09/07/2025: My wife and I stayed one night in the Désir chalet. The welcome was attentive and thoughtful. We waited over a complimentary drink while our chalet was made available to us, even though our arrival was scheduled for a later date. We appreciated this very kind gesture. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. As for the chalet, it was an enchanting getaway for my wife and me, as the setting was idyllic and peaceful. The rooms were perfectly cleaned and warmly decorated. As for the hammam and jacuzzi, we spent delightful moments of tranquility there. Finally, the property manager was extremely natural and charming upon our departure. We enjoyed her delightful conversation. Thank you again. We recommend it.

13/04/2026: A pleasant stay, with a few minor negative points: there was no more shower gel in the bathroom, the TV was crackling, the spa area was unfortunately not very relaxing (children were present), and we were unable to enjoy the jacuzzi.

12/04/2026: This establishment borders on perfection; the staff are attentive and pleasant without being intrusive. The cuisine is excellent and refined.

26/04/2026: We came for a drink on the terrace this Saturday, April 25th. We politely asked a waitress where we could sit, and she replied, "Wherever you like." We sat down at a table that had already been cleared, which is normal, but no, a waiter in his fifties spoke down to us and forced us to change tables because we had sat at one that had already been cleared. He said, "Hmm, if everyone does like you, we'll never get anywhere..." (with a completely idiotic laugh). Furthermore, we waited over 20 minutes for two Coca-Colas... This restaurant is to be avoided!!

16/04/2026: We're from Bresse and we came last week with my partner. The meal was truly incredible, but no less so than the servers, who were very friendly and attentive! Special mention to the young waiter who's just starting out: he was fantastic!

12/04/2026: A true discovery. A warm welcome from smiling staff. The "pleasure menu" lives up to its name. It was a delight from start to finish. Perfect pairings and flavors. A special mention for the dessert, which was breathtaking.

26/11/2025: We passed through in August and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. An authentic inn in a lovely green setting. A huge plus for the evening meal and the truly excellent breakfast!!! It's an address we'll definitely keep in mind.

27/04/2026: We arrived around noon with a friend and his dad. I was hesitating between a crispy chicken tender burger and a wild garlic tomme cheese burger, and the smoked bacon and Munster cheese burger. They were so kind and changed the cheese on my burger before I even ordered, asking if I'd like the wild garlic cheese instead! It was excellent! Very little wait, fast service, superb quality, fresh and local ingredients, staff who were attentive to our well-being, and for dessert they even gave us mini madeleines with our order! I'll definitely be back! 😚🤗

21/04/2026: The owner and his wife are awful. The food leaves much to be desired. The service is a complete disaster. And the checkout is a joke. They left a young woman alone at the register, completely disregarding her feelings. This young woman ended up in tears. The owner didn't come to help her, and when we called her over, she replied that this is how we learn. A disaster! Avoid this restaurant at all costs. There are excellent places to eat in Gérardmer, but this is not one of them.

04/11/2025: We discovered this restaurant in 2022, and when we returned this year, we made sure to book in advance because it's very popular, and for good reason: the food is excellent, both the pizzas and the generous salads. The setting is magnificent, with a lovely aquarium that attracts both children and adults. I didn't take any pictures of our meals; I simply didn't think of it 😅

17/04/2026: A fantastic experience at La Taverne Alsacienne! We went as a family with our daughter Lou, and everything went perfectly. She had ham and fries and loved it, which is always a good sign 😄 My wife chose a veal escalope with cream sauce, and I had a baeckeoffe: a real treat! The dishes were generous and delicious, with typical Alsatian flavors. Special mention for the service, which was impeccable: quick, friendly, and professional. We highly recommend it 👍

05/05/2026: A delightful discovery of this small pizzeria and traditional restaurant whose dishes deserve to be better known! Our meals were delicious, from appetizer to dessert; everything is homemade with fresh ingredients, including the thin-crust pizzas with generous toppings—we thoroughly enjoyed them! Mmm, the beef tagliata was pure bliss. The restaurant's charmingly cozy atmosphere is very pleasant. Everything is perfect, from the moment we arrived until the end, and the owners are welcoming and smiling. I highly recommend it and give it an extra bonus for its excellent value for money. Thank you! We'll definitely be back.
