09/09/2024: Very good hostel ideally located, easy to access with parking. The decor is nice. The welcome and the service are top notch and fast. The dishes are delicious and generous and the prices reasonable

08/10/2023: A hostel well located for hiking to Lac de la Maix. The menu is unique and we enjoyed charcuterie, tartiflette, pear belle Hélène in a rustic setting reminiscent of a stable. The welcome was very friendly and smiling.

10/09/2024: When we arrived at this wonderfully beautiful place and saw the “clean slate” of the guest room, we had no idea what horror would befall us when we looked into the stable: a completely neglected, dirty stable, covered in excrement, the food bowls beneath all dignity. We hoped we wouldn't find any living creatures here. But unfortunately, a very young calf with completely dirty straw, stained with feces and urine was standing unhappy in this dark hole. Likewise piglets, the same cruel fate. Chains, ready to chain? What are people capable of, I ask myself. Why can't these creatures be treated humanely? Be grateful to the animals for giving us milk and meat? If I had known what kind of cruel animal abusers lived on the farm, I would have had a bite stuck in my throat! I will never visit this place again and hope for a HIGHER justice that will put a quick end to this activity.

13/07/2024: While passing through Uxegney, we discovered a "real pizza chef" who not only makes excellent pizzas with good fresh produce but who also loves his job, it shows! Very friendly welcome, pleasant little terrace: we highly recommend! The 2 Dijon people cycling on the blue lane. We took the Vosgienne and the Lebanese but there were plenty of others we wanted too :)

30/09/2024: As a family of 11 adults and two young children we ate on the first floor of the establishment no criticism only pleasure the staff and the plates are friendly and well served recommended if you are in the area

22/09/2024: Restaurant discovered today, it was very, very good, lots of choice, it feels homemade, it is well served, and quickly. The welcome and service were perfect. The chef and her staff are very friendly and the prices are reasonable. Nothing to say, except that it was a great discovery, to be recommended!

23/09/2024: In Épinal for training, looking for something to eat, my husband and I stopped at this establishment for dinner. I don't regret it at all, a warm welcome, dishes with a flavor to guarantee you a change of scenery, made with the right amount of spices...in short, a delight and if you pass by there, stop... .

17/09/2024: Very good dishes, full of flavors! The room is small, we had no difficulty (on a Sunday evening) but in high season, it is safer to book. The server/manager is kind and attentive to customers. We are vegan and were able to eat without difficulty (vegetable biryani and many vegan starters)

20/08/2024: Via een toeristische route met de auto op weg naar Epinal stuitten we toevallig op dit restaurant. De buitenkant oogde niet bijzonder gezellig, maar het was handig parkeren en we hadden trek. Eenmaal binnen werden we prettig verrast: we konden in de schaduw zitten op een ruim terras, de bediening was bijzonder vriendelijk, het eten was voortreffelijk en heel schappelijk geprijsd (lunchmenu). We zouden graag vaker langskomen wanneer we in de buurt zouden wonen. We houden de herinnering warm door nu zelf de meloengaspacho met basilicumschuim te maken!

07/09/2024: We were led to go to this restaurant via Google reviews, unfortunately we did not have the same feeling about the friendliness of the staff, the waitress gave a cold welcome, quite the opposite of the chef who came to see us at several times The wait between the different dishes is just endless, although the restaurant can accommodate no more than 30 people. As for the height of the plates they remain good but quite ordinary

11/05/2024: Belle salle cosy, service trop rapide sans aucune explications ni aucun échange. L'entrée est arrivée alors que la mise en bouche n'était pas terminée. Entrées et desserts manquaient de saveurs. Les cuisses de grenouille manquaient d'un accompagnement.

08/09/2024: Nous avons très bien mangé, accueil très sympathique, nous avons déjeuné sur la terrasse, service rapide malgré l'affluence, la pauvre dame doit faire des kilomètres par service, merci beaucoup!!!

24/08/2024: Very cute place with a pleasant terrace, unfortunately, the welcome leaves something to be desired. We arrived with 25 people for a drink in the afternoon. Being very polite and smiling, we asked if it was possible to have a drink. The manager said yes, asking us to spread out on the terrace. When we asked to move two tables closer together to be together, we received a categorical refusal: "We don't move tables just to have a drink." Slightly surprising reaction... Without making waves, we got seated, but a few of our late arriving group unknowingly moved a table. They were scolded like children and asked to sit elsewhere, away from the rest of the group. We didn't really like this way of doing things, but the waitress was very nice, so we decided to ignore it and still had a pleasant time. However, when it was time to pay, everyone took their drink and, not having cash after a hike, we paid by card. Once again, we were lectured because "it's nonsense to pay 5€ with a card", in an unpleasant tone. We were also told that it would have been better to resolve everything at once. It would have been wiser to tell us this from the start and in a more courteous manner. In summary, it is a very nice place, but the friendliness of the staff, especially the manager, is very limited. Damage...
