03/05/2026: Avoid this place. If you're not a regular, they have absolutely no consideration for new customers. It's a shame because I was really positive after reading the reviews. We waited over an hour for our main course, and as a result, we didn't even want to order dessert.

30/04/2026: Amazing restaurant. A simple menu, with just a few dishes, but all delicious and changing regularly. Meat, fish, and vegetable dishes. Excellent cocktails and a great wine list. Very friendly service. Excellent value for money.

27/04/2026: We booked the entire restaurant one evening in April for a corporate event, and we made the right choice! The food was excellent, the service was top-notch, and we loved the restaurant's elegant decor. A flawless experience.

26/05/2026: A very pleasant place; I had the pleasure of eating there on May 11th. A very friendly team with excellent servers who seemed to know their stuff, as did the cooks. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal. My only complaint is the lack of background music, like you find in some restaurants. And some small themed evenings would be fantastic. Apart from the white wine, there's nowhere else to go out. See you soon!

01/05/2026: Restaurant taken over by the ESAT d'Atout Brenne. The staff are very attentive and the food is excellent. Beautiful terrace and absolute peace and quiet.

17/07/2026: Arriving after 3 pm, the well-known roadside restaurant I was familiar with was closed, but the brasserie was open. I opted for the set menu (starter/main). The salad starter (the small one on the menu) was very good and generous, so I asked to cancel the daily special and order dessert instead, the mille-feuille. This homemade dessert, with a twist from the pastry chef, was excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant for a stopover.

17/05/2026: An excellent stay at this hotel and restaurant; highly recommended! Very quiet, a short drive over to Argenton. Accessible parking. The room was simple and modest size, but clean and fresh, w little courtyard w table and chairs behind and parking right in front, and renovated bathroom. Very good restaurant!! Friendly helpful staff and management. And the best breakfast on this 4 night trip!! Fresh orange juice, good bread and cheese, and delicious "real " croissants, not those nasty little things now often found at hotel buffet breakfasts.

25/04/2026: A lovely place to stop on your way south. A friendly, family atmosphere. The room was perfectly adequate. There was a swimming pool and jacuzzi (although the jacuzzi was closed). A very warm welcome and an excellent evening meal. It alone is worth the trip. Good breakfast.

30/06/2026: Ordered the PB wrap and it was good and easy perfect spot for a quick lunch. You go in and order on the kiosk. Although I think I messed up when I was on the kiosk because I ended up with two sides of sweet potato fries. Which I couldn’t finish eating them all. The wrap was pretty good nothing special but tasty and did the job. I also did order a side of the spicy sauce to put on it and that was really banging. Next time. I will order more of that sauce, but it was quick and easy can’t complain.

23/06/2026: This isn't the first time I've been to the Châtelet roast chicken place. Last time I had a terrible experience with a woman, but yesterday the man was very nice. However, there was no air conditioning; I felt like I was in a sauna. I find this unacceptable, especially for your employees—have pity on them—and for the customers!

15/05/2026: Magnificently restored castle. A castle just as you imagine a castle to be. Thick walls, many towers, and large, beautiful rooms.

02/06/2026: A charming little restaurant with sophisticated and refined cuisine, featuring fresh, seasonal ingredients. A feast for the eyes and the palate. The service is very pleasant. I highly recommend it! It's one of my favorite places.

28/05/2026: Hello. We've had lunch there before without any problems. Today the food was fine, as usual, however the server was very unpleasant. The welcome was icy, and the answers to our questions were very curt... Madam, you should find another line of work! In any case, we won't be back.
