24/05/2026: The food was okay, but nothing special for the price. The service was poor; you had to get up and speak to the waitresses personally to place an order, as you were constantly ignored.

06/07/2026: I didn't stay at the hotel; this review is for the restaurant. Nice place, very local. We weren't sure what to expect from the nuggets, but they were made fresh to order with really good chicken and local ingredients. The same goes for our other dishes, with the option to get seconds of fries. Honestly, I might have eaten too much to go back on the treetop adventure course, haha. I highly recommend it; very affordable prices for the consistently high quality of all our dishes. 👌

17/06/2026: Discovered by chance while having a package delivered to the pickup point. So we booked for the next day at lunchtime for Mother's Day. What a lovely place and such a warm welcome! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and had a wonderful time. We will certainly have the opportunity to return and we will do so with great pleasure.

11/07/2026: We were very happy to have stopped at this restaurant to enjoy some excellent food. For dessert, the ice cream made by an artisan ice cream maker was of very high quality. Excellent value for money and a very friendly welcome. Thank you!

09/07/2026: From the set menu or à la carte, we sampled the Greek Salad, the Oriental-style Calamari, the Veal Shank, and the Caramel Cream; all these homemade dishes were excellent. The dining room is very cool with its Ardèche stone walls. A pleasant experience during a meal.

13/06/2026: A lovely little 3-star hotel. The grounds are well-maintained. The accessible room is very good for people with significant disabilities. The breakfast is good, with excellent pastries. There's an outdoor terrace. Dogs are welcome (but it's a bit expensive, €12 per night). Free parking is available, but it's closed at night. However, the downside is its proximity to a busy road, which means it's quite noisy.

30/08/2026: Fantastic experience at Le Pastourelle! The food, service, and value for money were all top-notch! Not to mention all the must-try Ardèche culinary delights. A huge thank you also to the owner and Sergio for their help and the tools to open our car, which had locked itself with the keys inside! 😁

20/08/2026: We had a lovely meal in this pleasant setting. Christophe is very welcoming. Don't hesitate to stop by when you're on the Via Ardèche towards the chapel near Aubenas.

01/09/2026: On our way back from vacation, we stopped there. No complaints about the atmosphere or the place itself. However, of the two glasses of rosé we ordered as an aperitif, one was significantly less than the advertised amount. The Caesar salad at €20... overpriced, as it wasn't very generous and the croutons were just bits of rusk. As for the fries, they were reheated and therefore very dry. In short, better than nothing, but not amazing.

31/05/2026: We were a group of bikers staying for one night. We received an excellent welcome, a very good dinner (half-board), and a truly delicious breakfast buffet. Unfortunately, our late arrival meant we couldn't use the spa! Highly recommended.

26/05/2026: We stopped here yesterday during our motorcycle trip and it was absolutely perfect: a warm welcome, a delicious local meal with homemade dishes, and a generous homemade breakfast. The room was lovely, I highly recommend it. And thank you also to Nono the little robot 🤖 All at a very affordable price 👌🏻

16/09/2026: I came with friends on September 15, 2026, hoping to have a good time. We ended up having to fight for a refund because the waitress charged us twice before saying, and I quote, "I'm tired, sharing from the table of 11 is tiring me out, I can't refund you by card." Being in the business ourselves, we offered a cash refund, but she said, "No, I can't, I can't refund in cash." This was outrageous, especially given her haughty, condescending tone. Thanks anyway to her long-haired colleague who, despite everything, made our experience enjoyable, even though, and I quote again, after we ordered two crepes, she came back with only one, saying, "No, there was only one." No apology, no consideration whatsoever. It's shameful to be so unpleasant in front of customers. I won't be going back, and I wouldn't recommend it to you either.

25/04/2026: We arrived as a group of 13 and all left satisfied: the place is very pleasant, the food is good, the waitresses are friendly and efficient, and the prices are quite reasonable. In addition, the restaurant is located in a quiet area, and parking is easy thanks to the on-site parking lot. I recommend it!

25/05/2026: Very good restaurant. Small, rustic dining room. It's true that the service is basic and doesn't meet the standards of modern restaurants, but at least you can feel the owners' genuine pleasure in welcoming guests. Excellent plate of homemade charcuterie, a quality Ardèche dish "just like Grandma used to make," tasty and generous. Highly recommended.
