22/08/2024: But what a wonderful welcome! We stopped for one night at the hen by bike in the caravan and it will go down as an excellent time. Delicious meal and ice cream. A little corner of paradise in the middle of nowhere!

21/08/2024: Very nice place at the edge of the lock along the canal and the railway line. Unusual accommodation for a comfortable night in nature in a superbly appointed caravan. The welcome is friendly, the menu quality.

02/11/2024: Omelette délicieuse avec salade et du très bon pain. Service parfaite et des prix très raisonnable. Quelle plaisir d’avoir ce restaurant à Villeneuve.

15/08/2024: Fab pizzeria. Ate here one evening in August. Owner (+dog) both very friendly / chilled. Seemed to be open later than suggested closing time of 8pm. Pizzas fantastic - and filling. Lots of locals picking up pizzas to take away too. Easy drinking wine by the glass (+filled to the brim). Only disappointment was that we finished our pizzas and didn't have space for an ice cream. Maybe next year...

16/11/2024: I love this restaurant. I haven’t stayed on the campsite. The ambience is great. Service excellent and the food is wonderful. Combined with good wines and special offers, in my humble opinion, can’t go wrong. I wish it were closer to us.

25/08/2024: Het eten was lekker, hoewel niet precies wat we besteld hadden. We kregen een pepersaus terwijl we een blauwe kaassaus besteld hadden, het vlees was medium rare gebakken in plaats van bloederig. De rode schors had kurk. Maar wat met name tegenviel was de bediening die alles te veel moeite vond en je niet aan keek. Het leek wel of er ruzie was.

06/10/2024: Man. What a top address. I called Karen and the same evening I was allowed to move in. Karen and Rolf are super nice. You can contact them for any question. The houses are in a very quiet location. But is not far to the historic village of Monflanquin. This is highly recommended and the most beautiful place I stayed during my road trip through France and Spain. Thanks to Karen and Rolf. See you again ❤️

24/09/2024: A beautiful place! We stayed in Le Menuisier with our family with 3 young kids. Lovely space and a nice atmosphere. The outside is also very spacious with plenty of space to relax or for the kids to play. Nice markets and villages nearby. The hospitality of Karen and Rolf, daughter Danne's welcome meal, the massage and evening babysitting completed it all and we certainly plan to come back!

01/12/2024: This restaurant deserves its reputation. We ordered sushi and the divine platter lived up to its name! Remarkably fresh products with perfect rice. Truly excellent!!

08/09/2024: Very good evening in this creperie where the new owners welcome you with good humor. The pancakes are excellent and hearty, prepared with fresh quality products. Coming as neighbors of St Laurent, we will come back.

15/08/2024: Little discovery of the day... The restaurant the decor the service the welcome nothing to say.. Very friendly and very pleasant.. Cuisine levels wide choice and very good quality.. The plates are copious.. Just the starter and the main course for my part I was broken. The cider was of very good quality and very cold after our outings in this heat, it was just perfect for cooling off. So my only little complaint, yes, I had to find something 😉😉the price of the lovers' cocktail is a little excessive if I may say so.. Otherwise, another great discovery that I highly recommend to you yesss for those with a sweet tooth, the desserts are super plentiful... We will come back 😉

11/11/2024: Where to start… As soon as we arrive we feel like we're disturbing, not a word from the owner who welcomes us, just a nod and a hasty seating. Not a smile, nothing... Maybe she's mute? In terms of dishes, I took a “mezzo/mezzo” pizza with a half 4 cheese, which only contained gruyere… The frozen dough was obviously not cooked… for a pizzeria it might be a good idea to do your homemade dough and knowing how to cook it. For the rest of the filling, it’s very simple, absolutely EVERYTHING was defrosted. From the tomatoes to the bacon, everything was filled with water... at least I'm not thirsty, that's always what it is. Monsieur took some seafood pasta, very salty (he's thirsty at the moment, the metro seafood defrosted 10 seconds ago was not enough to hydrate him...) Considering the meal we obviously didn't have desserts so I wouldn't know what to say about the sweet side. At the time of the bill, still not a word from the boss, nor a smile, nor even a blink of an eye, a statue without emotions after all. She placed the bill on the bar, the TPE next to it, murmured a scathing “thank you. » Phew! She is ultimately not mute. The little kid in the room is struggling to do his best, fortunately he was there. As we know, catering is a profession of passion. If we are too tested, we can also think about retraining… A word to the wise!
