12/05/2026: The chicken supreme on the menu was a very dry half-thigh, clearly cooked the day before and reheated in the microwave. The fries were soggy. I asked for extra sauce, but it was bland and sickeningly sweet, like a supermarket salad dressing—nothing homemade. The daily special was an overcooked pork chop. We left hungry and didn't even bother ordering dessert. There were very few customers, which explains it.

Honestly, the service is impeccable and always with a smile, which is so rare in restaurants these days that it's really worth mentioning! You immediately feel welcome; it's a real pleasure. And let's talk about the food: the dishes are authentic and homemade, a true delight for the taste buds. I wholeheartedly recommend these delicious dishes; they're so good you practically eat them with your mouth open! It's truly the perfect place for a gourmet break when you're in the area. If you ever find yourself in Gaillac, don't hesitate to make a detour to Fernand's. I'm sure you won't be disappointed!

The balance of flavors was flawless, and the little touches of originality were delightful. For dessert, the strawberry parfait and the melon/watermelon salpicon were incredibly fresh and fruity, and the balsamic reduction was divine! The prices reflect the quality and service, but we highly recommend it!

22/07/2026: We had dinner at Cascarbar. The waitress was very nice, however, our vegetarian lasagna was very disappointing… The dish shouldn't even be called lasagna since it had nothing to do with lasagna. The manager was unfriendly.
