I've known this place for many years and I always return with pleasure. This Tuesday, June 16, 2026, the pleasure was renewed. And I still eat just as well, in a pleasant atmosphere with attentive service. What more could you ask for?

07/05/2026: A gastronomic gem with unbeatable value for money! I've rarely enjoyed a lunch menu of this quality at such a reasonable price. Starter, main course, and dessert for only €20! L'Ecuelle d'Or is definitely worth a visit to Clairac, this charming little town, admittedly a bit isolated, but very pleasant. With this level of culinary mastery, you absolutely must (re)discover this establishment where gastronomy truly comes to life. To top it all off, the welcome is extremely pleasant, both warm and familial. A must-visit in the Lot-et-Garonne (department 47)!

30/06/2026: It's a shame the service was so slow between courses... there were only 4 tables occupied, but we waited almost 15 minutes for the dessert menu... we'd had this problem before, we attributed it to being busy, but tonight there were very few people... it spoiled the experience because the meat was excellent...
