28/12/2025: A wonderful discovery in L'Isle-sur-Tarn! Excellent wood-fired cuisine and a warm welcome. I highly recommend discovering this restaurant and its friendly owners 👍🏽. We tried everything: lamb shank, ribeye steak, beef stew... everything was excellent.

15/02/2026: For years we've walked past it and promised ourselves we'd go, and we finally did! What a shame we didn't go sooner… The welcome was excellent despite a mix-up with the reservation, but they found us a perfect table. The dishes were beautifully presented, with just the right amount of food—not too much, not too little (we were full, but not stuffed either). The quality of the ingredients was excellent; the beef was incredibly tender. My comparison is with dessert, which I always order, and the crème brûlée from Les Petits Chefs Gourmands is in my top five—excellent, perfectly smooth, and not too sweet—simply perfect. I wholeheartedly recommend this friendly, family-run place.

The set three-course menu at €47, including an amuse-bouche and pre-dessert, is a real success. The cooking is perfect, the flavors are vibrant, and the presentation is impeccable. Bravo!
