24/02/2026: I saw on the map when leaving Vierzon that this restaurant was on my route. About an hour later, I was looking for a restaurant, and as if by magic, it was this very one. Charming welcome, very clean place, food served quickly, and not forgetting the quality, which was also excellent. If this restaurant is ever on my route again, I'll definitely stop by again to enjoy a delicious meal! No photos available, I ate everything in record time… Best wishes! 🏍️😌

16/12/2025: Here begins my account, proud and draped in ancient language, as befits a man of noble lineage. Traveling through the fertile lands of Touraine and the borders of Berry, where steeples tower above humble dwellings and the Church stands guard like a stone sentinel, I, Sir Ludovic de Téléton, of noble blood and renowned fame, stopped at the Auberge du Grèbe, situated on the very site of the church of Lureuil, a place worthy of receiving a traveling prince. As soon as I disembarked, I was given a place of honor, and a rich duck breast was brought to me, cooked to such perfection that many a lord would have envied such a presentation. The flesh was tender and juicy, the fat crisp like molten gold, and I reflected that many a court feast could not attain such excellence. I then summoned the servant, my gaze fixed and my voice firm, and tested him with many questions about his knowledge and skill, for no one serves Ludovico di Teleton without demonstrating their worth. He answered with humility and skill, knowing when to speak and when to be silent, a rare quality among those at the table. For this good and loyal service, and so that it would be known that I am not stingy with my generosity, I left a considerable sum as a tip, more than many lesser barons do. Thus I displayed my munificence, as befits a man of my station. And when I left the inn, everyone knew that an important personage had broken bread there. Indeed, let every traveler stop there: he will find good food, and, if he has a noble heart, cause to be as proud as I.

16/01/2026: Friendly, decent service, the soup is very good, the shrimp are fresh. 5 stars for the cleanliness of the restrooms, it's so rare.

15/01/2026: Not exactly gourmet cuisine. It doesn't taste homemade. Honestly, the price-quality ratio (€17.30) is no longer there since the price increase. On the other hand, the service in the dining room and at the bar is excellent. They might just need to change the chef.

10/12/2025: Excellent food! Having a specific dietary requirement for health reasons, the chef perfectly adapted the menu. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and will gladly return. The servers were very kind; I truly had a wonderful time. Best of luck!

14/11/2025: We stopped at this restaurant during a break on our journey. It's very well located for getting on and off the A20. We received a warm welcome and enjoyed a delicious meal with excellent service, all at a reasonable price. We had fish and chips, a mountain burger, and chocolate brownies. Parking is easy, and next to the restaurant there's a pond and a motorhome area, which is very convenient and peaceful. Thank you and all the best! 😊

Behind a once-flattering reputation, I witnessed an authoritarian and disorganized management style, marked by contempt and a complete lack of self-reflection. The resulting climate had serious human consequences for several people involved. Nothing justifies using a past image as an alibi for such toxic practices. I do not recommend it.
