treated compelled me to do so. A woman strongly encouraged us to come, talking about homemade and "divinely delicious" dishes. Once seated... she completely lost interest; she was too busy touting passersby. My husband and daughter ordered calamari à la bastiaise, which was so bad they barely ate anything, and even I, who am not usually a picky eater, couldn't finish it. I tried drowning the calamari in lemon, but it was no use; it was truly disgusting. I mentioned it to the waitress, and since they hadn't eaten anything, I asked if it would be possible to have a small portion of fries to compensate, so they would have something in their stomachs. She hesitated, agreed, but the fries were ultimately charged. Only the grilled langoustines that I ordered were good. We were lured in by a sales pitch that didn't match the experience at all. It was disappointing and we won't be back.

The must-try leek fritters and the excellent homemade charcuterie are a real treat for the taste buds. Everything is good and plentiful. We come with family and friends, and they love it.
