24/04/2026: Getting worse and worse, the bread is burnt underneath and undercooked on top. I won't go back. It's not enough to just raise your prices; the bread should be of a higher standard.

19/08/2026: As a regular McDonald’s customer, placing 2 to 3 orders per week for a couple and a child, I would like to report a recurring problem. During our last order at the McDonald’s in Waziers, we paid extra for a figurine, but it was missing from our bag. We recently encountered the exact same situation at the McDonald’s in Orchies: the extra charge was processed, but the figurine was missing. An occasional oversight can obviously happen. However, when this happens repeatedly at several restaurants with the same type of paid item, it primarily reveals a lack of quality control during order preparation and delivery. Given our order frequency, this is not a reaction to a single bad experience. When a customer specifically pays extra for an item, it is reasonable to expect it to be in their bag, without having to systematically check their order in the parking lot. Therefore, more rigorous verification of paid promotional items is necessary. EDIT following the response from the McDonald’s in Orchies: I would like to clarify that my comment was primarily intended to report this issue so that it could be identified and corrected, and not to specifically blame the Orchies restaurant. The fact that I encountered the same problem in Waziers demonstrates that it doesn't seem to be specific to any one location. I therefore thank the McDonald’s in Orchies for taking the time to respond and consider my feedback. In light of their response and their approach, I am revising my overall rating to 3 stars. I simply hope that this report will lead to stricter controls so that this recurring problem with extra-pay items is truly resolved.

26/08/2026: The McDonald's in Flanders has reached a pinnacle of technical excellence. Meat: evenly seared, perfect Maillard reaction. Bun: airy texture, elasticity controlled to the micron. Fries: crispy edges + fluffy center = equation solved. Result: a consistency no Michelin-starred restaurant dares dream of. Here, you eat with the rigor of a scientific protocol. It's better. Period. But then, things take a different turn. The toilets are disgusting. Dungeon level. You push open the door and it's like Dark Souls in real life. Slimy floor, suspicious puddles, you have to do parkour to avoid stepping. Final boss: the toilet bowl that hasn't been flushed since the last World Cup. Smell: a mix of burnt fryer, dead bleach, and despair. It assaults your nostrils like an uppercut. Soap? Nonexistent. Toilet paper? A myth. The hand dryer? It wails like an air raid siren but only blows out lukewarm air. You get the feeling that if you stay five minutes longer, you'll have to sign a pact to get out alive. Graffiti on the walls, an overflowing trash can, drips of unknown sauces strung together. It looks like there was a Big Mac war and nobody won.

26/08/2026: There are four of us waiting, and they're as slow as tortoises. I order a salad and ask for hazelnut vinaigrette, but the woman gives me Caesar dressing even though I didn't ask for it. She tells me that's all they have, even though I know that's not true, especially since I always order it! They're useless in every way.

03/08/2026: I regularly go to different GUR locations, but here in Leers on August 3, 2026, my mixed galette was dripping with grease. This is the second time I've come here, but the last.

27/07/2026: Hello, I was very disappointed when I got home. The kebab was cold (it was probably put on hold) and the cheddar fries were missing. They can't be reached by phone, but they can be contacted by email, and I've been waiting for a response for a week.

20/07/2026: Poorly laid out, not what you expect from a McDonald's, and they don't accept ANCV Connect while other McDonald's in smaller towns do.

04/08/2026: 2026 2:27 PM Order paid: 4 ice creams (no menu), 1 cappuccino, 1 Happy Meal. Happy Meal served fairly quickly: fries, nuggets, and a drink on a tray, no box, no free gift, no sauce... uh, we ordered a Happy Meal, we had to ask for it... 2:49 PM, still no ice cream or cappuccino. Not much time left because of an appointment, so I went to ask for it, and my order was finally taken and prepared. Too bad, very few people were there, a long wait, and if we hadn't asked, I don't know how long we would have waited... In short, we finished our order on the way home. Another very bad experience, not to mention the air conditioning; it's freezing cold in this McDonald's, and I'm only leaving a review on rare occasions. 2024 We went to the drive-thru today around 2:30 PM. Well, despite the fact that there was no one there, we waited 20 minutes for 4 sandwiches 🤔🤔 and weren't given any napkins. The only positive point, unlike other times, is that the meal is hot.

28/07/2026: Ordered one evening, after eating McDonald's with a stomachache followed by diarrhea, the little one vomited up his entire kids' burger. Always order mistakes. Too long a wait, sticky floor, dirty tables... NEVER AGAIN...

01/09/2026: We waited over 40 minutes after ordering in, and it was taking so long we ended up getting takeout.

09/08/2026: There was a lack of meat, raw vegetables, and surprisingly, even bread. The promotional menu was rarely (if ever) available.

06/08/2026: I ate a kebab and I felt very unwell.

25/08/2026: NO MORE ICE CREAM OR MILKSHAKES! UNACCEPTABLE!

23/08/2026: The tables were dirty and hadn't been cleaned. We asked for our table to be cleaned, but only ours was, even though many others were free... and dirty. There was a lot of food on the floor. Outside, this attracted a large number of ants that climbed onto the tables during meals. In short, it was unpleasant and very noisy.

31/08/2026: Don't go there under any circumstances. I've already used the drive-thru about ten times, but that's it, I've reached my limit. The wait at the drive-thru is a minimum of 30 minutes (record 54 minutes). The staff aren't friendly or efficient, which isn't my criticism, but I think the management needs to be reviewed. Half the time, items are missing from the order, and they categorically refuse a refund. I also tried delivery, a mistake I won't make again, Carla. Besides waiting over an hour, you have a 100% chance of having items missing, especially if you pay with points.

31/08/2026: Desperate because of the wait time… It's getting worse and worse, a 45-minute wait at the drive-thru to pick up an order of 4 burgers. The order arrived, of course, cold… No apology, nothing… Avoid this place unless you have time to waste and enjoy eating cold food. I don't understand why this restaurant is still called "fast" food… disappointing

29/08/2026: A very bad experience at this McDonald's in Marcq-en-Barœul. We were particularly embarrassed to hear a manager openly criticizing her colleagues with another colleague, in front of other customers. We also witnessed a manner of speaking to a customer that we found very inappropriate and disrespectful. As customers, we truly wondered what had happened to us. This kind of behavior is not the image one expects from an establishment open to the public. For our part, we will not be returning.
