01/06/2026: Thank you to Stéphanie and Ibrahim for making this birthday lunch so enjoyable! The service was brisk, with many customers and few staff. Stéphanie and Ibrahim managed to maintain their smiles and professionalism. The flavors and colors were perfect.

31/05/2026: We came to the Bistro restaurant in April for lunch on a Saturday and we really enjoyed it! What a disappointment on our second visit! We had booked a table on the terrace for that Saturday lunchtime. When we arrived, there was no one at the bar; we had to go inside to find someone! We told him we had a reservation for two people, and he offered us a table... wait, no, sorry, we had a reservation on the terrace! Okay, fine, he escorted us outside, and there, surprise, no table set, the floor hadn't been swept. Oh well, no big deal, he set a table for us and swept. The aperitif went smoothly, and we had ordered a plate of foie gras each, but what a disappointment! A slice of foie gras was very crudely arranged on a plate swimming in its own yellow fat, with a small brioche. And to top it off, the foie gras wasn't even cold; it was completely soft and soggy! What a letdown! Where is the refinement of this establishment? What a shame, we won't be going back!

23/11/2024: Tout simplement excellent, cadre simple, très bon accueil,plats du terroir avec un petit quelque chose en plus qui donne une saveur particulière, café gourmand excellent .Rapport qualité prix très bien (18€ entrée plat dessert le midi)

18/09/2024: Nous étions venus suite à la lecture des précédents avis élogieux. A croire qu'il ne s'agit pas du même restaurant ou bien que les avis précédents sont des avis de complaisance. Tout d'abord, nous avons attendu 1 heure pour avoir le plat principal, après un apéritif et une entrée minimaliste sans intérêt. Quant au plat .... la viande n'était pas cuite et les frites trop cuites et pas croustillantes. Le poisson était insipide. Il baignait dans une sauce claire et les légumes qui l'accompagnaient étaient tout juste tièdes sans saveur et trop cuits. Bref, ce n'était vraiment pas ce qu'on appelle de la bonne cuisine. D'autres clients autour de nous n'étaient pas contents non plus. Bref, une bien piètre expérience.

27/05/2026: I stumbled upon this tea room by chance, and it was a wonderful discovery. The place is decorated with great taste and care, and the owner is particularly warm and welcoming. I thoroughly enjoyed the salad and the ratatouille quiche; they were absolutely delicious. The location is magnificent, right next to the historic bridge, with a terrace offering a superb view of the Lot River and the old facades on the right bank. I highly recommend it! 😊

26/04/2026: We came in to ask for a simple question at the beginning of service, around 1 p.m., when the terrace was quite full. Politely and with a smile, we asked if it was possible to have a drink. The response was particularly curt: “Here, our focus is on feeding people.” A shame, because the next question would have been when to come back and make a reservation for our next visit. When you see that the parking lot can be deserted on a Saturday night, you understand that a warm welcome plays a crucial role in building customer loyalty. New to the village, we were looking for a pleasant place to return to regularly and that we could recommend. Given the reception we received, we'll think twice.
