08/03/2026: We loved it! The menu featured excellent dishes, top-quality ingredients, and beautifully presented plates. The intimate atmosphere was a welcome change from noisy places. While quality comes at a price, it was well worth the trip. We were delighted and will definitely return.

14/01/2026: We spent last New Year's Eve enjoying a fantastic seven-course meal with great music. Considering the portion sizes, €145 was absolutely not too much to pay. After the fifth course, we were already more than full, but we had to at least try the last few courses.

02/07/2026: The food is not good. Biriyani was squishy and not tasty. Just adding too kuch masala and rice does not make a good biriyani. I wasted my money.

19/05/2026: Good experience at the Alsatian Tavern: I had a very good meal; the tarte flambée was delicious. The atmosphere was warm and friendly. The servers were also friendly and the service pleasant. You can tell it's a very popular tourist spot. The only real downside (for me) is the lack of space between the tables; they're really very close together (20cm apart). So you have to like fairly cramped places. Personally, it's not really the kind of atmosphere I enjoy. But it's still a good place to eat a good tarte flambée in Gérardmer 😊

17/08/2026: I went here twice in one week and the staff is extremely friendly, the food is visually appealing and delicious, and every plate I saw made me want to try it. Finally, the place is very cozy; you feel right at home. I highly recommend it and would definitely go back.

16/08/2026: We had a very pleasant time at this establishment. The welcome was friendly and the food very tasty. The prices are typical, but the quality is truly exceptional. The one-star deduction is due to a few details that could be improved. Firstly, the decor doesn't really reflect the restaurant's name (which, however, is well represented on the plate). Secondly, the service. While friendly, a few things need addressing. For example, syrups were served with lukewarm water, and a beer overflowed upon opening, with the excuse, "Sorry, it's because it's warm." These details didn't spoil our experience at this restaurant, but they would enhance its appeal. Thank you for a wonderful time, and we hope to see you again soon.
