01/06/2026: I'm only giving it 4 stars. The only downside of the day was the air conditioning. I was cold for a good part of the afternoon. That blower blasting cold air was very unpleasant. It's warm outside, which is nice, but not with such a big difference compared to the outside temperature. 🫤 The meal was excellent, and the waiters/waitresses were very friendly. The show was very enjoyable.

10/05/2026: Patagos! 🤩 A real treat, they're like clams but even better. The crepes and galettes are also delicious and generously filled. The service is quick and friendly. Reservations aren't possible, so arrive early to be sure of getting a table. I highly recommend it!

03/05/2026: We had dinner last night with our children and it was delicious. From the charcuterie board to the meats cooked over a wood fire (beef, chicken, or duck breast skewers), everything was excellent. The service was also very pleasant. We will definitely return on our next visit to La Tranche.

29/05/2026: Always top-notch for many years. Absolutely nothing to complain about. A must-visit if you're in Île-d'Olonne.

28/05/2026: Les Sables D’Olonne has become a nightmare to find parking. Not so much now but as the weeks run into a busier season, it can be torture. We found this restaurant on maps and decided to give it a try. Overall we enjoyed an excellent meal. Quality ingredients. Great service. I chose the €38 menu. I thoroughly enjoyed my crab quinoa starter and sea bass with delicious veg main course. Hubby had €28 menu. He adored the goats cheese roasted peppers starter followed by excellent ribs and chips. We had a pichet 50cl of rosé (€6). Dessert for me was a brioche caramel ice cream heavenly experience! Hubby had caramel mouse choc dish. He preferred mine! 2 cafe cremes. Overall we paid €76. We’re thrilled to have found a “hidden gem”.

17/06/2026: We had another wonderful evening at Di Matteo. We had a choice of rooms and opted for the more intimate setting of our son's birthday party, rather than the larger, more communal atmosphere of the World Cup. The entire team was incredibly attentive. And all these professional qualities were being passed on to a young woman in training. Bravo!

17/05/2026: Excellent Thai restaurant, everything is homemade, the flavor is there and you can taste it. It's a small all-you-can-eat buffet with hot and cold appetizers, main courses, and desserts, but it's more than enough. Reservations are recommended, otherwise you can take away. The portions are very generous, and the prices are reasonable. Friendly service, easy parking. In short, much better than the American snacks at Puy du Fou, and it's just a 15-minute drive away.

13/05/2026: A fantastic restaurant! The service is always incredibly friendly (four times in total); the food is excellent and reasonably priced (around €30 for two people). We've always ordered takeout, and the wait has never exceeded 15 minutes. I highly recommend it!

16/05/2026: Le Fatra, much more than a restaurant. A delightful escape, a treat for both the eyes and the palate. A magnificent setting and view, just like the cuisine that transports you. The welcome and service are perfect, attentive, and full of helpful advice. I booked online for my husband's birthday; it was a surprise. I simply indicated "Mr.'s Birthday." We were touched by the simple yet elegant candle at dessert—just the right touch. A wonderful place to discover.
