It's a silent ballet where everyone plays their part with dexterity. A soothing calm pervades the place. The staff is charming, smiling, and attentive. We adore this place and the people who work there.

07/07/2026: I visited La Maison d’Isabelle after hearing so many people recommend their croissants, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. I arrived early in the morning, but there was already a long line of locals and tourists waiting for freshly baked pastries. The wait was definitely worth it. The croissant was served warm, with an incredibly flaky, buttery crust and a soft, airy interior. It was honestly one of the best croissants I’ve had in Paris, and much better than I expected. The display case was also impressive, filled with beautiful pastries, giant cookies, éclairs, lemon tarts, flan, quiches, fresh salads, and a variety of artisan breads. Everything looked fresh and delicious, making it hard to choose just one item. The only downside is that they don’t serve coffee and there isn’t any seating. Enjoying their fresh croissant with a good cup of coffee would have made the experience even better. Overall, this bakery is absolutely worth visiting if you’re in Paris. I would definitely come back on my next trip. 🥐🇫🇷

06/07/2026: Too many people, and too much noise. The dancing—well, just one dance—started shortly before 10:00 PM instead of 9:30 PM, and the food was okay, but nothing special, as it was quite spicy without being advertised. The cocktails were rather expensive. Perhaps all of this is due to the start of the holidays, but I don't want to go back.

26/02/2026: A world food assortment, chosen on a whim after getting off the 91 bus, following a late arrival at Gare du Nord at the end of a long day. Nice cocktail. Dishes that did their job in an atmosphere more reminiscent of the République district than the Marais. I was more exhausted going in than leaving, despite the alcohol. So: Mission accomplished.

The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. The food was absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly presented. Every bite felt thoughtfully prepared, with a great balance of authentic Asian flavors and a modern twist. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients. If you’re looking for a cozy spot with amazing food and excellent service, Gokua Asian Cantine is definitely a place to try. I can’t wait to go back! 🌟

First, the decor is truly magnificent, a cozy and peaceful haven. Second, the service was excellent. The young man who looked after us was a sweetheart, and his mother seemed very kind as well. Finally, the food was absolutely delicious. It's so refreshing to eat such good food prepared with so much love and passion. Thank you!

30/05/2026: A Korean oasis in Paris. Since discovering this place, I visited for two consecutive days during the rest of my trip. The yukhoe (raw beef) is particularly delicious, fresh, and reasonably priced. Even my parents, who are picky eaters, were satisfied. I highly recommend it!

The owner kindly provides a large bottle of ice water, offers generous side dishes, and even lets you refill your rice. The food is delicious, so if you miss authentic Korean food, you should definitely visit here. It is a Korean restaurant overflowing with warmth and generosity that makes you feel good. They even packed up the leftovers for me to eat at my hotel for another meal, along with the rice and side dishes, because a single meal is precious in a place like Paris where the cost of living is high.
