20/04/2026: A complete disaster! A tourist trap! I wanted to spend a romantic first anniversary with my sweetheart at this restaurant. What a disaster – it was so awful, I cried. No joke. First, we were greeted by a child. At first glance, cute; the daughter helps out in the restaurant. On second thought: oh, a child is being exploited and working all evening in the restaurant. Now for the food. The nuts: rotten. The seafood didn't taste fresh either; I only managed one bite. The ravioli tasted like they'd been made by an 8-year-old. No, actually, that's too harsh. Even the dessert couldn't save it: a pre-made lava cake, and the panna cotta was a slap in the face. To top it all off, they tried to rip us off and charged us different prices than those on the menu. Unprofessional. When I told the server we weren't happy, she just nodded pityingly. I think this restaurant is a scam; don't fall for it. ... Furthermore, the ambiance is completely overkill kitsch, and the fish in the bathtub are a terrible form of animal cruelty.

10/04/2026: I had the opportunity to discover Cigkoftem and I truly had a wonderful time. From the moment I arrived, I received a very warm welcome and was served by Orhan Abi, who greeted me with a smile and took the time to advise me thoroughly throughout my order. I also found the owner to be very kind, friendly, and welcoming, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The products offered are fresh and flavorful, and this is immediately apparent in the dishes. I particularly appreciated the light and healthy nature of the cuisine, perfect for the season. It's truly an ideal place, especially for summer, with fresh ingredients and flavorful recipes. A very positive experience that I highly recommend.

09/04/2026: Despite the beautiful professional photos on their Instagram account, the reality was quite different during our lunch. Just an off day? Perhaps… aside from the foie gras and the trompe-l'œil vanilla dessert, the rest of the dishes didn't live up to our expectations. The mini grilled chorizos with the cold coconut salad were disappointing, as were the seared scallops, which ended up mushy from contact with the tasteless grapefruit hummus. As for the hot chocolate mousse, it was more like lukewarm chocolate cream covering a tiny scoop of peanut ice cream. The outdated gray polyester napkins need replacing, and the cleanliness of the cutlery needs improvement. And don't even get me started on the service—barely a hello, a thank you, a goodbye.

13/12/2025: I went here with my girlfriend a week ago, and the experience was delightful. The restaurant is really authentic, everything is homemade, the waiter is kind, and the chef/owner is really welcoming. If I come back to Lyon, I'll come back for sure!

10/04/2026: The pizza was delicious with a light, thin crust. We ordered the 4 cheese and diavolu. Both delicious. Not strong Gorgonzola on the 4 cheese. Melanie our waitress provided 10/10 service. Very quaint area and sat outside people watching during lunch. Highly recommended

25/04/2026: A charming and welcoming place, as is its wonderful owner Mado, who was immediately very friendly with our group. The atmosphere reminds me of a time I didn't have the chance to experience. Mado is like a second mother to me now, to the point that I'm considering moving to Lyon to prolong this feeling. Simply exceptional.

02/03/2026: I discovered this restaurant. Its concept of "open-faced sandwiches" at affordable prices is original—except for the oysters: only 4 plus a small glass of white wine for 10 euros... But everything else is varied, with generous portions, and the waitress is welcoming and friendly with a smile! Well located on the peninsula. I recommend it for a lunch or dinner break—original and very pleasant, almost like stepping out of a tourist trap!

01/05/2026: The setting is incredible: dim, intimate, and hushed, filled with curiosities. Without a doubt, the most intimate restaurant I've had the pleasure of trying in Lyon. The dishes were delicious, and the service impeccable. The servers perfectly reflect the ambiance: discreet, knowledgeable, very pleasant, and full of helpful advice. In short, it's flawless: the food is delicious, the ambiance is beautiful, and you enter a bubble, a little cocoon cut off from the world for the duration of your meal. Thank you all for the wonderful time spent at your establishment, for the service and the cuisine!

05/04/2026: Upon arrival, sitting on the terrace, everything was fine until I went inside and clumsily spilled a drink. The waiter's "very direct" judgment: "Well, I'm not refilling your glass, you understand..." LOL. You have potential, it's a shame to have this kind of judgment and attitude...
