19/10/2026: We were curious, and our opinion aligns with that of many others. The food needs a complete overhaul; my husband's cassoulet was inedible. The smell and the taste... For my part, the duck breast was perfect, cooked right before our eyes over the fireplace by the kind waitress. I think she's the reason the restaurant is still open today. Because even the woman who greeted us seemed unfriendly and unpleasant. In short, we wanted to escape to medieval times... We weren't far off in the end; we ate like they did back then, without any enjoyment, just to get our fill...

18/10/2026: During our houseboat trip on the Canal du Midi, we discovered this excellent restaurant in Carcassonne. We were on our way to the historic old town and made a reservation for the evening. That was a good thing, because while we were sitting down, the tables around us filled up very quickly. We ordered different dishes, all of which were a real treat. The very attentive waiter was always nearby to take any drink orders. We were familiar with the regional wines, which suited our tastes, from previous trips, so we quickly found the perfect one. The restaurant is very well-maintained and clean. The price-performance ratio is perfectly reasonable. We highly recommend this restaurant. 5 stars!!

20/09/2026: Passing through in June, I was pleasantly surprised; everything was good, the young and friendly team, I highly recommend it. The cassoulet was excellent 🤩 One small drawback: we came during a heatwave and there was no air conditioning, which was a shame as the only fans were blowing towards the bar.

For my husband's birthday, forty people were present, all satisfied with the meal, the service, and the friendliness of the staff. Julie is very competent, pleasant, and dedicated to satisfying her customers. I recommend this establishment and will contact them again for another occasion.

03/10/2026: Never a McDonald's sandwich in the evening, which is incomprehensible; the fast food restaurant closes at 2 AM or midnight at the latest, depending on the night. Never a McDonald's sandwich; I went there on October 2nd, 2026.

02/10/2026: I think I'm McDonald's dog... The burger was served all wrong, it wasn't closed properly, the toppings were everywhere, yes... but apart from the burger itself... Guys, I work in a restaurant and I know what a rush is like, but at some point, please do it right. Anyway, after the second burger served like that, I understood that Burger King isn't the "king of burgers" for nothing.

01/10/2026: The food was really amazing. I ordered a taco duo; super big and well-filled. The meat was well-cooked and nicely seasoned. Tasty fries inside the taco. Super nice host. He is from Morocco, speaks French, English, and reasonable Dutch because he has family there. Definitely recommended for a quick, tasty, good bite to eat. I will definitely go back again and certainly recommend it to others to try it for themselves.

But after a 20-minute wait, seeing a haughty, unpleasant waiter who didn't even greet us, pushing us aside to let other people who had been waiting less time go ahead of us, was truly disappointing. As a result... we left... Sorry we weren't Spanish!
