05/08/2026: We ate there with a friend and our teenage daughters for lunch today.
Out of five meals, only one was really good; at least one of the girls ate well.
I ordered my burger well-done, but it arrived rare, just like the other two burgers, which were undercooked.
And let's not even talk about the steak tartare.
In short, if you want to eat cold, undercooked, and tasteless food, I recommend it.
05/08/2026: What can I say… We were a table of five near the kitchen. The atmosphere? Throughout lunch, the head chef, who is apparently also the owner, did nothing but shout. A small suggestion: before yelling at the entire staff, it would be a good idea to serve some decent food. The burger buns were cold, the patties were tiny, and they weren't cooked to the requested standard. And to top it all off, the beef tartare was full of capers and tasted awful. The only positive point was the curry skewer. The servers do their best despite the poor organization. A restaurant to avoid.

20/06/2026: The bald guy at the grocery store or restaurant entrance was very unpleasant. We arrived around 5:15 PM. The restaurant was open, no one was there. I went to the restroom and washed my hands, and my girlfriend told me it was closed. He then said, "Can't you see it's closed?" and called me rude, even though his door was open. He even told us not to come here, not to eat here again tonight—unheard of! And when I looked it up online, it said the restaurant opens at 5 PM, so it was definitely open.
20/06/2026: The owner of the grocery store isn't very friendly; I don't recommend it.

03/09/2026: Horrible welcome and service!!
I have never had such a bad experience in a restaurant. The welcome was deplorable, accompanied by snide remarks throughout the meal. For a moment, I even wondered if it was a joke. Having worked as a waiter in high-end restaurants, I understand why, when we came in the middle of summer, there was hardly anyone there! Not to mention that the price quoted was €30, but on the card reader, they charged us €3 more without me realizing it, and all this without even mentioning that the food wasn't good.
03/09/2026: I never write Google reviews, but this time I think it's worth it.
One of the worst experiences I've ever had. After a day of hiking with a colleague, we found this small, rather charming restaurant.
The manager's welcome was appalling; he spoke rudely to us throughout the entire service, making snide remarks with every order. (Perhaps our physical characteristics bothered him.)
We ordered camembert toast, and it was burnt.
Furthermore, when we got home, we realized that €4 had been added to the bill.
I absolutely do not recommend this restaurant.

07/09/2025: I used to come here during my childhood for the welcome and the friendliness. I went back on Saturday, September 6. I was very disappointed to run away. The owner yelled at her son for over 30 minutes. The gentleman was there with him, it should have been a relaxing moment, but I was more eager to leave. What a shame...
01/09/2025: Table reserved for 7 elderly people (aged 75 to 90). The welcome was not at all warm. We were confined between a partition and another table, even though there was no one else in the restaurant. It was impossible to move around. The wait for our food was very long, the rosé wine was not fresh and served in water glasses, and the mussels were reheated and dry. We complained to the owner, who felt attacked. This place should be avoided, which is exactly what we should have done!!!
Deserves no stars.

01/09/2026: A decent restaurant. Simple buffet service and reasonable value for money. Very pleasant staff, attentive to our requests. The piano music is a lovely touch and adds a pleasant ambiance to lunchtime.
31/08/2026: The meal was very average. The pianist was playing much too loudly, especially since we were right in front of her. It wasn't a concert, but it must have been background music.

20/08/2026: Driving 20 minutes because I really wanted a Subway, only to arrive and find that the opening hours listed online don't match those of the store… Very disappointed.
25/07/2026: Thinking it was open because of the hours shown on Google Maps, we found ourselves in front of a closed door. There was no indication of opening hours on the storefront.
After walking around, we returned to a handwritten note saying "open."
What a disappointment! The woman who served us didn't seem to want to be there, offering only a sigh and barely a greeting, and no explanation of the ingredients.
She even forgot to put on gloves when taking our order.
I don't think that's acceptable.

13/02/2026: Poor quality food, the fries were burnt on the outside and undercooked on the inside, there was no sauce in the taco, and it was full of water, probably due to the ingredients being frozen. Very poor quality, avoid at all costs
07/11/2025: To begin with, the welcome was unpleasant. There was no one at the counter to take my order; they seemed to prefer smoking outside the establishment. Once my order was taken (without washing their hands), I noticed that everything had been left out in the open. Furthermore, the furniture was also dirty, the fries reeked of oil that had been sitting in the fryer for 15 days, and a three-meat taco had no fries inside, but the grease was still there.
A price that seemed reasonable suddenly became less so.

18/08/2024: Ayant réservé pour trois, nous avons déjeuné, comme prévu en terrasse. Au niveau de l'addition pas de surprise, quant au service ce fut top les serveurs sont très réactifs, excellente présentation (très pros, bravo les jeunes !). Nous sommes régulièrement à proximité de la Tranche depuis près de 20 ans !), n'ayant pas de monnaie, lors de mon paiement en CB, je voulais augmenter (comme ça se fait dans d'autres commerces) mon paiement (avec une touche spéciale) mais comme (semble-t-il) ça n'allait pas directement aux serveurs-ses j'y ai renoncé à mon grand regret (encourager nos jeunes c'est important !). Si la présentation des plats était soignée, j'ai été très étonné de la taille des morceaux de poissons (des carrés) et de l'absence d'une moule et d'une crevette voire d'une petite pomme de terre (au minimum) dans la choucroute de mer commandée (j'en ai mangé une brasserie Georges à Lyon rien à voir !) ? Quant au dessert (choisi) le Tiramitsu ne m'a pas laissé un souvenir impérissable (beaucoup trop de mousse blanche (chantilly ?)...) dans un verre. Je me suis fait une réflexion faut-il éviter de venir déjeuner en saison (vu le nombre de clients les parts sont - elles rognées ?) car hors saison (j'ai déjeuné en avril à l'équinoxe) rien à dire ?
16/08/2024: Accueil un peu sec à l'arrivée.
Nous n'avions pas reservé mais peu importe.
Nous avons pris le plateau royal de la mer, il est très bien servi. Les crevettes sont bien charnues, bulots et langoustines de bonne qualité. Le cuisinier avait juste oublie le tourteaux que nous avons dû demander.
Les autres plats sont bien egalement.
La serveuse est venue plusieurs fois afin de voir si notre dejeuner se passait bien et a débarassé plusieurs fois afin de nous liberer de l'espace. Elle etait bien sympathique.
Cest la seconde fois que nous venons lors de nos vacances en vendée.
