30/08/2026: We had a great time at this establishment. The pizzas and desserts were good. The only downside: the outdoor terrace could use a few more decorations to make the place feel warmer and more inviting. As for value for money, it's excellent: for two drinks, two pizzas, and two desserts, we paid €55 for two people. I highly recommend it!

14/08/2026: I don't usually give bad reviews, but this... Elchebest is committing suicide. Aside from the setting and the good intentions of the waitress, who was around 75 years old, everything is unacceptable. The set menu is €23. No children allowed. Raw vegetables, canned mixed vegetables, one hard-boiled egg, one slice of bright pink ham... Ratatouille... Rice with squash, cheese, a piece of blue cheese and Camembert – ideal for a divorce. There's a goat farm 100 meters away... Saint-Nectaire, the signature Auvergne cheese... To finish... Canned fruit salad or ice cream... It's August! Outrageous! And of course, no chocolate flavor. That's it... I feel sorry for the ladies who think they're cooking... And frankly, the previous comments claiming homemade food... It's shameful.

29/08/2026: We came on a Friday evening, and the new owners are very welcoming and friendly. The arcade area is very pleasant, and the bowling games are even more fun with good music. It was a great time. I highly recommend this place if you want to have fun with family or friends.

06/04/2026: The welcome was, how shall I say, unlike anything I've ever experienced at this inn. The owner and his wife seem tired and worn down by pilgrims who are too... well, pilgrims whose owners give bad advice, claiming he enjoys instilling fear in them. Perhaps after 28 years of loyal service, it's time to move on and avoid appearing... incompetent to the clientele other than the locals who enjoy having drinks at lunchtime and in the evening with the owners. In short, two people probably unhappy because of their clientele... but who persevere and do their best to satisfy them.

02/12/2025: I'm writing the same review again because they deleted it despite having a phone conversation! FOOD POISONING THANKS A LOT, RIGHT?! We almost made it. We went to this restaurant on Saturday evening, November 29th. And the result? When we got home, we were vomiting badly, had diarrhea, and felt completely unwell. We went to the doctor, and he confirmed we had food poisoning. My husband and I weren't the only ones that day. I'll never set foot in there again. After calling the restaurant, they didn't even ask how the customer was feeling or offer a refund, just a "goodwill gesture" to get me to delete the review. They blamed their suppliers and basically said it wasn't their fault! It's a disgrace. I feel like these people always win... it's shameful.

28/09/2026: Surprised not to see more negative reviews… We came one evening in August and the experience was disastrous. Around us, glances were exchanged with other tables, incredulous at what was being served. Now, potato pancakes are no longer on the menu, even though they were one of the specialties that defined this establishment, and no real alternative was offered. The portions are very small and the quality of the ingredients is clearly no longer there. The pâté terrine that was passed from table to table, unlimited, and which was part of the charm of the place, is also gone. It's a real shame, because we had very fond memories of this establishment. The change of ownership is a huge disappointment.

26/09/2026: I do not recommend this establishment. The set menus are overpriced considering the portion size and quality. The "frog" menu was sold out, as were many of the desserts, even though only three tables were occupied. As for the restaurant itself, the overall cleanliness is clearly lacking: cobwebs everywhere, dead flies, gnats… Given the prices, I expected a much higher level of service and cleanliness.

03/06/2026: A particularly welcoming waitress who made me feel right at home. A set menu for €18.50 with two choices for the starter, main course, and dessert. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. A place to remember! €20 including a coffee—absolutely perfect.

22/08/2026: A very poor culinary experience! Upon arrival, we were told there was no set menu on Thursday evenings. Therefore, the choice was very limited... The portions were generous, but nothing was right! The food was piled on top of each other (chicken burger + salad + soggy, oily fries), the bun was over-toasted, and there were industrial nuggets instead of chicken. The flank steak was served with a salad and grated cheese. The meat was good, but it was swimming in a sauce that was more water than actual meat juice. The grated cheese was undercooked and not crispy at all. Again, everything was swimming in meat juice/water, salad dressing, and the undercooked egg from the grated cheese. Only the homemade desserts were good. The welcome and service were very good. I apologize for this low rating, but many aspects of some dishes need improvement. The price was far too high considering the quality of the food served.

27/08/2026: A small, old-fashioned restaurant with a unique, authentic feel. Personally, I love these little places: starter, main course, local cheese, and dessert for €15—very reasonable! Simple but delicious food, in my opinion! Flavors might criticize the interior and cleanliness; honestly, it's a bit lacking. The welcome is supposedly cold, but I didn't find it that way at all! If you enjoy quirky little village restaurants, you can definitely stop by 😜 Stop with the prejudices, form your own opinion!

11/09/2026: A wonderful discovery! I had lunch yesterday at Le Petit Plus in Brioude and had a fantastic time. The welcome was top-notch, with a special mention for Stéphanie, the owner, for her kindness, friendliness, and smile. 😊 The food was delicious, the service was efficient and pleasant, and the prices were very reasonable. Everything was perfect for a great experience: the welcome, the food, the service, and the value for money. 👍 I highly recommend it and will definitely be back! 👏😊

30/08/2026: We came to this bar and ordered two sodas. We simply asked for two glasses so we could drink them properly, but our request was refused. We find this very disappointing and unacceptable, especially since we consumed the drinks on the premises. A minimum of service and hospitality would have been appreciated. Unfortunately, we will not be returning.

11/08/2026: Excellent service, a menu with local flavors featuring good, simple and incredibly effective dishes! For a family of 5, we managed to keep our bill under €100 (food + drinks).

23/08/2026: We ate there as a party of 10: the service was a disaster, a 3-hour wait just to get our appetizers! No apologies whatsoever, and the incompetence was beyond words. I absolutely do not recommend it; avoid it at all costs!
