29/08/2024: nos amis hollandais tenait à tout prix à aller à ce restaurant que nous avions réservé. Il tombe quatre gouttes et ce restaurant ferme ses portes simplement sans prévenir les clients. Lorsque nous avons dit quelque chose, on nous a répondu qu’il ne pouvait pas téléphoner à tout le monde et qu’ils avaient peur que le temps se dégrade. drôle de façon de travailler, et nous n’y retournerons jamais

26/08/2024: Malgré le superbe emplacement, et un endroit que nous connaissons depuis des années, nous ne pouvons que constater la dégradation du service et l’amabilité du personnel. Nous étions passés en personne et avions clairement été noté en bord de terrasse ce qui a posé problème à notre arrivée et le serveur a clairement montré son agacement. Il s’agirait tout simplement de mieux s’organiser. Nous étions en famille mais en couple, nous serions partis car nous n’allons pas au restaurant pour etre stressés. Ce n’est pas la première fois mais nous ne le recommanderons plus dans notre location de vacances à ce stade. Différence radicale par rapport à notre expérience passée, peut-être un changement de propriétaire ou de personnel qui a perdu la notion du service au client au passage

28/09/2024: En julio de este año he reservado dos habitaciones para nosotros y mis amigos para finales de octubre, pero como estaba en la zona a finales de septiembre, decidí ir allí para visitar el lugar. Hermosa ubicación tranquila en un parque maravilloso. Ambiente increíble. La habitación era relativamente pequeña con una cama demasiado suave para mi gusto, por otro lado la almohada era bastante dura. Lamentablemente no hay cena a la carta, solo el “Menú sorpresa” en el llamado “Restaurante Gourmet Le M”. Lleno de expectativas fui por el menú de 5 platos. Por supuesto, los gustos difieren de persona a persona, pero al menos para mí fue una gran decepción. Combinaciones muy especiales, probablemente consideradas creativas, extrañas como “Gnochi, cerebro de cerdo (! ) , Espuma de trufas con un topping de caviar” o “Cordero, glaseado, con topping de algas”. Para mí todo sabía raro, nada de lo que disfruté y me gustaría comer de nuevo. En consecuencia pedí cancelar nuestra reserva para noviembre y como todavía estoy dos meses antes de tiempo y debido a la experiencia decepcionante pedí una reducción del cargo de cancelación. Se negaron y cobraron el precio completo. Gracias por nada. Ciertamente nunca, nunca más.

03/07/2024: Petit conseil, demandé à manger dans la partie véranda de la salle et au plus proche de la verrière ainsi vous aurez le loisir de profiter de la vue sur le parc. C'est le ravissant sourire d'Alix qui nous accueillit. Il n'y a pas de carte des plats, mais un menu surprise (du chef) qui est décliné en 3 - 4 ou 5 plats. Mention toute particulière pour le dessert frais et fruité, une agréable gourmandise. Une carte très correcte des vins permets de déguster quelques pépites originales (pour notre part nous avons été très bien conseillés sur "La Cadène", attention très peu de bouteilles disponibles ! Les plats sont très bons et la présentation soignée. Petit bémol pour le second restaurant "Bistro" le choix de plats est faible et on a vite fait le tour si l'on reste plus de 2 à 3 jours.

31/08/2024: Tre déçue : Personnel très sympa, mais j’ai été hallucinée du poisson du jour annoncé qui s’est avéré être un filet de daurade picard !! ( je les connais particulièrement bien car j’en consomme plusieurs fois par semaine, ils sont calibrés d’une manière facilement identifiable) .. honteux

19/08/2024: Un endroit où il faut absolument mangé à Avignon. Super moment avec des serveurs et serveuses au TOP, très attentionnée envers leurs clients, et le patron également. Une cuisine très soignée et succulentes. MERCI à tous et un petit clin d’œil à TOTO. ps: notre chien VASCO vous remercie également de l’attention que vous lui avez porté.

06/03/2026: A terrible place. The food was poor and very expensive. I told them I couldn't have rice and asked for fries instead, and they charged me extra for a plate of fries. Bad service.

27/06/2026: What a pleasure to have rediscovered this estate in its new setting! The new management has breathed new life into it, both through the renovations and the exceptionally friendly staff. Congratulations and all our best wishes for the future. A big thank you to Charlotte, Anouk, Violette, and Capucine. We highly recommend the estate; a truly relaxing experience.

09/06/2026: A wonderful discovery! Since Eric and Charlotte took over, Domaine de la Grange Neuve has been restored to its former glory. The rooms, completely renovated with exquisite taste, are magnificent and very comfortable. Violette's cooking is excellent, generous, and bursting with Provençal flavors. Anouk's service is outstanding: smiling, attentive, and highly professional. Congratulations to Eric and Charlotte on this great success! We wholeheartedly recommend this place! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

18/08/2024: As one of our favourite movies is "A Good Year" which some scenes were filmed here we really wanted to visit. We ordered our food and paid via the QR code on the table. Having waited for 45 minutes we asked one of the waiters when we can expect our food, he went away & came back with a handful of tickets asking us which one was our order, we advised him (even though the table number was on the ticket and our electronic receipt). He then advised us that the food would be with us shortly and it was although it was very poor indeed, they couldn't even manage to get the chips right as they were overcooked and hard. We were very disappointed and would not return. The movie quoted "McDonalds Avignon, Fish & Chips Marseille allez" Think this would have been a better option :(

17/08/2024: Carte très limitée. A l'image des portions proposées. Pas de menu enfant. Un vrai piège à touristes. On commande par internet. Pratique mais pas très humain. Très déçu. Pourtant le cadre est di beau et la terrasse très sympa.

22/04/2025: We had a wonderful meal at La Lyriste. The three-course menu was surprisingly delicious. Every dish was carefully prepared and very flavorful. The children's menu was also surprising; not the standard fries and chicken nuggets, but a smaller version of the menu that was also carefully considered. The atmosphere was relaxed, and the staff was friendly and attentive. We would definitely eat there again.

21/09/2024: Most unfriendly welcome from gruff manager who told us he was the proprietor. Never met a proprietor in the whole world who couldn’t have cared less no wonder only 12 persons in the restaurant. Wouldn’t let us eat outside because of weather even though we were happy to take risk. Food really poor. Chablis was ok. Service unfriendly and unhelpful in that no attempt to speak Anglais.. We were here as a couple at end of June/early July and it was buzzy and food great. Maybe Autumn arrives very early in Menerbes 20th Sept.

15/09/2024: Wir kennen das Bistro le 5 seit 5 Jahren. Seitdem es einen neuen Besitzer hat (französische Kette?), ist es -mit Ausnahme der Einrichtung und des tollen Blicks- nicht mehr wieder zu erkennen. Die Qualität des Essens ist nur „okay“, für die Preise aber nicht akzeptabel. Ravioli Trüffel waren ungefüllte Nudeln mit viel zu viel Sahnesauce. Das feine, geschmacklich besondere, ist völlig abhanden gekommen. Der Salade César war ein „dahingeklatschtes Ensemble“. Gefragt, wie es uns geschmeckt hat, wurden wir nicht. Das Personal wirkt zusammengewürfelt und nicht der Location angemessen. Außer zu einem Drink auf der Terrasse werden wir dort nicht mehr hingehen. Preis-Leistung für das Essen stimmt nicht.

A special thank you to Hugo and Léa, who helped us organize a last-minute gender reveal during our stay. We had only just received the results before arriving and reached out on short notice. They went above and beyond to help us create a truly memorable moment, exceeding all of our expectations. Their kindness, enthusiasm, and attention to detail made the experience incredibly special for us and is something we will never forget. 30/04/2026: This hotel offers a relaxed, luxurious escape with the enchanting feel of a small French village. The atmosphere is effortlessly elegant, with refined pools that are as beautiful as they are serene. Lush landscaping surrounds the property. The Michelin-star restaurant, La Bastide, was truly exceptional, delivering an unforgettable, flawless dining experience. Mornings were made even better with a lovely breakfast with views and the buffet dessert bar was always a delightful indulgence at lunch. The truffle pizza is a must. Every moment here felt charming, sophisticated, and wonderfully memorable.
